Chapter 01 - She just wanted to know about her family

She sat in her house, waiting for the one invited, but he did not come. An hour had passed, he should have been here a long time ago, she was still waiting. She finally heard someone on her doorstep. Then she jumped off the sofa and ran to the door. She looked out, but there was no one there. She made herself comfortable on the sofa again, continued waiting. After a while she began to think that something might have happened, but she didn't want to think about it any further and looked for a distraction. Shortly afterwards she found something, it was a book about her ancestors. She had long wanted to know something about her ancestors, kept looking to see if she had something, but found nothing. And here it was, here was the book she had been looking for so long, she could hardly believe it. Sitting comfortably and relaxed on the sofa again, she looked at the book. Her father died a few weeks before she was born, her mother only shortly after the birth. She grew up with her big brother and didn't meet any other family member.But she hadn't seen her brother for a few years either. Before opening the book, she examined the cover carefully. The book looked very old. It was. The individual, handwritten pages also made a pretty old impression. Some pages just hung loosely in the waistband. When she started reading the book an ice-cold shiver ran down her spine, there was something eerie about the book. Still she read on. After a short time she was lost in the book that she totally forgot the time around her. A few hours later she checked her watch again, meanwhile 4 hours had passed since he should have been here. She got more and more worried. A moment later she put the book aside and got up from the comfortable sofa. She took off her shoes, just wanted to go to look for him, but there he was standing in front of her door. She looked at him in amazement because he was actually more than 4 hours late. He didn't give her a reason, just hoped that she would understand - but what if she didn't know the reason?Only a few minutes later, he said that he had to leave again because he didn't want to put her in danger. She asked what was going on, why he said he would put her in danger if he didn't leave. They would look for him, and they would certainly find him, he answered. What did he mean? She didn't know, so she asked. He's being chased by a secret organization, he doesn't know why, just that they kill everyone he tells about it. Now it was too late, they would kill the girl too, he didn't want that, why did he tell her something about it after all? He didn't know what to do anymore. How was he supposed to protect her from them when he couldn't defend himself either?
