Chapter: Guest or not guest?

It's Sunday. Linh and Serafin are sitting in the café. You met to talk about the current situation.
“Lately, you've rarely had time for me. I think that's a shame, "says Serafin.
,,Yes I know. Sorry, but I just had a lot to do. I'm late in the week anyway because I have to work. "
“But otherwise you still came by afterwards. I think you spend too much time learning about Kai and Fiore. "

For a brief moment, Serafin is relieved. She can finally do something with Linh again. But then the girl utters an idea that Serafin doesn't like.

The two friends go home together. They then separate at an intersection. Suddenly Linh sees Kai sitting in front of a house. Could he live there? Quite lost in thought, Kai doesn't notice Linh approaching him.

"I don't know," says Linh.
Kai certainly doesn't agree, but she doesn't want to be overly rude either. So the girl accepts the invitation.

Inside the house there is a set table. An older woman, a younger and an older man are sitting next to him. The woman quickly runs into the kitchen to get a plate and cutlery."Have a seat," the younger man asks.
But she waits until Kai sits down and then takes a seat next to him. She can tell from him that he is not too happy about her invitation. The boy doesn't look at her. He looks dully at his plate and eats.
"Kai, don't you want to introduce them to us? "asks the older man.
Kai doesn't look at him.
"Her name is Linh."
,, So Linh. What would you rather have? A strawberry cake or one with tangerines? "asks the younger woman.
"Um ... could I get a piece of the strawberry cake, please?"
“Do you go to a class? "asks the older woman.
"Yes," replies Kai without looking up.
Suddenly he gets up and wants to go.
"Kai, you can't just let your guest sit here," says the younger man indignantly.
"She is not my guest", contradicts Kai in a cool voice before he leaves the house.

,,I am sorry. I want to apologize for my son's behavior, "says the younger woman, Kai's mother."Oh, that's okay."
"May I ask you something, Linh? "asks Kai's mother.

Thoughtful, Linh makes his way home. Why is Kai so strange? He behaves like this even in front of his family. Or was it because of her because she was there? But Kai's family is really worried about him. They looked quite relieved and happy when they heard about Kai's current situation at school, even if it wasn't exactly the truth.

The next day at school these three girls, Dana, Cristel and Martina, approach Linh again. You have a big grin on your face.

Linh doesn't say a word. She looks at the ground. Serafin understands immediately.

The school bell saves Linh from the situation. The girls go into the school building in silence. Your teacher, Ms. Raps, is already waiting in the classroom. After everyone is there, she starts her announcement.
