Chapter: At home again!

He couldn't move anymore. All the strength had drained from his body and so he now awaited his end, like the rabbit before the snake.
He was about to die ...
"Sasuke !!!", Hinata's voice penetrated his ear through the fog. The next moment Hinata appeared behind his opponent.
She ran towards him. Kamisama turned in surprise.
Suddenly a nasty grin appeared on her face. "Sweet!", She muttered and let her chain sickle fly towards Hinata.
"Careful !!", Sasuke called, but it would have been too late. If Hinata hadn't ducked at the last moment, she would most certainly be dead by now.
Instead, she kept running towards Kamisama, lashed out to strike, and finally struck.
Kamisama was thrown away. She rolled a few more yards through the grass and then lay motionless.
Sasuke smiled appreciatively at Hinata, but then it flashed behind her.
"Hinata !!!", Sasuke shouted, but this time it was really too late.The sickle chain hit Hinata in the back. Sasuke jumped up and caught the Hyuga girl before hitting the ground.
The sickle chain protruded from her back and warm blood immediately ran over his hands.
He quickly pulled out the sickle and turned it on its back.
"Hinata?" He asked carefully. Hinata looked up at him with blurry eyes. She was pale and cold.
"Hey," she mumbled very softly. Her eyes filled with tears.
"Why did you do that?", Sasuke asked and his eyes also filled with tears.
"Naruto wouldn't want anything to happen to you," she whispered. The blood still ran warm over his arm. He turned away for a moment to blink away his tears.
"Do you think Naruto would want ...", Sasuke began and stopped when he remembered something. Why didn't he think of it earlier?
He rummaged in the bag he was wearing on his belt and took out a small can. It was the healing ointment they had received from Konohamaru before they left.He carefully unscrewed the lid and a greenish, viscous substance emerged.
He dipped his fingers in it and took something out. Then he rubbed it gently over Hinata's wound. It hissed and steamed a little and the wound closed a little.
Hinata groaned and passed out. He quickly got the rest of the ointment from the jar and spread that on Hinata's wound as well. Finally it closed completely and Sasuke could breathe again.
Suddenly the fog lifted too.
And then, less than a hundred yards away, Naruto and the others appeared.
When the blonde saw that something was wrong with Hinata, he immediately stormed towards her.
"What happened ?!" he asked excitedly.
"She was injured," said Sasuke, who didn't really want to talk about the details now.
Neji came running up behind Naruto and asked: "Where? Is it bad?"
"No, the healing ointment from Tsunade fixed everything," he replied and handed Hinata to her cousin.Naruto knelt next to Neji and stared at Sasukle's arm. They were full of blood.
"Everything?" He asked.
Sasuke shrugged. "I don't think things will get bad any longer. It's enough if we take her to the hospital somewhere."
"Does that mean we're finally going home?" Lee asked happily.
"When we've found the others," said Shikamaru.
As if it had been a sign, suddenly there was a rustling in a bush and Shino came out.
Together with Sakura he supported Kakashi, who looked quite battered.
"Where's Kiba?", Yu wanted to know.
But then Gaara stepped out of the bushes and behind him, on a stretcher made of sand, lay Kiba.
Nobody moved. Everyone stared at their friend.

One week later:
Hinata woke up in a white bed. She turned her head and first saw Sakura smiling at her. Then she saw Sasuke, who had put his arm around Sakura.
"Hi, Sleeping Beauty! Welcome home! How are you?" He asked.
"What happened then?I think i should be dead? "asked the Hyuga, rubbing her head.
"Well, luckily we still had the healing ointment from Tsunade," said Sasuke and smiled.
"And the others?" Asked Hinata.
"They are all back here too. And Yu and the other are back in their village," said Sakura. They didn't want to tell Hinata about Kiba. Not yet.
"Why are you grinning like that?" Asked Hinata.
Sasuke actually grinned for a moment. He just couldn't take it anymore.
"Is something wrong with me?" Asked Hinata, feeling her face. Did she have a huge ax or something?
"On the contrary!", Sasuke said and now laughed happily at her.
"What's going on?", Hinata wanted to know now.
"Look under the covers!" Said Sakura.
Hinata threw back the covers. In the first moment she didn't understand what Sakura was talking about. But then...
