Chapter: Beginning

Lanos. A world full of magic and wonder, populated by wise elves, burly dwarfs, brave people, lovable fairies and cruel monsters. A place shaped by wondrous countries, proud kingdoms, murderous mountains and dark forests. But long before humans or monsters existed, two goddesses existed. The one with the name Karni, which has the power of good, and Somas, with the power of evil. They were like fire and water, ebb and flow, ying and yang. One couldn't do without the other. Which, in turn, was a big problem because they hated each other. They fought each other day after day, but without much success. So they decided that if they couldn't win the fight, then others should do it for them. So Somas created the monsters from a hair that she pulled out. Karni from a tear, humans and all other living beings. Somas was outraged that Karni had created more beings than she did, so she stained 1/3 of them with her blood.Which in turn had the consequence that these beings became emotionally cold.
Until today it has not been decided who is better. Since neither good nor bad is able to conquer.
