Like Eternity <br />

The bare stone stands in front of me. It shines in the winter sun. Snow slides from a pine branch. The silver writing stabs our eyes. <br />

"Loved, weeping and unforgotten" <br />
<br />
The wind is picking up. He tousles my hair. A lump forms in my chest. I still can't believe it's been three months. Three months in which I have not lived in this world. <br />
<br />
It was a world of sorrow, grief, and pain. After he left, I have no more life. Everything has become pointless. Everything I have built for myself, everything I stand for, everything I feel. If I could, I would follow him. But I feel that my time has not yet come ... right?<br />

A tear drips from my chin and freezes. I kneel trembling in front of the stone. With stiff fingers, I stroke the rose next to the words of mourning. <br />

The wind is playing in my hair and I feel like I'm no longer alone. Somebody is with me and helps me in these difficult times. <br />

"I love you ..." I say softly and nestle my reddened cheek against the stone. He is cold and lifeless. Like you have never been. I am slowly detaching myself from him. It still hurts. Even more than when He died. <br />

The loss was terrible. He was the best in my whole, meaningless life. Without him I would not be what I am today. It's like I only half exist. Part of my soul is gone. Disappeared. And I don't know where she is. <br />

A sound awakens my mind from the trance that has come over it. I look next to me and discover a white dove that can hardly be seen on the snow.Only her red eyes give contrast. "Well, little one? Smiling mildly, He kneels down to me and pulls me into his arms. He smells just like him. I'm still too light-headed. I hear him laughing softly. Yes, it is He, even if I doubted it, now I know. <br />

The evening sun bathes us in the golden light of peace. It's so nice to be able to touch him again. Now that He is with me, I feel whole again. Feel the love in me that penetrates through sadness. <br />

I turn away from him and walk through the people. My breath catches. My body is still leaning against the stone. <br />

"Father! Wake up damn it !!" I can hear the pain in his voice. He doesn't want me to die.I turn to my angel. He looks so lost. Just like he stands there alone in the white snow. <br />

"You should wake up, I said! Can't you at least listen to me now?" Despair mixes with the pain. <br />

What shall I do? Back to my son, who is the only one I still have, or to my angel, without whom I cannot live? I would hurt both of them. But that's the last thing I want! <br />
