Please don`t say "You are crazy!"
What the fuck?!
The sun had just set when it began to rain in Rebeena Te Raar, the city of angels. Tired, tousled heads peered out of the window, many a trader began to open his shop or booth and the students of Angel High went to the main building for breakfast. One of the young angels who pushed through the portal excitedly and eagerly for the dawning was Chelinka. She was a 3rd grader and only 13 years old. That made her one of the youngest, since most of the Angel High students were 100 or so. Only Chelinka and a group of other angels were below the 100th limit (which Chelinka regretted very much). But, the icing is still missing:
Chelinka was the only one on the entire Angel high who didn't know a bit of magic !!! And that spoke for itself, didn't it? Reason enough for their classmates to poke at them at every suitable opportunity. Chelinka did not even have an angel light (a special, unique ability that one receives at the minimum age of 6 years). Only Chika, her friend since childhood, stayed by her side and protected her from the mocking looks. And there is Shugon-Sa, Chelinka's body and her constant companion, friend and mother substitute, since Chelinka's mother was preoccupied with more important things than her. Even so, Chelinka had only seen her mother once and that was when she woke up from her coma and her mother was sitting by her bed. According to the scraps of memories floating around in her head, her mother must be a beautiful woman. But, Chelinka didn't know for sure.
When everyone was seated at the huge tables and calm had returned, the headmistress, Minto Lara, got up and smiled at the new day, as she did every morning. "Good morning my loves!" she greeted the boy angels and took turns to see that everyone was listening to her. "Before you start your breakfast, I would like to tell you something: In the hours that follow, your class teachers will read out the list with the protégés and the respective angel. I therefore ask for discipline and decency. And one more thing: the protégés cannot meet be selected or changed, since each protégé has a massive connection to his angel. And that from birth. So, as soon as you have received your protégé, you leave the classroom and pack your things. We meet at the beginning of dusk Then everyone back here. Got it? ”A swelling, excited murmur indicated that everyone had understood. "Well, then I don't want to bother you any longer! Skin clean!" with these words, Minto Lara sat down and the chatter of the students swelled to an enormous volume. Chika poked Chelinka in the ribs. "What do you mean, you have a boy or a girl?" he asked curiously and his poppy-red eyes flashed while he fought over a mango."I do not know." replied Chelinka and bit into an apple, "But I hope a girl." "Hm!" it came from Chika approvingly, but suddenly his posture tightened. "What..?" Chelinka got no further, because at that moment she noticed what attracted her friend's attention. A group of black-clad angels had just entered the hall and Minto Lara had jumped up to greet them. Next to the woman at the head of the group, the headmistress looked like a child. She was talking excitedly with the woman, whose eyes wandered around the hall. And then Chelinka realized who this woman was.
Her mother hadn't changed a bit in the six years:
The purple hair was back length and her face was still white as snow. But it seemed older to Chelinka than when she was in the hospital. Back then, six years ago.
° Does she still remember me? ° thought Chelinka and chewed her lower lip. The others in the hall fell silent when they noticed the black women. They couldn't be blamed for that, because the women were the "advice of the unspeakable". In Rebeena Te Raar the council had an even higher position than the queen. The council members were all over 300 and that was pretty old for angels too. But still, every member beamed with pride, beauty and youth. But especially Chelinka's mother, Lunaria, who, as Chelinka noted, looked nothing like her. ° Well. But what should you do there? ° Chelinka asked herself in silence and poked a piece of chocolate with her fork, ° She is and remains the most beautiful! °
Suddenly Lunaria turned away from the headmistress and walked, elegant as an elf, through the hall, straight towards Chelinka. But Chelinka only noticed when Chika nudged her and nodded at Lunaria. This was now directly in front of them.
"Kaa-san ..." Chelinka muttered embarrassed and blushed. All eyes were on her. Lunaria's pink eyes bored into her daughter's. Then, after an eternity of silence, she turned and left. She just went. Without a word. Chelinka stared after her in disbelief, but before she could say anything, Chika jumped up. "You be your daughter, Lunaria-sama! How you can just ignore her! You be your daughter !!!" he yelled so loudly that everyone in the hall winced. Lunaria paused for a moment, then turned and looked chika straight in the face. "It doesn't matter if she is my daughter! She has to prove herself worthy of me first!" with these words she left the hall, behind her thousands of astonished faces.
