The whisper in the wind ...

Life is like night and day.
You live by day and die by night.
I didn't believe in it. The only thing that counted for me was pain, the blood on my hands, from those who once enslaved us. I was like a beast, driven by the rays of the moon.
I didn't just kill her, no. Hundreds of peoples and families lost their lives to me. I had fun with it, it was the meaning of my life. For this was my nature, that of my people - we are warriors, destined to rule over others ...
That's how I thought, and I still think so.
I now know how wrong it can be to think that way, and yet I do.

And then the day came which would mean real life and death for me at the same time.
There was something else in this bleak process called "life".
