Black-Wolves

Die Bösen
Translation

Sleep well.

I woke up early. The sun just let its first rays run free. I turned to Oskar in the car. He looked at me with a grin and had to hold back to keep from laughing. "What's so funny?" I asked him sleepily and stretched. “You look like you've made your way through the night.” He chuckled. I pulled down the sun visor. Now I had to laugh too, my hair was in all directions. My face was puckered and had a few prints on it. "Ok, you're right." Said giggling and took a comb out of my suit. "Are you lugging a comb around with you?" he said half-questioningly with a stunned face. “What do you expect from a woman?” He just shook his head and focused again on the road. "Where are we actually?" I asked him and drank coffee. "North Dakota. Somewhere in the middle. We'll cross the border to Canada today." He said last he had only mumbled. Only now did I see how tired he was. Deep dark circles under the eyes seemed to be burned in under his eyes. His face was pale and his demeanor was short. "Stop." "Why?" "Stop. You urgently need sleep." I said bitingly and made sure with my gaze that he pulled over to the right and got out. I climbed into the driver's seat inside and waited until he got back in too.

Shortly after I drove off, he was asleep. There was a satisfied smile on his lips, which made me smile too. I accelerated and we drove faster. I finally wanted to be in Canada. But first we had to get another car, but for now it could sleep. It was quiet on the drive. So I could think a little about my life. Actually, it wasn't that bad for me. Of course, I am a mass murderer and I am ruthless. But at the same time I found my smile again and a good friend. My heart was beating full in my chest and made for an incredible calm, at the moment I was just fine. When we got to the border, I woke Oskar. "Get up, honey," I said with a laugh and nudged him. He looked a lot better. The dark circles were almost completely gone and he looked more alive. "We have to get another car. Otherwise we will attract attention." I said worried. He just nodded and we found what we were looking for in a rest stop parking lot. A Nissan Note. Nothing special, but a more mobile one. Before the theft was even noticed, we had crossed the line. We got through the control, but they didn't stop us. So we were relatively difficult to spot in the crowd. We drove through Canada as fast as we could. Oskar drove and I got myself some sleep for the evening. When I woke up this time the last rays of the sun were leaving the earth. “Stop, I'm driving tonight, you need more sleep.” I said Scharf and got him to switch to me, but he didn't fall asleep.

"Tell me, how are you feeling right now, are you happy?" he asked me and looked at me with an unreadable expression in his eyes. "As stupid as it sounds but I'm happy right now. I have a job, I can laugh and relax. What more could you want, once I've made a new friend and I'm not alone." I said and a smile fell on my lips. "And you?" I asked back. "Well, I provoked the question. Actually, too, we are being hunted, but I have my peace and quiet and am not alone, that's enough for me." He whispered. Then he leaned over and kissed my cheek, and my head immediately turned the color of a tomato. "You're cute when you're embarrassed," he said with a smile. I shook my head and struggled to compose myself. "What was that supposed to be?" I finally asked, snappy but smiling. "I was bored," he replied, grinning all over his face. I shook my head. One of those. “Sleep now or I'll make sure of it.” I still growled with a smile.
He could really make you angry. "No, I don't even think about it." He teased me. "Hey, you've changed quite a bit. Where did the arrogant ice-cold guy go because I liked him so much." I stuck my tongue out at him. “I don't know.” He said with a laugh. "I just feel very comfortable with you, it's like melting the ice that has wrapped around my heart. But you do too." "Yes, I feel good. I have a job and, above all, had to." not mark the strength, but can be the way I used to be. You should have seen me two years ago. I was a happy and sometimes shy girl, but I was warm. "I thought and wondered why I was telling him this now. "I would have liked to see that," he said with a laugh.

Then we were silent, it was a pleasant silence. We didn't mind. Only when my breathing calmed down next to me did I notice that Oskar had fallen asleep. So I had the rest of the night to myself. I touched my cheek where he'd kissed me. I was ashamed of the thought, but I wasn't uncomfortable with this kiss, on the contrary, I had enjoyed it even if it only lasted for two seconds. When the sun came up we switched places and I slept again.

I know it didn't turn out that well. I can not think of anything more. I don't know yet whether I'll take a break or continue writing.
Well, as always,
