Tyson ran restlessly through the deep snow of Moscow, searching every street, every little hiding place in which his friend could hide. But he just couldn't find it!
// Damn it, where is Kai? It can't just have disappeared from the ground, can it? Damn it! //
"Kai! Kai, where are you? Damn it, answer it! Ka ~ ai!", Tyson shouted loudly into the area, but he got no answer. He hasn't had it for three hours, to be precise.
Tyson was already freezing. He barely felt his hands anymore, and he sneezed in a tour, but that didn't stop him from believing that Kai could show up around the next corner and forgive him.
But after another hour of futile searching, Tyson gave up and made his way back to the hotel. He had a guilty conscience, and again and again images crept into his head of Kai lying half frozen in the snow and still hoping that someone would help him.
// Forgive me, Kai, but I really can't take it anymore! I'll let the others in, maybe they'll help me ... otherwise I'll have to keep looking tomorrow! Please, please forgive me! //
But Kai had been back at the hotel for three hours. He had stormed past his confused friends without a word, had spread his boots on his way in the hallway and had run to his room to throw the door behind him with volume and lock it.And he hadn't left it since and was still struggling with his conscience.
// I just don't know what to do! Either look over it and pretend nothing has happened, or Tyson continue to open up to finally get rid of this heavy burden that oppresses my soul. Damn it...//
Depressed, Kai buried his face in his hands and sighed. He had collapsed on his bed as soon as he had entered the room and hadn't even freed himself from one of the now dried clothes, he just couldn't get himself up to do that at the moment.
He heard a knock on the door of his room.
Immediately he put on his cold, iron mask again, straightened up, and called: "Come in"
It was Ray who finally got in. The black-haired man looked worriedly at his friend and sat down next to him on the edge of the bed, which Kai - quite contrary to his habit - let happen silently.
"Hey Kai, what's the matter with you?We are used to being so silent and avoiding us a lot, but to be locked in your room for three hours, we really don't know that. Is something bothering you? ", asked Ray quietly and looked deep into the eyes of the silver-haired man.
// Yes, namely the fact that I am unable to place my trust and friendship in you, even though I want it so badly! //, thought Kai inside, but instead he answered matter-of-factly and in a very cool voice: "No, what should be?"
"I just thought ...", Ray muttered sadly and got up again.
"By the way, Tyson is still not back. Do you know where he could be?" Ray asked quietly as he turned to the door.
Kai was silent and didn't even look at him.
But in the end he answered after all, when Ray had almost thought he wouldn't get an answer anyway.
"How should I know that? If I have my way, then that idiot from Gobbler shouldn't show up at all!"Ray sighed almost imperceptibly and left the room of his peers. The tension between Kai and Tyson had been palpable for weeks, and now it seemed to have erupted. Otherwise Kai would never talk so derogatory and angry about his comrade, even if he would never admit it to himself, which wasn't surprising with Kai either.

After Ray left, Kai was still sitting silently on his bed, but now he was thinking about something else. About Tyson. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, the reality was that he was worried, very worried, about the younger one.
// Hopefully nothing happened to him ... I'm already blaming myself for just leaving him there. This clumsy clumsy gets himself into difficult situations again and again, and sometimes he can't get out without help ... STOP! Damn it, this guy hurt me so bad and what do I do? I moan after him because he has been walking around in the snow outside in this freezing cold for three hours and something could have happened to himself! That can not be true! How long have I been worried about him? He can take good care of himself! //, Kai relieved his thoughts, which were already crazy again, and got up with a jerk.
Without looking at the clock, he hastily freed himself from his clothes, threw them untidily in a corner, put on a long T-shirt, which he always used to sleep, and went to bed.
And as he had planned and hoped, after a few minutes, exhausted from the sudden outburst of emotions from the afternoon, he drifted off into the land of dreams.

