A day with Kinae

Since Aika had left, Xena had become a lot happier and more relaxed. That is, as always.
She laughed again and talked more than the others together. And all the while she never let go of Sasuke's hand. Not once.
Kakashi was glad that Xena was back to business. And he wondered why Aika had left so suddenly.
But in the end it didn't really matter to him.
They ran until late in the evening, then Xena wailed more and more. And Hinata looked pretty exhausted too. So they stopped.
They ate their supper by the warming campfire. And Neji thought of Aika ...

"Man, don't you see. I'm sick!" said Naruto and his voice sounded thick.
"Yes, yes ..." said Aika, standing in front of Naruto and looking at her feet. For some reason it reminded Naruto of Hinata the way she used to stand in front of him. "Naruto ..." Aika started and looked up.
"I think ... I think it's a bad idea ..." Naruto cut her off."I know what you want to say. I understand." said Naruto, looking kind of disappointed.
"You may not remember ..." And by that he didn't mean maybe. "But it was a good time with you." said Naruto.
He started to close the door.
"Have fun with Neji." he said muffled and the door closed. There was a dull stinging in Aika's stomach.
Every cell in her body tells her it was wrong. But there was no way she wanted to hear it.
She turned and ran home.
That one voice screamed in her head."Go back !! Turn around again !!!! Don't go !!!"But Aika just ignored it.
And went.
Xena was gone the night. That was more than right for Aika. The morning sun rose reddish.
It was now the beginning of September and the trees were slowly losing their leaves.
Aika got up and trundled into the kitchen for breakfast. Just after ten o'clock the doorbell rang. Aika opened it.Kinae stood in front of her. "How do you know where I live?" Aika asked confused.
"A nice, blonde girl showed me the way" said Kinae and pulled Aika out with her.
Aika followed her without resistance and made up her mind never to trust Ino again.
Kinae almost hopped down the path, so happy were her steps.
She ran in front of Aika and, like the day before, led her over paths and alleys, into the forest, and out again. Until they came to a stone landscape through which a peaceful stream meandered.
"Come along." said Kinae excitedly and led Aika along the stream. The brook became a brook, the brook became a river and the river became a raging mountain river.
Then the water fell down in a waterfall.
At the edge of it grew trees and bushes. Then Kinae pointed to the spot directly above the waterfall.
There were butterflies and many other colorful insects. It looked really nice."Tell me what do you do all day?" asked Aika. "I look around the area, and then I show my friends the most beautiful places. So you." returned Kinae and watched the planes over the water.
They talked and talked about butterflies, about everything.
The sun was setting and Kinae straightened up before disappearing entirely.
"Today you come to me." she said resolutely and Aika followed her.
They ran through the forest. When they arrived at a relatively large, old-looking house, an old woman was waiting for them there.
"She always does." Kinae whispered to her friend. This nodded.
"Kinae! Where have you been again?" called the old woman.
"I was out with a friend, grandma." Kinae called back loudly and began to run, Aika also quickened her pace.
"Oh hello!" greeted the apparent grandmother of Kinae. She was talking too loud and her voice was scratchy. Aika introduced herself politely and Kinae led her into the house.Without paying much attention to the young woman who worked in the kitchen, Kinae took Aika with her to the second floor. She pulled Aika into her room.
A bed was in the corner and a desk and a chair, Aika could discover. And a lot of clutter because of the boxes that were everywhere.
"Sorry. It looks awful." Kinae apologized.
"Never mind." Aika fended off and they sit down on the floor.
"The woman in the kitchen, was that your mother?" asked Aika. Kinae shook her head.
"This is my aunt, my mother died." she said and sounded more tired than sad.
"My Also." said Aika. "Where is your father?" said Aika then.
Kinae shrugged. "I have no idea, I forgot." Kinae replied and Aika envied her that she had been able to forget her father so quickly. “Is he too ...?” Aika hesitated. Kina shook her head. "No,
I just don't know where he is right now ... "Kinae said and grinned."When you arrived there was someone else with you ..." Aika remarked.
"Yes, my brother, Asmaél." said Kinae and the door was opened from the outside.
"When you speak of the devil ..." said Kinae, amused. in a young man stuck his head in the door.
Aika rate him at 17.
"Man, what did you do today, you trampling. You look like ... well. There is food." he said and closed the door again.
Aika and Kinae ran down the stairs to keep the others company while they were eating. "Is it really okay if I stay?" Aika asked and Kinae nodded.
Kinae's family was already at the table.

Aika and Kinae sat down with them. The people seemed to Aikia to be very friendly and open-minded, exactly they were.
After dinner, Aika said goodbye and returned home.
Even today, Xena did not come home.Aika thought about the feeling from last night. It was kind of weird and irritating, but it seemed so familiar ...
