Here is the 2nd chapter of "So much and yet nothing". Thanks for the three lovely comments. Hopefully there will be a little more this time.
Chapter2- does he have a chance?
Silently she sat down next to him on the floor. She thought about the flowers. Maybe they weren't from him at all. Actually, she had intended to ask him about it. But if he wasn't, she'd be seen as a complete idiot. She preferred to leave it. She would have loved to know why. The reason that made him break off their engagement. If she asked him about it now, it would look like she was in love with him. She didn't dare ask that either. Violet. Your favorite flowers. Maybe it was Kasumi. Maybe she wanted to please her, but then she would have spoken to her about it. Her gaze fell on the training doll. What must he have done to her. She looked terrible. "Ranma?" "Hmm?" "Are you mad?"" He looked at her. Angry? Why then? He shook his head. Well not, but then why did the doll look like this? A thought occurred to her. It was so absurd that she didn't even think about it. Maybe breaking off the engagement hadn't been so easy for him after all. Maybe he didn't care that much after all. She shook her head. Certainly not. How did she come up with it?
Ranma noticed that she was shaking her head violently and looked at her in amazement. What does she have? She didn't seem to be responsive anymore. Ranma fumbled around in front of her nose, calling her by her nicknames "Machoeib" and "Flachbrett". Normally he would be beaten up by her now, but nothing happened. She just sat there without the slightest movement. She had stopped shaking. Ranma thought her head would fall off. But he was slowly becoming worried, she had paused like this for 20 minutes, made no expression, showed no emotion. Wouldn't she be a little unconscious or even dead ?!"Akane?" There was fear in his voice. Afraid for his ex-fiancée. Had she minded so much when he broke off the engagement? Would she ever wake up again? "The food is on the table. Are you coming Ranma?" "I'm not hungry, Kasumi," he called to the eldest of the Tendo daughters. "Aren't you okay?" She asked back worriedly. "Yes, yes, but I was at U-chan's earlier and I already ate there," he reassured her. She went back inside and sat down at the table with the others. “Where's Ranma?” Soun looked up from his newspaper. "In the dojo, he has already eaten at Ukyo." "Well then I'll eat his portion." Genma stuffed the food into her mouth with relish. "Akane? Can you hear me?" What was she doing? Why didn't he get an answer? Why didn't she just open her eyes? He didn't know a way that he hadn't already tried. "Try a kiss." Ranma startled.Nabiki stood grinning in the doorway. "Are you still okay? I should kiss this macho woman?" She nodded. Kuno stepped in, gave his girlfriend a kiss and looked at the whole thing. "What's going on here?" "Akane is only here physically", Nabiki replied. In love, she looked him in the eye. Only then did he look at Ranma. "A kiss is probably not that bad, it worked with Sleeping Beauty." Since Kuno was together with Nabiki, he got along better with both of them. “Sleeping Beauty is a fairy tale.” He was not yet particularly convinced of the idea. P-chan joined them with a squeak. “You are just right!” Ranma happily grabbed the squeaking piglet and set it down in front of Akane. "Kiss her!" He ordered. P-Chan's eyes widened. He approached her face happily. Jealousy was reflected in Ranma's eyes. Akane's words that morning came to mind. `... I don't understand how you can be jealous of a little piglet ...` he couldn't either.Even if Akane had been in love, Ryoga as a pig would have been no competition for him. She would hardly fall in love with a piglet. Shortly before the kiss, Akane woke up from her trance again. “P-chan!” She happily hugged her piglet. She looked angrily at her ex-fiancé. "What did you do to him? He looks totally sad." "Nothing at all!" He turned away, got up and left the dojo. What was the matter? Something strange. It was like she was in another world. She had called out familiar voices, but could not assign them. All of her thoughts were centered around just one thing. Why did he do that? Why had he broken off the engagement? She felt a strange feeling. It was partly anger, anger towards who was to blame for everything, partly disappointment because she hadn't expected that from him. She looked down. She had resigned herself to marrying him.How could he hurt her like that now? They lived with them for a year, a whole year. It had been clear to her that she could not shirk, she was no longer a small child, she finally had to stand by her engagement. Her parents and grandparents had already been married like this, it was difficult for everyone to come to terms with it at the beginning, but they made it. She couldn't understand his decision, she didn't want to. She went to her room. The violets beamed at her. She smiled happily at them. Flowers were magical, she was sure of that. They always made her happy no matter how deep she fell into a black hole. But something immediately occurred to her. Maybe they were from him after all. Maybe they should be some kind of parting present. She threw herself on the bed. Tears found their way into her pillow. P-chan, who had followed her, looked at her. What did she have recently? She looked totally exhausted. Akane pounded her pillow furiously. Nobody treated her like that, and certainly not he! She sat up, picked up her mirror, and wiped away her tears. Then she went to the closet, took out a blue mini dress and put it on. She put her hair up. Then she dug out her make-up and started applying make-up. She grabbed her little blue bag and left the house. As she walked through the dark streets, many whistles broke the darkness. But Akane didn't pay attention, she was too busy with her thoughts.
She was there. A large tent spanned the large square in front of her. Music came over to her. She looked at the lights in front of her in silence. Slowly she approached the entrance and entered the fairground. The expected group of boys did not materialize. She looked around a little puzzled. The boys all just stood there and stared at her. They didn't expect that. They hadn't expected Akane to be there, moreover alone and without their constant company. The first shock was followed by another. Akane in a dress and, moreover, in a mini was not often seen. When they recovered, Akane was gone. She had just arrived at a stand and bought an ice cream. Just as she was about to take it, a red rose was held in front of her nose from behind. Confused, she turned and looked into emerald green eyes. A boy grinned cheekily at her. "I thought this flower would go best with such a beauty," he coaxed. Perplexed she took his flower. Akane had composed himself again and asked what his name was. "Shuji", he replied with a smile. That smile, Akane couldn't take her eyes off. "May I invite you to a piece of cake?", He looked at her friendly. “Sure, why not.” Together they went into the big marquee and looked for a place. The two got along great and agreed to meet for the next day. “I'll pick you up at three.” To say goodbye, she kissed him on the cheek and went home happily.
So, that was the second part. If there are more clerks this time, the third part won't be long in coming either ^^.