"This ... ARRGH !!!" Chika made to follow the chairman of the council, but Chelinka grabbed his belt and pulled him onto the bench next to her. Everyone was still confused by what had just happened. "Leave her, Chika." Chelinka muttered so softly that the boy almost did not understand her, "She has always been like that to me." with these words Chelinka got up and went back towards the bedrooms."Chelinka?" As always, Shugon-Sa's voice sounded reproachful, but this time Chelinka thought she heard a trace of concern. But she didn't care at the moment. She just wanted to get away from here. As soon as she entered her room, she buried her head in a huge pillow with which she had tried so often to hide her fear. It was a bit ragged by now from all the dried tears, but it was the only thing Chelinka had left of her father. She stole it from the attic eight years ago after her father disappeared. It had always been in her bed since then, next to all her cuddly toys.
When Shugon-Sa climbed onto her bed, the girl turned away from him. "Chelinka! What's going on? Lessons are about to start and I thought today would be the protégé divisions? Shugon-Sa grumbled, trying to catch a glimpse of Chelinka's face. "Go away! Leave me alone!" Chelinka sobbed and only now did the cat realize that she was crying. And if there was one thing Shugon-sa didn't like, it was Chelinka's tears. "Chelinka. What happened?" he asked, nestling his soft, shiny cat body against his mistress's belly. "You ... she was here." the girl sat up, sniffing. “About ...?” Shugon-Sa knew who was meant by 'you'. "... And?" "She said I was ... not worthy of her! And then she just left and then ... then ..." Chelinka broke off and buried her face in her pillow again. "Let me guess, then Chika jumped up and confronted her !?" Shugon-Sa finished the sentence with a shake of his head. Confirmed by the nod of his mistress, he continued: "This boy! What does he think he is who he is ?! just like that with Lun ... uhh ... dealing with her like that is a boldness ..." "It's good, old bedside rug, he only meant well! Don't always be so strict with him! " Chelinka tried to brake her body, a slight smile creeping around the corners of her mouth. "But it's like I say ... this boy has no behavior and besides ... AAAHH !!!! Chelinka! You're late !!!" Shugon-Sa shouted, pushing the girl off the bed. Then he quickly slipped into Chelinka's school bag and the two hurriedly left the room. And somehow Chelinka felt really awake now.
When she entered the classroom, the teacher had not yet appeared. But still there was an icy silence and all eyes were on her. After a few long seconds, some of her classmates began to whisper and gradually the loud chatter returned. Suddenly Chelinka felt a hand on her shoulder. Startled, she turned and looked into the face of her class teacher, Mr. Fujijama. He just smiled at her sympathetically and pushed her into class. Then he closed the door, nodded to her again, and turned to the teacher's desk. For a moment Chelinka stayed in her position, but then she thought about it and let herself fall into her seat, right next to Chika. "Hey ..." the blue-haired man began hesitantly and smiled carefully at her. "T ... I'm sorry about earlier. I just slipped out. I ..." "It's okay!" interrupted his girlfriend and smiled. "You forgot!" "Really?" "Really!" "But ..." "SHHTT!" he was interrupted again, but this time by his neighbor in the bank, who pointed out that the teacher wanted to begin. "Well, class. I have the list of your protégés here. It was given to me personally by Lunaria-sama ..." at these words he gave Chelinka a strange look, "... um ... well, she became me personally given by Lunaria-sama. So be quiet and leave the room to pack your things when you hear your name. We'll meet at dusk in the main building. " with these words he began to read out the names. More and more students got up and left the classroom until finally only a few were sitting in their seats. "Emiri ... Ino Yamanaka, ... Kito ... Michiru Arisawa, ... Chika ... Kiba Inuzuka." Chika jumped up. At the door he turned once more to Chelinka, who nodded cheerfully to him. "See you in the room!" with these words Chika disappeared through the door. Only Chelinka was still sitting in her seat. "Uhh ... Mr. Fujijama? You didn't call me at all." the girl noticed cautiously and brushed a strand of white hair from her face. "No, Chelinka, I haven't forgotten you." Her class teacher smiled and looked up from the list. "I'm just not sure if what the chairman of the council wrote for you is good." the man muttered, apparently reading the list again. "Oh, come on! It can't be that bad!" Chelinka chirped and looked expectantly at her class teacher. "Well ... good. So ... But I tell you, he is a problem child and therefore ..."
