Chapter: How everything began

"Now come on, honey! Otherwise you will be too late! You know how far it is!", Mimiko Yamashita heard her mother calling up the stairs. "I'll be finished soon," she replied. The next moment she stormed down the stairs and wanted to get out of the door. But her mother stopped her again. "Mimi! Don't you want to eat anything? It's a long way to Konoha." Mimiko shook her head resolutely. Still, the woman held out a cheese sandwich. "So that you don't starve me," she said with a smile. She hugged her daughter and kissed her cheek before letting it go. "And take good care of yourself!" She shouted. Mimiko rolled her eyes with a grin and started walking. She waved a few times, then she was in the forest. It wasn't until she got deep into the undergrowth that she began to eat. She looked around: apart from the forest animals and plants there was nothing to be seen. She hadn't been here often, but often enough to know her way around.
So she was on her way to Konoha - but why? She wanted to improve her ninja training and take the Chunin selection exams. And where should she be staying? With her father. To the son of the White Fang of Konoha. Now all she had to do was make him understand that she was his daughter. Otherwise she would have to travel back again. And that was uncomfortable. Assuming she would arrive safely at all.
