Miroku had given a prayer service for Kohaku before they left. Sango's grief was great. Sasuak got the answer to her question from what happened, but it was the most terrible she could have ever imagined. They were all smeared with blood and when Sango wanted to take a bath in the hot spring (which was there in the forest) Kagome and Sasuka went with them, because they wanted to prevent Sango from drowning because she was really miserable. Everyone washed in silence, Rin and Shippo bathed with them. The others were sitting by the fire that they had lit, since it was really night by now. ~ Sango - ~ Kagome wanted to say something but it got stuck in her throat and she broke off with her head bowed. ~ I just want to go behind the rock to be alone for a moment ~ Kagome and Sauka looked at each other and couldn't refuse her wish so she left.

The next morning when everyone just woke up it was almost noon, they were actually woken up by the crackling of a demonic fire that came towards them.

~ Aki! ~ now two Sasuka were happy and hugged her with tears in her eyes and Inuyasha sighed a little shakily and then hugged her too. The flea ghost Mioga, which hardly anyone had missed, was completely overlooked in the joy.
