Chapter 1: The Extreme Ball Match

The year is 2187.
<br />
Many inventions, from brilliant (and sometimes crazy)
<br />
Scientists have made today's life more uncomplicated, more exciting,
<br />
More adventurous and simply designed to be more liveable.
<br />
The simple house robots provide us with an example. These bring you that
<br />
Breakfast in bed, help you get dressed, etc ...
<br />
But there were also inventions that didn't serve a good cause.
<br />
New tank, fighter and cyborg technologies were only created for that purpose
<br />
designed to cause more and more damage in war.
<br />
In the 3rd World War almost 50% of the earth's population died - a good 3 billion.
<br />
But let's ignore the bad things and dedicate ourselves to the sport.
<br />
Extreme Ball is the name of the mixture of soccer, handball and rugby.
<br />
It is played in almost exactly the same way, with the difference that the field is smaller
<br />
and there are only three players per team.The dangerous thing about this one
<br />
Sport,
<br />
the ball throws electric shock if it lasts longer than 10 seconds
<br />
is not subjected to sudden movements. An Extreme Ball Match lasts 60
<br />
Minutes. But there is no break during the game - neither
<br />
Substitutions.
<br />
19-year-old Phil Stacer was also an extreme (that's what they call the people who
<br />
Extreme ball play). He played with the FZero team. Zak, a
<br />
black-haired, normal tall and slim 20-year-old, one of the
<br />
fastest extreme in the world, also played alongside a third party.
<br />
That third one was neon. He was shorter than Zak and Stacer, but that made him feel
<br />
nothing at all. What he lacked in height, he did in speed and
<br />
Stamina easily makes up for it. He was 21 had night black,
<br />
short, slightly upright hair.
<br />
Zak, Neon and Stacer were best friends.They knew each other from childhood
<br />
and started together with the Extreme Ball.
<br />
Aprpos Stacer, I haven't told you anything about him yet. He was the one
<br />
Team captain.
<br />
He was distinguished by his blond, short hair that was pointed upwards
<br />
quite different from the others. One of his blue-eyed ones, namely the right one, became
<br />
streaked with a long scar. This ran from the corner of the mouth to almost
<br />
Hairline. He got it at an extreme ball match.
<br />

>> Toooooooor !!! <<
<br />
It boomed like a bomb through the huge hall and was only heard by the
<br />
Cheers from the audience drowned out.
<br />
3: 2 for FZero.
<br />
10 minutes until the end of the game. The Black Deaths turned out to be
<br />
stubborn opponents, but in the end Stacer's team was ahead.
<br />
The all-black-clad Deaths snorted around while theirs
<br />
Opponents celebrated the 3-2 internally.<br />
The sold-out Star Stadium in the capital Ilenvium threatened because of the
<br />
Cheers almost collapse.
<br />
The goalscorer Zak proudly held the metal, tennis ball-sized electric ball in
<br />
hand while Stacer carried him on his shoulder.
<br />
>> 10 minutes left! Nothing can go wrong now! <<, whispered Stacer Neon
<br />
and Zak, whom he was just putting down on the floor again.
<br />
Both nodded.
<br />
then the electrically charged ball was sent to the team leader of the Black Deaths
<br />
passed on.
<br />
He looked terrifying with his scarred face and dark eyes
<br />
out. His pitch black, short hair was all sweaty - but that was it
<br />
no wonder after 50 minutes of playing time.
<br />
With full power he threw the ball at his teammate. The crazy thing about that
<br />
The gamer was that he wasn't actually a gamer, but a cyborg -
<br />
reprogrammed for sport. So it was made of extremely hard metal.<br />
In the sprint he caught the ball spinning around its own axis with ease
<br />
and ran like a madman towards Zak. But he didn't hesitate for a second and
<br />
also ran towards his opponent - that over with an insane
<br />
Speed.
<br />
The cyborg tried to ram his wired elbow into his chest,
<br />
but that didn't work.
<br />
Zak avoided the blow almost playfully, jumping over the astonished robot
<br />
away and landed behind him. then he ran madly towards his opponent,
<br />
grabbed the arm the cyborg was holding on to the ball, lifted it away, and snapped
<br />
the ball with his other hand.
<br />
Then Zak tossed the ball at Neon. This raced on the third Black Death
<br />
Player too - Cinnon, the gravedigger, like him because of him all the time
<br />
long, black leather clothes.
<br />
Cinnon stopped and got ready to intercept him.
<br />
Neon's sprint was taking too long because the ball was already giving off small pulses of electricity.<br />
>> I have to hand over the ball, otherwise it will blow up! <<
<br />
He was just about to pass the glowing ball on to Stacer when suddenly
<br />
Cinnon appeared above him.
<br />
Neon couldn't believe it.
<br />
Cinnon pushed the ball back into his hand - so that Neon put it back into his hand
<br />
could not give up.
<br />
He was still trying to get the ball free, but it was too late.
<br />
Cinnon pulled away from Neon and landed two meters with a backflip
<br />
in front of him.
<br />
The ball glowed red and made a high pitched sound.
<br />
Then it exploded with such force that even Stacer and Zak
<br />
were thrown back. Heaps of metal splinters came out of the gray one
<br />
Cloud of dust that ensnared neon and almost hit a few extremes.
<br />
But suddenly something shot out of the cloud that wasn't like a splinter
<br />
looked like ... but like the inside of the Extreme Ball.
<br />At insane speed it shot towards the gate - the gate of the FZero!
<br />
Stacer dived for the little golden ball, but could only touch it.
<br />
Zak wasn't any more lucky either. He caught her with his hands, but she did
<br />
Ball was so fast that it just slipped through his hands and
<br />
slammed into the goal - 3: 3!
