Chapter 4

“Naraku!” “Quite right.” A white baboon took a step forward. "What do you want ?! Didn't Kagura tell you that I won't help you ?!" "Yes, but I wanted to convince myself of it." “As you like.” He disappeared back into the forest. "That was too easy .." Sesshoumaru went back to our camp. I followed him. He didn't seem to be on good terms with this Naraku. I thought it better not to ask him about it. At some point I would find out. Suddenly Sesshoumaru jumped into the bushes. I looked carefully. There was a baboon hide there. The head lay a little further on the floor. Sesshoumaru had cut off his head with one blow. "He escaped .." He turned and looked at me. "What is it?" "..." "That was just a doll.I didn't get him ... Unfortunately. "I didn't answer him. This shock had to be digested first. He was a demon and kills demons. What had InuYasha said?" He kills without blinking an eye ". Now I had the proof.

Samira had noticed him too and came up to the two of them. “Where have you been?” Sesshoumaru looked at him questioningly. Sam was now right behind Jaken."With me." A laugh echoed in the forest, making Sam shudder. She knew that voice, but where did she come from? She just didn't want to think of it. “Naraku!” Yes, that was clearly Naraku. “Sam!” Sam had grabbed a white baboon skin and jumped on one of the trees. She had been so surprised that she hadn't struggled. The demon was about to save his "hostage", but Jaken blocked his way. “What is this crap ?!” Sesshoumaru was visibly upset. “Jaken is listening to me now.” Naraku laughed again. “You will hardly kill your servant.” “Sesshoumaru! Something is glowing in Jaken's back!” “What ?!” Sesshoumaru and Naraku stared at her. She looked from one to the other. Did she say something wrong? “So that's it.” The demon grinned at her. "You can also see splinters. That will be of great help to me." This green! She would have loved to give him a clap just for that. But that wouldn't have helped Sesshoumaru, and certainly not her.He looked back at Sesshoumaru. He didn't seem to have a problem killing Jaken. Because he simply cut off his servant's head without blinking an eyelid. Blood soaked the ground dark red. Jaken's wide eyes didn't make the picture any clearer either. Even Naraku didn't seem to have expected this because his laughter stopped. “You lost that bet.” Sesshoumaru looked up at the white baboon. He mumbled something angrily to himself. "I didn't even use Toukijin. What weak demon powers you have." He looked contemptuously at Naraku out of the corner of his eye. He knelt next to Jaken and took a small, pink splinter from his back. “Grrr!” The monkey picked Sam up and jumped away through the forest. “You will pay for that, Naraku!” Sesshoumaru looked angrily after them. He put the splinter away and pulled Tensaiga. With one blow he killed the messengers of the afterlife and brought Jaken back to life. "Sesshoumaru-sama. What happened?"Confused, he looked around.
Great. Now I had been kidnapped again. I had just gotten along reasonably well with Rin and Sesshoumaru. Plus, that fur stank to heaven! "Hey! Do you wash that thing?" "What's that got to do with you ?!" Oops, now he was mad. Me and my cheeky mouth. I could have slapped myself. Who knows what he would do to me now. I swallowed. I didn't want to imagine that. Where did he take me now? I wanted to go back to that stupid demon, I wanted to go to Sesshoumaru. Would he save me? Maybe he would really do it. He was very angry with this monkey fur. Maybe he would save me just to beat him up. But ... maybe he was also glad that I was gone now. ... Sesshoumaru! ...