Trembling, with clammy fingers, Tyson unlocked the front door. He had stumbled around for hours, now he was at the end of his tether.
Ray, startled from his daydreams by the sound of the hallway, was the first to appear in the hallway.
"Tyson, there you are at last! We were already terribly worried about you!", Ray shouted relieved and looked at his friend punishingly.Tyson was pale as death, his lips and hands blue, his whole body trembling. His otherwise bright, dark blue eyes were now dull and glassy.
"Tyson ... Hey, are you not okay? You look totally sick!" Now Ray was worried about his friend.
"Kai ...", Tyson muttered in a trembling, weak voice and wanted to stagger a step in the direction of Kai's room, but had Ray not grabbed it quickly, he would have collided with the floor, for better or worse.
"My God, Tyson, just go to bed! You have a fever!", Ray rebuked the Japanese, and dragged him to his room. There he laboriously removed Tyson's wet clothes and called a doctor to treat Tyson's fever. The Japanese had passed out and didn't notice anything, but he still mumbled the name "Kai" from time to time in confused feverish dreams.
"What about Ty, Ray?" Asked Max, who had come to Tyson's room in the meantime, worried.
"Fever. And quite a high one.I've already called a doctor, he'll be over in a few minutes. ", Ray answered in a tired, flat voice. He gently stroked the Japanese man's hot forehead.
"Then we should wait and see if it gets better or not.", Max muttered depressed and sat down on the chair. Ray nodded silently.

"Kai, how did you let yourself go and lose yourself like that? You know that I won't tolerate that! As a punishment, you won't get anything to eat for a week and you won't have any free time! Let's see if that helps you you finally learn to obey my orders! ", snarled Voltaire angrily when Kai came back after the first World Cup in Japan. He had been shamefully defeated by such a new, bloody rookie named Tyson! For that, Kai almost hated himself.
"You will never be able to submit to me, how often should I say that?" Replied Kai, annoyed, turned to the door despite the harsh order to stand still and locked himself in his room. And he only left that for a full week to get into the bathroom, which was conveniently even added to his own room. But if Voltaire thought his grandson was so easily intimidated, he was wrong. For the then twelve-year-old Russian was already hatching a new plan for how he could escape his grandfather Voltaire's prison.
// I'll join these wimpy bladers, even if it goes against the grain! They're still better than pooping here and not being able to eat! I'll make strong, terrifying bladers out of them, and whenever someone talks about them my name will be remembered because I was the one who trained them and made them what they were supposed to be! //
Kai rubbed his hands belligerently.
Yes, he would. He would leave his miserable, black life behind and start a new one. A very new one![/i]
But what happened? He had started a new life, yes, but in retrospect it wasn't all that different from his old one. Well, he was no longer pushed around and tortured all the time, but now he shooed 'his' team around as best he could. But it didn't make him feel any freer. Although he had always hoped inwardly to finally take off his mask and be able to show the real feelings, he did not succeed! He was still as freezing and stubborn as always, just couldn't build a real bond with his team.
Although he knew he could talk about anything with his team at any time, especially with Ray, the calmest and most level-headed blader in the group, Kai just couldn't find the courage to do so. He was afraid of being disappointed and hurt by his friends, whom he had taken to his heart despite everything. His life of suffering and fear went on. And there was no one there who could relieve him of a small part of his suffering, even if only for a short time, so that Kai could at least once again tighten his shoulders, which had been bent over from years of carrying, and stretch himself.#Man, am I poetic today to be able to formulate such sentences! xDD #

// No matter what I do, it's always wrong. Always! I am not allowed to cry, not show any feelings, I always have to be cold and aloof. But I don't want that anymore! I want to finally get what I've longed for for so long, security and protection. But instead of that they blaspheme me, they think I am selfish and snooty because I cannot establish contact with anyone and nobody even remotely thinks about helping me a little ... that hurts, even if I don't show it , it hurts terribly! I really don't know how long I can go on with this ... the outbreak at Tyson's today wasn't on purpose, I wasn't going
