Fanfic: Back to Hogwarts
Chapter: Detour to Diagon Alley
It was well after noon when Lavinia woke up.
Still dazed, she stretched out and thought of the beautiful dream she had had, but wait ... it wasn't a dream.
In fact, Severus was lying next to her in a slightly twisted position. Breathing in deep, calm breaths, he slept very peacefully.
"How cute!", Lavinia thought ecstatically and had to smile. She leaned forward and started kissing his bare back.
After a few minutes the black-haired man began to stretch out, moan softly and sleepily asked: "What time is it ...?"
Shrugging, Lavinia replied: "It doesn't matter, I'm out of my job anyway, so what the heck."
She smiled and looked at Severus as he rolled over onto his back. He reached for her, pulled her towards him, and stroked her face.
"You have become so beautiful and so mature, Lavinia.", He said and looked at her in the now bright light that fell through the window.
Lavinia narrowed her eyes slightly and laid her head on his chest."You're a flatterer!", She laughed and took his hand which had been brushed down her cheek again and again.
"No, I am not and you know that too," he replied.
Lavinia began kissing the palm of his hand and nestled her cheek in his hand.
Suddenly she straightened up, whereupon Severus looked at her questioningly. The sheet had slipped down and he was looking at her shapely body, he too finally sat up and asked: "What have you got?"
"I've made up my mind ..." she said while snuggling up to him.
"Decision?" He paused
She nodded: "Yes, I'll go back to Hogwarts with you and become a professor there too."
Snape, who had started kissing her neck and caressing her, whispered, "This is my girl! I'm pleased with your decision."
...
"What? A half-breed should be a trainer? I will know how to prevent that.", Lucius Malfoy was beside himself and ran up and down the room like a wild tiger. The school council had been called together to discuss whether Lavinia Mortimor would be admitted as a trainer.
"Lucius, she has shown herself to be very talented throughout her school days. I realize that she did not start school until she was 13, but only because her talent showed up very late." Albus Dumbledore said soothingly, followed by Professor Minerva McGonagall nodded in agreement.
"It doesn't matter, she is and remains a half-breed and is absolutely inadequate for the training of young witches and wizards. What does Professor Snape say about that, he would certainly not approve of that either. Where is he anyway?", Mr. Malfoy snapped into her Round.
"Oh, I'll have to disappoint you, he's on his way to get her. Give up Lucius, you're outvoted, she'll be starting her training shortly and I assure you she'll prove to be one of the best," said Professor McGonagall .
With an angry hiss, like a snake, Lucius left the council room and slammed the door shut behind him.The other council members looked at each other meaningfully and some shook their heads.
Lavinia had made up quickly and asked: "How do we get to Hogwarts without a train?"
"I've discussed everything with the train driver, he leaves unplanned as soon as everything is ready. Have you packed your bags?" Answered Severus, who was still busy arranging his clothes.
"No not yet, but it can be done very quickly.", Lavinia replied happily.
She was happy to return and quickly ran back into the bedroom and was already about to get her clothes out of the closet and toss them on the bed.
"You still have no sense of order!" He shook his head and started to fold her clothes.
"Oh no, I'll do it.", She replied and opened a travel bag that she had taken out of the closet last and pushed the things from the bed into the bag.
"So ready, can we?" She said with a grin as she pulled the bag shut with an effort because it was too full."You're impossible! At first you don't want to come with us, and now you can't wait any longer." Said the startled Snape, "Well then, let's go." He added, reaching for the bag and carrying it for the boy Mrs.
When she reached the bottom, she slipped another note that she had previously written into the caretaker's mailbox, on the note in her neat handwriting read:
Dear Mr. Herrold,
I'm on my way to my real home, won't be back.
Please arrange everything for me with the landlord.
I wish you all the best!
With the kindest regards,
Lavinia Mortimor
Mr. Herrold was a lovely old man in his seventies who had lived alone since the death of his wife, he had always been concerned about Lavinia's and had taken her to his heart like a daughter.
Lavinia was a little sorry that she would probably never see him again, but she would be happier at Hogwarts than anywhere else and that took away the sadness that had befallen her.On the street, the people looked in amazement, or even horrified, after the two of them, because the appearance of the professor caused a great sensation among the Muggles.
Lavinia didn't mind, she hacked Severus and leaned her head against him.
