A girl named "dance" ....
The sun was just finding its way over the high-rise buildings of Osaka. Bemoku Sen struggled out of bed with deep dark circles under his eyes. Just a couple of hours of sleep again. He slowly dragged himself into the tiny bathroom and showered. Then he dragged himself in the direction of the closet and quickly put on his school uniform. How he hated that black thing.
"Moku-kun, breakfast!" called his grandmother and Bemoku hurried. As always, his hair was in all directions when he appeared for breakfast. "Moku, can't you even comb your hair?" his grandfather asked lovingly, ruffling his hair. "Hm." Was all that Bemoku got out of it. He quickly stuffed something in his mouth, packed his school bag and left the tiny house that was something like a little oasis between all the skyscrapers.
He crossed the street and just caught the bus. "Hey sleepyhead!" shouted his best friend Takeru, even if he was more of a school friend because Bemoku never had much time. He collapsed into one of the gray seats next to his friend. "And did you learn?" Takeru asked, running his hair up with gel. "For what? ... On no, we're not writing in English today ?!" Bemoku exclaimed indignantly. "You also have to sleep through everything. You know that it is really harder if you screw up another job." Moku hung his head and closed his tired eyes for a short moment.
Bemoku was just sitting over his characters. He'd get a six in English. His head got heavy and seconds later, Bemoku was sound asleep. He didn't notice that his teacher approached him. Only when the laughter got so loud in his class that he woke up did he look into his teacher's eyes. “Good morning, Sen-kun,” growled his teacher, Saito-sensei. His gaze was stern and bad. Instead of punishing him, however, the teacher turned and continued with the class.
Finally he could leave the classroom for the last time, Bemoku thought and was already on his way towards the door when his teacher called him over. “Sen-kun, would you come please, the director would like to speak to you.” Bemoku hung his head and followed his Sensei into the director's office.
“I heard you have some problems in class.” Said the principal and sat back in his chair while Moku stared at the floor with his head down. "We want you to get tutoring. And before you say something, it's actually none of my business, but I can see that you are very intelligent, but you can't use that, something like that worries me." Bemoku raised his head and looked at the director, confused, what was that supposed to mean?
"That's why I did a little research. You work all day and night, don't you?" Bemoku nodded tiredly, but hoped to get out of this matter safely.“Mai-chan, come in please.” A girl, also sixteen, entered the office and looked almost anxiously around Bemoku, a teacher and the principal. A satisfied smile crossed the director's face.
"May I introduce, this is your tutor, Kitamoto Mai. And Mai, this is your student, Sen Bemoku, bring him to his full potential." Moku looked at Mai suspiciously. Then he respectfully said goodbye to the director and made his way towards the exit.
He heard Mai saying goodbye and her hasty steps to catch up with him. "Hey wait for me!" she called and jogged beside him. Suddenly he just wanted to get out of this house, which sometimes seemed like a cage to him. "Hey, where do you want me to tutor you?" she asked him, breathing heavily, while Moku attacked the last stairs in the direction of the exit. "Nowhere!" he growled and kept walking. "Hey, but the director said we should start right away!" she called and ran after him. Suddenly Moku stopped and turned around. Mai ran right into him and almost fell if Bemoku hadn't grabbed her arm. "Listen to me too little-" "My name is Mai." "It won't work, I don't have time for such childish things." He said coldly and a shiver made its way over the back of corn.
She grimaced and Bemoku suddenly felt guilty. "Listen to me. I'm sorry, but I have to work all day and have no time to study," he said in a gentle tone. Mai looked at him briefly, confused. Why did he work all day? She asked herself. She straightened up and finally nodded. “But we should meet anyway.” She said, but Bemoku had already turned away and was jogging towards the bus stop so as not to miss his bus. Mai sighed and shook his head, what kind of boy was that.
Bemoku got off the bus and jogged across the street, he was late and if he didn't want to disappoint his customers he had to hurry up. He dashed into his room, swapped his uniform for jeans and a T-shirt, and dashed into the kitchen. There he snatched up the takoyaki balls and filled them into the bins of his mobile shop, then jogged with his drive shop to the nearest park and stood there in his place.
It was ten o'clock and Bemoku was packing up. Business had gone relatively well and they had made a profit, at least he could do math. But he quickly stopped this thought, after all he did it for his grandparents. However, his thoughts were on an encounter. Mai had been there and literally forced him to study.
Flashback
Bemoku was selling a takoyaki ball when a young girl appeared in the park and walked purposefully towards him. At first he didn't pay any attention to her, his business was going pretty well right now and he didn't have the time to take care of it.The girl stood aside and waited until there was no more line at the Takoyaki stand. "Moku-kun, so I found you." She said and stood directly in front of him, only now did he really recognize her.
May. "What can I do for you?" he asked politely aloof. He seemed strange to her, hadn't she called him Moku-kun. That's what his grandparents called him. Mai frowned. "Now listen to me! I traveled all over town because of you until I finally found your home, and what awaited me, your grandparents who have no clue where you are. I asked my way through the entire neighborhood until I finally found you! " she screamed, her eyes sparkling like black emeralds in the sunlight.
Bemoku couldn't help but grin. She was kind of cute. "And now, you actually ask me what I want from you!" that came out an octave higher. "Why I ask that, I have no idea. Why do you want to teach me something, I'm a hopeless case." The black-haired woman looked at him indignantly for a few seconds. Then her eyes turned cold, almost arrogant. "Watch out, we are both dependent on each other." - she raised her hands as Bemoku wanted to contradict - "Listen to me. The director is my uncle and he promised me that I can travel to Tokyo. You have to do a lot better for that Ok. And you'll be kicked out of school if you don't get better. "Bemoku looked at her in shock.
That's why the director was so nice to her. So she was a selfish beast. He clapped his teeth, inside he was boiling. Because of sweet, a beast! Moku really had to travel together. "OK Kitamoto-san, let's do a floorboard then." He said, his tone now sneering. Mai frowned. "Ok, we do it like this, you are here every day as far as I know, so I always come at five when business is bad and we do an hour of tutoring." Without waiting for his answer, Mai simply disappeared.
Flashback end
If he actually had a hallway with a girl about to, he shuddered to learn. He still couldn't believe it. He was almost stunned.
He ran home and threw himself tired into bed. So tomorrow he had tutoring.
