Chapter 7 The awakening

~ Deidara POV ~

What happened? Where am I? I slowly open my eyes and first have to get used to the influence of the light, so I blink a few more times. And look around me confused. Sasori is sitting with me, is he smiling? So obvious? He must have been very worried. I still feel somehow in a trance when he holds something out to me. What's this? I take it and close my eyes for a moment to really perceive it. I look at it again and I guess you can see twinkles in your eyes all the way to the North Pole. He actually carved a figure for me, and then not even a random pattern, no, he made me. It is an accurate picture of where I sleep.It looks so cute, I can cry for joy. I give him one of my sweetest smiles.
"You thought of that, un?" only comes from my lips. I'm totally touched and you know what I'm going to take him in my arms and give him a really good cuddle. And oh who would have thought that he falls into my arms and returns this hug.
"Of course I have," he mumbled in my ear and buried his head on my shoulder again.
"How are you? What happened? I was worried Deidara!" He was actually worried? I didn't want that, but the sight of Uchiha blew my mind ... but I'm also kind of happy, after all, that means that he doesn't care about me.
"I'm always fine when I see you, un." I think a little too loud. Hopefully he didn't notice it, but I can't hope for something like that, it was really a bit loud after all. What do I do now? Oh yeah, I'll just answer the other question.But before I do that, I break the hug and sit across from him.
"Well, I shouldn't say it, but a question. What kind of job did Itachi get, un?" I say to be able to go into the topic.
"Well, as far as I know, he didn't get a job, just Hidan and Tobi." he said and pulls his right eyebrow up to the hairline.
"Why do you ask?" he adds. Should I really tell him? I'm not sure, but he'd keep it to himself.
"Well, brothers who are closely tied to us, so I saw a horde of fighting fish that supposedly came from Kisames' breeding and then a wonderful woman, un." I just say and a slight red sheen adorns my cheeks.
"Because of a woman you're going straight away? Since when is that something?" you could literally hear the curiosity and astonishment. But somehow I'm embarrassed, after all, I called Uchiha pretty.
"Well what would you do if this beautiful woman is THE Uchiha of all people, hmpf?" I say indignantly.And see that the redhead in front of me has to resist laughing.
