Sai

So there I am with the sequel, as I promised you. Thanks again Inuzuka_Girl. The night after our (sometimes a bit pointless) news, I got the idea for a sequel. It will be a little different from the first part. But well, read for yourself.

It was now about a month since Sasuke and Chikako came back to Konoha and were accepted again. Both had settled in pretty well, including Sasuke. In fact, he was no longer so cold and a little more open, to everyone's amazement. But Chikako seemed to know why this was so. The Uchiha was more relaxed because he now knew that he had achieved his goal in life, to kill Itachi, and that he could now live freely. This contributed significantly to his change of character. It would stay that way if he didn't experience any setbacks that would leave him cold and numb again. However, he hadn't completely changed his character and was now like Naruto. No, you could still tell that he was THE Uchiha Sasuke.
Morning was just breaking. Sasuke was still sleeping while the woman had been on her feet for a long time. She quietly slipped into the bathroom to take a shower. Then she snuck back into their shared bedroom, or rather Sasuke's former room, and looked for clothes. When she had found this too, she went quietly into the kitchen, after making sure that the Uchiha was still asleep. But he did, and deeply and firmly.
Once in the kitchen, Chikako first made himself a cup of tea. Then she sat down at the table and drank it relaxed. Today they both had a day off as they were on a mission with Naruto and Sakura yesterday. Therefore, the woman also let the Uchiha sleep in, which he usually hardly ever did. But she just thought he deserved it. And he wouldn't wake up so quickly on his own.
A short time later she had finished her tea and she got up.She sauntered slowly to the kitchen counter to put the empty cup on it. Then she started to make breakfast to surprise the Uchiha with it. Then she crept quietly up the stairs to the room where Sasuke was still sleeping. Breathing calmly, he had half digged himself out of the blanket and kept his eyes tightly closed. With a slight smile, Chikako walked up to the sleeping man and crawled onto the bed with him. Sasuke didn't notice any of this. The woman ran her fingers lightly over the Uchiha's cheek. Still it didn't move. So the woman snuggled up to him and breathed in his ear: `` Sasuke. `` The addressee turned his head to her, but seemed to go on sleeping. Chikako looked at him confused. He wasn't that stubborn otherwise. So she stroked his exposed torso lightly. At last he seemed to come back to life as he purred softly. Chikako had to smile now.
''Wake up. I made breakfast. '' she said quietly to him. But Sasuke wasn't able to answer yet. Slowly he opened his eyes, but closed them again as it was clearly still too light for him. Chikako gently pressed him a kiss and then pulled away from him.
'Come on, you late riser. I am not waiting for you '' she said, laughing slightly.
'It's okay. I am getting up. '' Sasuke said quietly. Then he got up slowly while Chikako had already returned to the kitchen. Shortly afterwards, Sasuke also appeared, who had just pulled a T-shirt on.
'' A rare sight when you're so sleepy. 'said the woman, amused.
`` Hmm ... I was just tired. '' the Uchiha justified himself quickly and took a roll.
''I thought so. '' Chikako took a bun too. The two of them had breakfast in peace before Chikako got up to clear the table.
''I go take a shower. '' said Sasuke and then disappeared in the direction of the bathroom.He was still not fully awake and he had to change that. Suddenly Sasuke's phone rang and Chikako rushed to it and picked it up. It was sakura. She asked if they didn't want to meet today. Naruto would be there too and the pink-haired one wanted to know if Chikako and Sasuke would come too.
'' I don't know if Sasuke feels like it. '' said Chikako, but Sakura tried to persuade her. Finally she gave in and said yes. Visibly pleased, Sakura then informed her that they would meet in the forest. Then the two said goodbye and Chikako hung up. Sighing, she went up the stairs to the bedroom and sank down on the bed to wait for the Uchiha. After a short time he left the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. He saw Chikako lying on the bed and came up to her.
''What's happening? '' he wanted to know.
'' Sakura and Naruto want to meet us later. '' she told him. Now Sasuke sighed too.
`` Wasn't our presence on the mission yesterday enough for you? '' he said sarcastically and went over to his closet to look for something to wear.
''Apparently not. '' replied Chikako. `` But if you really want to. It won't get that bad after all. Even you have slowly got used to her again. ''
"Right.", Sasuke replied and finally found something to wear. With that he disappeared into the bathroom to put it on. Chikako got up after a while and followed him. Yawning, she watched him look at himself in the mirror.
'' In love with yourself as ever. '' said Chikako, laughing.
