Chapter: Out of the building

"What are you doing there?" Said a nasty voice suddenly. Bryan, Tala and Sheila turned around. Kai's grandfather stood before them. "Oh, you know, we were just about to leave," said Sheila and wanted to go, but Kai's grandfather held her. "Tala, I didn't think you'd escape from you. Ah, haven't seen Bryan for a long time," he said. "Let go of Sheila," said Bryan sourly. "I'll leave it alone," said Kai's grandfather. He also held Bryan and Tala. All three tried to tear themselves away, but it didn't work. Kai's grandfather took her to a very small room with no windows or anything.
"I'm really looking forward to the wedding," said Trixi, turning once. Kai rolled his eyes. He thought of Sheila. "I have to get out of here," thought Kai. "We'll get married in three days," said Trixi happily. She closed the window. Kai crept quietly out of the room. He was standing in a very large corridor. He still knew his way around very well.Kai felt for something on the wall. Then he pressed something into the wall. The wall swung silently to one side, revealing a secret tunnel. Kai went inside. The wall closed again. Kai ran down the aisle. It was dark, but he still knew where to go from. He knew the tunnels from back then, because he had hidden here from his grandfather.
Sheila leaned against the stone wall. Tala saw himself or tried to look around. "Shit! What do we do now?" Asked Bryan and hit the wall. Suddenly a stone was pressed into the wall. The wall opened where Sheila was standing. The girl fell backwards into the corridor. "Bryan, what did you do?" Sheila asked. "I don't know," said Bryan. "Well at least we'll get out of here," said Tala.
"May I help you up?" Asked a fourth voice suddenly. Sheila looked up. "Kai? Is that you?" She asked. "Yes," said Kai and helped Sheila up. Tala and Bryan came now too. "Follow me," said Kai.The four of them went back down the aisle. There was silence. "Kai, I'm sorry," said Tala suddenly. "It's okay," said Kai simply. They came to the end of the hall. The wall opened again. "Let's get out of here quickly," said Bryan. Kai nodded. They finally reached the front door. Tala tried to do it too, but couldn't. "It's closed," he said. "Kai?" Trixi suddenly called from far away. "Oh no," said Kai. Sheila plucked a clip from her hair that you could never see. She put it in the keyhole and tried to crack it. "Can she do that?" Asks Tala Bryan. This nodded. Then there was a click and the door opened. The four ran out, away from the compound. They stopped running in a large market square. "Guys, thank you," gasped Kai. "We just have to get back to Japan," said Bryan. "my cousin can't help us," said Sheila. "Say, are you two actually a couple?" Tala asked suddenly.Kai and Sheila looked at each other. "Of course, don't you see that?" Bryan said simply. The other two turned red. "I would never have thought that Kai would have a girlfriend," said Tala. Kai looked like he was about to start screaming again. But Sheila gave him a kiss on the cheek ...
