Chapter: change of time
Christmas was over and I was enjoying the last days of the year. I wanted to go to a big party on New Year's Eve, but Bunny had invited me to start the new year at Rose Castle with all of the Sailor Warriors. I walked through the snowy streets of Tokyo and every now and then looked in the shop windows. I needed a dress and matching shoes for the occasion. The New Year's Eve gala at Rose Castle promised to be much more interesting than the party at * Twentyfour *. As a student, I saw it as a great opportunity to get to know the English host. Many students tried to take part in his actions, he did almost everything for the students. A shiver of anticipation ran through my body and at the same moment I looked into the display of a shop window. What I saw there was beautiful. A pearly white evening dress with lots of lace and elaborate embroidery. Unfortunately the shop had already closed, so I decided to come back the next day.It was already after eight o'clock when Shinko came to me. He's been dating a really nice girl for a while. I had known Reika Wanakwaki since high school and now she was studying at the same university. Shinko had graduated from college in November and had successfully completed his doctorate in medicine. He's been seeing Mamoru more often lately, who was in the middle of his exam preparations. In the summer he was supposed to write his thesis. I smiled inwardly at the thought that we got along so well. I just couldn't get to Chibiusa. Chibiusa had returned to the future just before Christmas. Her behavior towards me was better since she knew who I was, but still cautious. I was trying to find out something about the future, mostly whether I'd graduated, but she was silent and got out of my way from then on. She probably liked Shinko, they both romped around and got hot inside when the thought occurred to me that I might not exist in the future. This put me out of action over the holidays, but I recovered. How could I think such a thing. But I was never quite sure.
Reika and Shinko had been a couple for almost 5 months and I felt how happy they were, but also how Shinko suffered from his second self because he had to keep it from Reika. I hugged when he met me in the hallway with 2 bags of chips and 3 films. I saw his sad look. I took the things from him and sat him on the couch. I quickly made a cup of tea and took the large coffee mugs for which my mother scolded me that this was not the right thing to do. He kept staring at the contents of the cup. “Shinko, you know that you mustn't reveal our secret!” He groaned: “Yes, I know. Mamoru said something like that to me. He knows what it's like to hide, but he's got Bunny.” I put down my arm around him. "But I'm still here too. I used to be your sister!"He put the back of his head on the backrest. And distorted his eyes closed." Aiko, I want an eternal bond with Reika. But I can't withhold my second self from her. Especially since it gets stronger. Maybe in the future I'll just be Kibó. Think of what you said to Usagi at the port. "I started, of course I had thought of it." You're right, maybe you should tell Reika if you have great faith in her. So you want to marry her? "He smiled at me." Yes, I wanted to ask her for her hand tonight! "I was playing with a strand of hair." Then stop sitting here, Shinko! Go to her and tell her the truth! We have had to go through too much not to be able to enjoy this life. "The look in his eyes was overwhelming as he left and I closed the door. I thought he had only come to get my permission. In his heart he had long since decided that he wanted to show Reika his true identity - or not even had to ?!As Prince of the Moon, things had always been easier for him than Serenity and I. He could do almost anything he wanted. I was happy for him, but the fact that he was soon just the husband of a normal woman gave my heart a pang. I wondered if he thought of his fiancée Eophine of Elysion at times, or if his memories of it were still sealed. I went to the balcony and covered myself with a blanket. I saw his blond head step out of the doorway.
Eophine of Elysion was the youngest daughter of the ruling couple on Elysion. I had only seen her once, and that was when the engagement was announced on Elysion. I had traveled there with mother. Serenity had stayed home in bed with a high fever. Eophine was slim, sporty, and beautiful. Her hair was red, and her curls were thick and curled. Her complexion was snow white and her green eyes were beautiful. The temperatures on Elysion were very warm and the robes light and airy.Kibó was unhappy about it because he wanted to marry a girl from Earth, but his obligation as a prince forced him to make a smile on the bad game. An arranged marriage, I knew that my parents had chosen an earth prince for me to re-establish the alliance between earth and moon. But back then, just in time, I announced that I wanted to live as a Sailor Warrior. The marriage of Eophine and Kibó never took place, a short time after the engagement the destructive war broke out.
The doorbell rang and I looked up in surprise. Who could that be now? The clock showed nine o'clock. I opened it and Reika was at my door. She walked past me without a word and aimed straight into the living room. She turned to me demanding: "What's going on between you and Shinko?" I was amazed. "What? I managed to get out, but got myself back together" We are ... friends! "The word 'siblings' almost slipped out of my mind. She sat on the couch. "You know, Aiko, I just can't take it anymore. He keeps talking about you and how great you are. You're more than just a friend!" I was very warm. What should I answer her. Shinko should tell her the truth. The doorbell rang and released me from the tricky situation. Shinko was at the door, completely blown up. "Aiko, Reika's parents said that she wanted to see you. Is Reika here?" I nodded and read him into the living room. He wanted to hug her but she held him back. “Shinko, what have you got with this woman?” He slumped his shoulders and looked at me. I nodded encouragingly to him. He took a short breath: “Reika, Aiko is my sister!” Reika sat down in shock. "Are you kidding me? You can't be siblings! You were born and raised in the opposite part of town. Your parents probably don't even know each other ..." I interrupted her torrent of words irritably. "Reika, let Shinko explain it!"He took hold of her again and took her hand, which she withdrew." Reika, do you believe in reincarnation? “She opened her eyes.“ What kind of nonsense are you talking about here? "I rolled my eyes and stood in the middle of the room. I let it happen. I turned into the moon princess Justice in the blink of an eye. The golden glow did not fade. I stepped over to Shinko and put a hand on his shoulder. Mine Kibó awakened energy in him. He transformed. Reika's gaze was shocked. But she let herself be touched. "That can't be true! ", she breathed. I sat on the edge of the table and looked at her." I know, it's unbelievable, but Kibó and I used to be siblings. "Shinko said," Reika, I am the prince of the moon. "Reika's heart was beating faster." Why are you telling me this only now? “I got up.” Only family members of the moon know our identities! "" And why did you tell me your true identity?"I smiled when I heard his tentative proposal and Reika's acceptance, and went towards the kitchen. In the hall mirror I saw myself as a princess for the first time. I felt really beautiful. My hair fell differently than usual. Silver pearls entwined my buns and the golden crescent moon shimmered nobly. I laughed at my reflection. It laughed back. I felt good. Serenity would be Queen of Tokyo have a happy daughter, Kibó marry his beloved Reika and the Sailor Warriors were happy to serve in the future moon palace? Me I didn't know yet what I was going to do, but I knew who I was. I, Aiko Tenazawaki, was and am the daughter of the moon goddess Serenity. Knowing who I really am made my world appear perfect. I couldn't be happier.