It would be an exhausting day, first the long train ride and then seeing the professors again, some of whom she hated.
First of all, she led her off to Diagon Alley, where she still had some shopping to do. She wanted a new wand, as the old one was already very worn because it had already belonged to her mother. But she would never throw it away, because that was the only thing that reminded her of her mother.
She felt so happy when she breathed in the air, it smelled like home, she thought as she stood alone in front of Ollivander's shop, Prof. Snape had told her to wait for him there because he had to run an errand himself.
There she stood now when an old witch bumped into her."Oh sorry, my girl, I didn't see you guys," said the old woman and patted Lavinia's arm.
The young woman smiled and said: "But no, nothing happened."
Suddenly the old woman petrified and looked at Lavinia with icy gray eyes. "Death! Death will overtake you!", She said in a maliciously distorted voice.
The black-haired was so surprised that she stumbled on her back and bumped into someone.
This someone took Lavinia by the shoulders and called to the woman: "What are you talking about? Why should Miss. Mortimor die? Go on and don't bother her with silly chatter."
"You will see, the stars say it. Remember my words!" Said the old woman and still looked into Lavinia's eyes.
Amazed by how she had behaved the old witch, Lavinia looked a little concerned, she was unsettled, was it a warning?
Lavinia resolved to speak to Severus about it.
After the old woman disappeared down a side street, the man turned around and smiled, it was Professor Remus Lupine."Professor, I'm happy to see you again." Lavinia shouted while she shook his hand.
"I hear you have to train as a professor before you too, Miss. Mortimor.", Lupine said, still smiling and leaning on his stick.
"Yes, she intends to ...", Lavinia was startled, Prof. Snape had also come up unnoticed and answered for her.
"Hello Severus, are we in a bad mood again?", Remus replied and grinned maliciously at him, "Well then, Miss. Mortimor, we'll see you more often at Hogwarts from now on. Unfortunately I have to go now, goodbye." he said and walked past them.
Severus raised an eyebrow, glanced after him and said, "Did something happen while I was away?"
"Well, I uh, there was a witch, she acted very strangely towards me, but I think she wanted to scare me."
After Lavinia had told Severus everything, he said thoughtfully, "I don't think she wanted to scare you.According to your description, it was a vision that led her to tell you that. "
It wasn't very comforting for Lavinia what Severus said, but he added: "But don't worry, as long as you're with me nothing will happen to you. I'll protect you."
Severus grabbed Lavinia's arm and pulled her into a dark alley near Nocturn Alley and, after putting her bag down, put her in his arms.
Lavinia sighed and returned the hug.
"Say Severus, was everyone for my return? I mean because a lot of people avoided me when I was still a student. They never accepted me. Just because I didn't get my skills until I was 13."
"This is nothing new to me, but the professors were all for you, including the school board, but I don't know the exact end result, the last meeting was this morning. Don't worry, everyone has been on your side until now, except. .. "Severus interrupted, but Lavinia knew the name of the man who must have been against it."Lucius Malfoy! Am I right?" Said Lavinia.
Severus nodded and gave a fleeting "yes" in response.
"Lavinia, I want to give you something.", The professor leaned back a little and rummaged in his pocket. The young witch watched curiously and asked with excitement: "But why?"
"As a reunion present, so to speak," replied Severus, holding a small, emerald-green, velvet box in his hand and handing it to Lavinia.
The pretty black-haired woman accepted it and looked in disbelief into her lover's face.
"Come on, open it.", He whispered and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
With trembling hands she opened the box, a small scream escaped her, which she suppressed with her hand up.
In the box was a silver ring, it was shaped like a snake that writhed. The serpent's eyes were made of emeralds that sparkled beautifully in a green, magical fire.
Lavinia immediately slipped the ring over her finger and asked, still incredulous: "And is it really for me?""Who else is it for?" He asks, caressing her cheek.
Lavinia wrapped her arms around Severus and kissed him with tears in her eyes, as that was the nicest gesture she had ever seen at im and it reinforced her belief in the kind hearted in him that no one seemed to see as he just did it too well suppressed.
He still made everyone believe that he had no feelings, only that he seemed to be showing his good side to Lavinia.
"Now come on, we should slowly go to the railroad track nine and three-quarters," he said, gave her another quick kiss,
