Geschichten aus dem Leben
An afternoon in winter ..
Tiny snowflakes flew through the air and landed gently on her fingertip. She loves the snow, the cold, everything in this wonderful season. Most people got hectic and in a bad mood, but not them. No, she would never curse in wintry weather or the snow that turned the road a dirty gray. It was just a peaceful time and that's how it should be.
With a fascination of her own, she watched the last of the snowflake. How quickly it all passed and everything was so fascinating. For example the beautiful winter flowers. At the moment in full bloom and after a short while they would wither But what should such thoughts be? One should live in the present anyway.
That brought her back to the reason why she was traveling in the first place. Today she would finally see him. The long wait came to an end after he finally decided to meet her.How long had she talked to him? Weeks, months, years? Maybe the latter was a little exaggerated, she admitted to herself. But what was time playing? The main thing was that she had survived the fighting and that they finally saw each other. What would he say How would he behave towards her? And above all, how would it go on?
These questions occupied them on their way to the common meeting point. A look at the clock told her that she had to hurry because, as always, she left home too late and now had to rush. When will you finally learn, she said to herself. With quick steps she crossed the street and was approached unfriendly by some drivers because she had not paid attention to them in her haste.
Finally, at the end of the street, she saw the first lights of the Christmas market come on. She was here at last. The way had seemed like an eternity to her, but instead of going to the agreed place, she stopped because her legs suddenly felt heavy.Should she really dare, or should she turn back? Okay, the meeting was her idea, but did she really want it? And what if he had just agreed that she would finally give peace and that he really didn't want to be here? Did she conjure up something that should never have happened?
No, it just couldn't be like that, she reassured herself. After all, she hadn't forced him, so he was here voluntarily. Yes, that's how it had to be.
A little reassured, she checked her watch again. A few minutes over time. One would forgive her for that, after all, something like that happened quite often. With iron feet she set off and continued on her way.
He had long since seen her standing in the enlightened darkness. Lost. Lonely. Undecided. He had briefly considered whether he should go to her, but finally left it, since that way he still had time to calm down himself. He hadn't been this excited in years, but he didn't want to let it show. The whole action of a meeting was too uncertain. So much could go wrong, especially with such a fickle character as she had him.
But now, when he saw her in the crowd, he knew it was the right decision to meet her. It was fear that until now had always made him shy away from it. Much could change, but it didn't have to be. There was no way he would allow her to withdraw from him after that evening, as she had always pointed out. He just liked her too much for that.
As if in a movie, the crowd parted in front of them and now they noticed him. He saw the nervous look on her face and smiled. Apparently she felt just like him.
Slowly she came up to him and managed a weak smile. “Hello, nice to see you.” She looked shyly into his eyes. "Hello. He said no more. She said no more. There was an uncomfortable silence. They just stood opposite each other and looked at the other in silence.
What is he thinking now? She wondered, and what was this brief greeting supposed to mean? Could he or did he not want to say more? The meeting was going to be a disaster, she echoed in her head. She had imagined everything so beautifully, the greeting, the walk through the market stalls. Maybe she should just jump over her shadow and take the first step. That's what she was going to do now, she decided.
Determined, she took a step towards him and smiled, this time more sincerely and more easily than before. What was this supposed to mean? A little insecure, he shifted his position to the other leg. He knew that smile meant something, but whether it was good or bad he couldn't tell. But she looked so cute and somehow happy as she stood in front of him, a little shy and aloof. Her next words surprised him and he let out the breath he had unwittingly been holding the whole time.
“I owe you another hug, don't I?” Without waiting for his answer, she leaned over and wrapped her arms around him. Shocked, he felt her body on his and only hesitantly, he returned her caress. She smelled good, he realized. What kind of perfume did she use? He couldn't place it, but he liked it. If only they could stay that way. He didn't care if the world would end as long as it was with him.
