Chapter: What is a ninja please?

So now she was soaked in water and stood there like a helpless little mouse that didn't know whether to eat cheese or yoghurt. Both tasted delicious! * cough * Back to the topic! Kakashi waved her over seriously and put her hands on her hips. Slowly she came closer to the ANBU leader and stole an angry look at the dog. Of course he noticed, but he didn't hold it against her. After all, she'd done enough. She shyly held the vase out to him, which he took from her and put back in its original place. Then he said in a low tone: "I already have a few new things for you. I'll register you at the academy tomorrow." With a puzzled face, she followed him into the bedroom, where he was wearing a pink and white striped top and one pulled out a pretty matching skirt. She changed quickly and of course everything fit her like a glove! Kakashi nodded satisfied and went down to the kitchen. Again she followed him like a dog to his master.

"Well, are you hungry," he asked them smiling as they stood next to the refrigerator. She nodded eagerly and the confirming growl of the stomach followed immediately afterwards. In order not to make things even more difficult for the little ones, he got instant noodle soup from the refrigerator and put it in the microwave. Not the perfect dinner, but something at least. She looked curiously through the pane of glass, which looked down at the food, and watched it spin in circles. She liked it a lot and she even took out the lazy dog, with which she had now become good friends, and showed him what was happening. Again she began to speak: "Because you were so angry earlier, you won't get anything, will you? You have to apologize first." Proud of what she had just said, she crossed her arms over her chest and grinned still inexplicable reasons to use the microwave. Kakashi just stood there speechless again and watched everything.He had to know how his - well, let's say adopted daughter ;-) - felt like assessing her behavior correctly, but she didn't seem to want to analyze his habits. Could be fine with him, for his sense of family was probably not as strong as that of other people. That in turn was due to his past, but now to mourn it .. that was not the right time.

It beeped three times and the little one was startled. Kakashi opened the device and hot steam rose from inside. When they had sat down comfortably on the couch in the living room and were eating, Noko suddenly asked: “What is a ninja?” Kakashi choked and coughed. He hadn't expected such a question. With everything, just not with it! How could she not have known what a ninja is? Strange, but there should be something like that ... He was looking for the right words. Noko briefly interrupted his thinking: "My mom always told me stories about ninjas, but she never said what a ninja is." "Didn't your mom know that," Kakashi asked. "Yes, I think so," she replied, "but she never explained it to me." "All right, I'll tell you ... in a minute ..." he said.

Together they sat on the bed in the bedroom and looked at a team photo. A boy with a cheeky expression stood in the middle, to the left a smiling girl and on the other side - no, that couldn't be - Noko switched his gaze from the photo to the man next to her, back to the photo and back to him. Wasn't there a resemblance, or was it mistaken? No, the gray hair, that damn bored expression, that could only be Kakashi! "Yes, you guessed right, but don't pay attention to the people.", He tried to persuade her. "This is what a team photo looks like. The sensei stands behind his mostly three students, all of whom are genins.But to be able to become a Genin, you must first successfully complete the academy. That's why I'm going to register you tomorrow so you can become a ninja too, or don't you want to? "She looked at him uncertainly:" What do you have to do there? "Kakashi explained," Learn, train, get stronger, learn more, train more, get stronger, gain experience, and so on. "Noko said proudly," So that means I'll get really strong, right? Then I'll show the wow who's the boss here! "She got up out of zeal. Now she grinned with full conviction. Kakashi loved it when she did that. At least one who put him in a good mood.

But in the next moment his mood went back into the deeper level. He felt dizzy again, like the one time he tried to go down the stairs. What was the matter with him? After all, he had been in the hospital and had been confirmed that everything was all right again. Was it the memories from her past that this girl carried with her? She pretty much reminded him of the rest of his team, which were always in a good mood. Only he had been the grouch again. Shit really, if he thought about it like that. He got up slowly, but was pushed down again immediately. The girl said: "You'd better stay seated. You are very pale. Are you okay?" He felt sick and couldn't move for fear that he would pass out again. “Take off your shirt, please.” He thought he hadn't heard right, but took it off anyway.

Now she pushed him back. "Close your eyes," said the girl's soft voice. He did as he was told and closed his eyes. The girl knelt on the bed next to him and made a few finger signals. Green chakra lit up briefly. With one hand she tried to calm him down by placing it on his chest.In addition she spoke softly: "Maybe that was just too much for you today. I told you to stay in bed." In the next moment she cursed herself in her thoughts as to how she could say something like that. She really wanted to speak to him well. With the other hand she ran it over his upper body. She struggled to concentrate because she didn't necessarily pay attention to the body, but more to its details ;-). But she could pull herself together if she wanted. It took a while, but she found out what was causing his discomfort.