`` Well ... who doesn't love me? '' he replied with a smile.
"Tze." With that, Chikako turned away and disappeared down the stairs, but the Uchiha followed her immediately.
'So when do we want to meet them? '', asked he.
`` Well, actually right away. '' said Chikako.'' Then let's get this over with quickly. '' Sasuke sighed.
`` Oh, don't be like that. It sure will be funny. '' replied Chikako firmly and took the Uchiha by the hand. Then she pulled him towards the front door and opened it. A short time later they made their way to Naruto and Sakura. They were already waiting for them, but not alone, as the two had to find out. Sasuke raised an eyebrow.
''Who is this? '' he asked uncertainly, looking at the stranger.
''No idea. But we will surely find out in a moment. '' replied Chikako, a little surprised. She also looked puzzled at the newcomer. He had black hair and black eyes, just like Sasuke. His gaze was also the same as that of the Uchiha, unemotional. Another thing in common with Sasuke was that they were both quite revealing about their clothes. You could see his stomach pretty freely. At first glance, he had a lot in common with Sasuke. The Uchiha must have noticed this already, because he looked at the stranger suspiciously.
Finally they got to Naruto, Sakura and the other one who looked at them the same.
''Hello you two. '' Naruto greeted her immediately and came up to her.
'' Hey Naruto! '' Chikako greeted him. Sasuke just nodded confused. Who was that guy?
`` You got here quickly. '' said the blonde. Sakura waved to them happily.
`` Yeah, sure. You really wanted to meet us. '' said Chikako and went to Sakura and the other with Sasuke and Naruto. The Uchiha fixed this stranger coldly, but this did the same to him. He already didn't like him. Chikako seemed to notice the tension between the two but said nothing.
'Hi you. How are you? '' said Sakura now,
''Fine, and you? '' replied the black-haired woman. Immediately they started chatting.
Sasuke and the stranger continued to stare at each other.Naruto noticed the whole thing and wanted to lighten the mood. So he interrupted the two girls.
'' We wanted to introduce you to Sai. He added to our team when you weren't there. '' explained the blonde. So Sai, it shot through the head of the Uchiha. Immediately a smile fell on Sai's lips. What a mock smile, Sasuke thought condescendingly, but kept it to himself.
'' Uchiha Sasuke. I really wanted to meet you sometime. '' Sai said in a calm voice. Sasuke left this cold and he showed him that too.
''And why? '' he wanted to know and gave his counterpart a penetrating look. Sai kept smiling.
`` Naruto told me so much about you. '' he just said. Sasuke was still looking at him. That wasn't an answer to my question, he thought.
'Is that why you wanted to meet me? '' he then asked mockingly. And again he got no answer to his question.
`` You must be very strong if you could kill Uchiha Itachi. And you killed Orochimaru too. '' Sai only said.
BAMM! It was like a slap in the face for Sasuke, and you could see that in part. Chikako knew why. The Uchiha had actually tried to leave the whole thing behind and wanted to forget about it. He wanted to start over. But that just brought him back to the past.
Sakura, Naruto and Chikako looked from Sai to Sasuke and back again. Immediately Sasuke caught himself again and looked coldly at Sai.
''Mind your own business? '' he replied coolly. Sai's smile disappeared and what remained was his indifferent face. He passed over his question again and his gaze stayed on Chikako
'' I thought she was with Uchiha Itachi. '' he said then. Sasuke tried to suppress his rising anger.
He had made so good progress in coming to terms with the past, Chikako thought sadly. She squeezed his hand lightly, which she was still holding.The Uchiha fixed Sai with an almost fatal look. But this was not deterred. But she is with me now. '' Sasuke replied. After a while, Sai put on his fake smile again.
`` I don't know what it feels like. '' he said then. Sasuk sha questioningly at him. What did he mean again now? Should it be something with his brother again, then he would follow him straight to death.
''What? '' Chikako asked curiously. Sai looked at her now.
'' What it's like to love. '' he explained. Naruto inwardly rolled his eyes. Sakura sighed softly. The Uchiha stared coldly at him. What did he care?
'' I have no feelings. '' Sai said indifferently.
Somehow it sounds familiar to me, thought Chikako and looked at Sasuke from the side. It left him completely cold. Inwardly, he was slowly wondering what this guy wanted from him.
Meanwhile, Chikako thought that Sai and Sasuke somehow had something in common. If not more than they wanted.
`` I think you're pretty much alike. '' she said kindly to Sai. He smiled slightly at her. The Uchiha is completely different.
