Chapter: The voice in the darkness ...

"Who's there?", Sakura asked into the darkness. Neji looked around intently. Shino was still sitting in his corner and looking at a couple of bugs crawling on his hand.
"Who's there?", Sakura asked again. Something about the voice sounded familiar. She peered attentively around. The room was so dark you could hardly see your hand in front of your eyes. There was a small oil lamp in her corner, but it didn't light up the whole room. The voice had come from somewhere on the left, from the darkest part here.
"Who just said that?", Neji wanted to know too.
"Shush, shut up!" Shino whispered from the corner. They waited. The only thing Sakura could hear was her breathing, as well as that of her friends. Her heart was pounding loudly. Who was back there? Just who
"Uaah !!", it made out of the darkness, Sakura saw a movement and in the next moment someone came storming out of the darkness. Blonde hair and an orange and black suit emerged from the darkness."Take them away !!! Take them away !!!!!" someone shouted.
"Naruto? !!", Sakura, Neji and Shino asked surprised. Naruto hopped up and down and tried to brush off the myriad of bugs that crawled all over him.
"Hey, stop that !!" Shino admonished as Naruto crushed the beetles.
"Then tell them to get down!" He shouted.
"I already have, but they won't jump down, you have to let them down!" Said Shino. Neji grinned slightly. Sakura looked rather confused.
"But what are you doing here un ... ??", her voice failed her when she had to think again about what Naruto had done. Her eyes filled with tears.
Naruto looked at Sakura in confusion.
"But Sakura ...", Naruto began, but could not continue. What happened? Why did Sakura suddenly expand? Why, when she saw him, he was so glad to see her again.
"What are you thinking of ?! What are you doing here and how can you even look us in the eye ?!", Sakura yelled at the confused Naruto. Naruto just looked at her in silence.
"You don't know what happened?", Neji asked after a few minutes of silence.
"What happened?" Repeated Naruto. Sakura looked up at the blonde. He looked so confused, so innocent, as he gazed so fabulously at her. Did he really not remember what had happened? But how could that be?
"You don't know ..." she whispered in disbelief.
"What do I not know?" Asked Naruto, who was slowly getting a really uneasy feeling.
Suddenly a crack of light opened in the darkness. Figures appeared in front of it. A second later something, or rather someone, was thrown into the room.
Shikamaru hit the floor with a groan. He stayed on his stomach. Neji immediately rushed over and brought him into the light. Sakura leaned over him. He looked bad, bleeding wounds everywhere, weaker ones and also quite deep. Obviously he had struggled quite a bit. His eyelids twitched and slowly he opened his eyes."How many fingers do you see?" Sakura asked, holding up three.
"Six ..." Shikamaru sighed.
"Almost!", Sakura smiled at him. The next moment he passed out again.
While Sakura was provisionally tending to Shikamaru's wounds, Neji and Shino told the confused Naruto everything that had happened.