With regret, he found that she broke away from him again. It was too good to be true. The wind brushed her loose hair and blew it into her face. With skillful movements she brushed it back. "Why are you so silent? Shouldn't I have done it?" She meant the hug, he realized. “No, that was nice.” Nice? He would have loved to bite his tongue for this comment. Nice!He couldn't think of anything better. It was too late to say anything else now anyway.
A little annoyed with himself, he turned to the entrance of the Christmas market. “Let's go.” And in a softer voice he added a low “thank you”.
Without noticing anything of his irritated expression, she smiled again and started walking. "Okay, I hope you like it here. I love this place. Every year in winter it is a must for me to come here. A tradition to describe it more precisely."
After he still didn't say anything, she just held out her arm to him. He looked at her confused. “What should I do with that?” The harshness of his words unsettled her again, but secretly she decided not to be put off. He read something in her eyes that he didn't recognize. What should he do now?
As before, she took a step towards him and hung her arm on him. "You should do that with it and now finally leave off that sullen expression. We want to have a good time together and I bet you will enjoy it too. So don't act like that. After all, after this evening you can decide whether you can take it with me again or not. "Of course she secretly hoped that he would enjoy himself and that he would finally loosen up. That would make it easier for both of them.
He wasn't grumpy at all, he told himself. On the contrary, he liked the way he hooked up and was close to him. He'd be a fool if he didn't enjoy the situation. So he tried to adjust to her relaxed mood.
"Well then, let's go. I want to see what you've always raved about." With his almost cheerful-looking face, he currently looked younger, much more youthful than he was, and she was surprised to find that she liked it. It works, she thought. "Gladly, I have to show you the booth with these fascinating pictures and of course all the other places."It was practically impossible not to get infected by her good mood. She took him to various stands, commented on individual and, in his opinion, kitschy Christmas decorations and kept telling him how much she loved Christmas markets. It was just amazing. He even started to enjoy this time of year, and only because of her. Interesting what it could do, he thought. It was definitely the right decision to come here. Would it always be like this between the two of them? He looked at her thoughtfully. Her face was slightly red from the cold, snow clung to her hair and she was beaming. He would always remember this sight when he thought of her, even if it sounded terribly cheesy to his ears.
Suddenly she had become silent, for the first time in a while, he was amused to discover. With questioning eyes she looked at him in amazement. "What's wrong? Did I say the wrong thing? You don't like it here, do you? "" No, it's nice here. "Now he even smiled at her, which piqued her interest even more." Then what is it? "A tentative smile played on her lips, which had thereby unconsciously drawn his attention. When she noticed the direction of his gaze, she blushed slightly and ran an embarrassed brush through her hair. Despite the cold, she got hot and she hoped that she would It was all just imagining. But it wasn't. Her voice failed and she stared at him in horror.
What would happen if he kissed her now? Would she shrink back? Push him away? Let it be possible? He couldn't tell, but he would find out. He lowered his face a little awkwardly and saw the slight panic in her eyes. But there was something else. Surprise. Confusion. Desire. They could talk about that later, he decided. She always loved to involve him in a discussion anyway.Should she get this one day.
He gently touched her cool lips and pulled her closer to him at the same time.
A tremor went through her body as the pressure in his mouth increased and she felt his hands on her back. What was the matter with her? She felt as if she could no longer think clearly. Actually she should defend herself indignantly, but the energy to do so was missing. And the will, she admitted to herself. She had waited too long for such a moment and now it was finally here. Instinctively she folded her hands behind his neck and finally gave in to her feelings with resignation. Just a few more seconds, she swore to herself.
But in the next moment he pulled her back again and looked into her dreamy eyes. Maybe it had been a mistake he had to pay bitterly for, but he still felt the sweetness of her lips on his. He was surprised at his boldness himself because he had never done anything like this before, but it had burned his fingers to find out how she would react to him.Why did she not say anything? Beat him or do something else. Instead, she just stood in front of him in silence, staring at the
