It's early in the morning and I'm still sleepy in my bed. The sun comes in through my window, which is across from my bed. The window is tilted and so every now and then a small, refreshing breeze comes by that seems to mix with the warm rays of the sun.
I close my eyes and just think about how nice it is to be here, not to have school and that spring is in abundance, that everything is green and blooming and how the chirping of birds sounds lovely.
So I really feel like spring.

"Kagome?" calls a voice from below. It is a lovely woman's voice. She is very well known to me from an early age and is also very important.I will and will never forget this voice, my mother's voice is burned into my head.
Now it sounded again:
"Kagome? Come down now, there is breakfast!"
"Yes, mom, I'm coming!" I answer.

I am no longer lying in bed, but sitting. Sleepily I stretch my arms up and yawn a few more comfortably before I get up. I slowly get up and walk to the chair, which is not far from my bed, and take my dress that I picked out of the closet yesterday. It is a dark blue dress with beautiful yellow sunflowers on it.
With this dress, I'm looking for matching little socks and a hat.
After finally making up my mind what goes best with what, I go to the bathroom, shower, get dressed and comb my hair. Finally I put on my hat and then go out of the bathroom and go down the stairs to the kitchen.

Once at the bottom, the delicious smell of omelets comes into my nose.I sit down at the table with the others who have already started eating breakfast.
"Here you are at last!!" says my mom when she notices me.
"Yes, I'm sorry, but I had to say hello to spring first" I answer her.
"Yes Kagome, you sound just like your mother!" says grandpa and continues to tell:
"Whenever spring comes, your mother could no longer be relied on, instead she dreamed in the garden all day instead of working, plowing flowers and making bouquets of them.
I can still remember exactly how she laughed. "
"Oh stop it papa!" says mother with a smile on her face.
"But that is true !! There is no doubt you are mother and daughter!" replied Grandpa, poking around with a fork.
We all have to laugh and everyone was happy.

"Kagome, what are you still doing today? Are you going back to the Middle Ages to Inuyasha?" mama asks me.
"No, Inuyasha is coming today in our era!" I answer her."Today we want to spend a day in our era, because even Inuyasha gets tired from all the fighting." I still add.

We are now in a completely different era:
-in the warlike epoch, Japan-

This era is teeming with demons and dangers. Today, for a change, everything is very calm and quiet.

As usual, Inuyasha sits on a tall tree in the forest and looks into the bright blue, almost cloudless sky.
Suddenly Inuyasha gets up from the branch, jumps down without much effort and lands silently on the ground. As soon as he touches the ground, he starts to run faster and faster.
The warm wind blows on his face and in the sun his hair starts to shine beautifully.
When the fountain comes into view, it first speeds up and then all of a sudden it slows down again.
When he arrives at the fountain, he immediately climbs in and in less than 5 seconds he was gone.So he is now in the other epoch:
- Japan, the modern age-

He quickly leaves the well and makes his way to my large, almost white-colored house.
Our house is right next to a temple that grandfather always tries to protect and look after. Then there is also a fountain, right next to the temple, which hides the connection to modern times and the Middle Ages.

Inuyasha had already climbed the tree, the branches of which almost reached my room. Inuyasha jumps off the branch and lands silently in my room.

He walks slowly down the stairs and pushes the door of the kitchen open.
And now I see Inuyasha while I am taking a bite from the jam bread.// Who says it? He is there! And on time !!! // I think and am a little amazed.
Inuyasha doesn't move, however, he just stands there and looks at me, but he doesn't take his eyes off me, which makes me wonder.
// Why is he looking at me like that? Is it because of the dress? or do I have something on my face? //

After a few minutes I get up, having finished breakfast, and go to him.
"What is it? Do you have what?" I ask but he only answers:
"No nothing!"
But I can tell by his voice that he is embarrassed.
"Come on let's go upstairs ..." I step out of the kitchen and climb the stairs.
I turn around to see if he follows me.
"What is?" Inuyasha asks me.
"Oh nothing!!!" I say and wave it off.
When we get to the top, I open my room door and go inside.
I sit on the chair.
"Um, Inuyasha? I'll take a walk afterwards, and ...!",
"And what?"
"I wanted to know if you want to come with me ...!" I wait and wait for his answer ...
But Inuyasha just doesn't answer me, he looks pretty thoughtful.
Everything is so quiet, you can only hear the birds chirping from outside.
They sound as lovely as they did this morning.

The silence is broken by Inu Yasha's voice as he says:
"As far as I'm concerned! I'll come with you!"
I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised.
I was not expecting that.
I quickly go to Mommy's room and look for Inuyasha's clothes in her dressing room.
Luckily she had kept some of Dad's things !!

After about 10 minutes, I finally found something.
I quickly run to my room and hold the things out to him.
"Here, put them on!"
He takes it and says:
"Um, can you go outside please?" and turns red in the face.
"Sure, I have to get ready anyway!" I say and smile at him before leaving my room.In the meantime, I'll also get ready.
When I'm done, I go to my room, stand in front of the door and knock on her.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes!"
I open the door.

"Hm ...? Something is missing ... Oh yes ...!" I quickly go to my cloakroom.
After a long search I found it.
It's a red cap that goes well with his black shirt and dark blue pants.
I put the cap on him.
"So now you look great !!!! Do you like it too?" I ask with a smile on my face.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Inuyasha asks me.
"What?" I ask back because I didn't know what he was talking about.
"Now do I look great ?!" says Inuyasha and in his voice you can clearly hear that it makes him angry.
"Oh Inu Yasha, I mean here in the modern age you can't show your ears, and with the cap it is good to hide whether it suits you or not!" I say.
"But,....!""No buts, the cap is worn and pasta!" I say with a determined expression.
"Besides, it looks good on you!" I still add.
Inuyasha is just about to stand up when my mom came in and so he lets it go.

"Ah Inuyasha, you look cute!" she says and pinches his cheek.
Inuyasha can't move, but I don't know whether it is due to my mom's tricks or whether he wants to digest her words first.
Finally I start laughing and they both look at me.
Inuyasha looks at me in amazement at first, but then his looks become more and more angry, while my mom's looks remain puzzled.
After a while she too starts laughing and Inuyasha stands there in a daze.

We are just leaving the house when someone calls out to me:
"Kagome where are you going?"
I turn around and realize that it is my grandfather.
"I'm going to town with Inuyasha, grandfather!" I answer him.
"But I need your help for a moment!" he says, but I don't listen to him anymore and quickly leave the temple with Inu Yasha, because I know that this is just a scam so that I can't escape my "alleged" work."But now wait a minute! ..." he calls after us, but we don't react.

"Kagome, why don't you listen to your grandfather, he just needs a little help ?!" Inuyasha asks me.

Inuyasha pulls me out of my thoughts.

And so we keep walking and one store after the other comes up. Some are decorated with different plants, while others contain small souvenirs. At an ice cream stand I get a scoop of vanilla ice cream and lick it happily while we walk on.
Up until now I have always looked at Inuyasha to see if he might prefer to go home, but it doesn't seem so, almost the opposite, he seems
