Weakness...

She heard a shiver and startled.
Nagato was crouched on the floor, arms crossed on the bed and head resting on top of them next to her. His eyelids twitched restlessly and judging by his calm and deep breaths he slept.
Konan stood quietly, always taking care not to wake him.
Silently she got out of bed and sat down next to him.
He hadn't slept in 3 days, had watched her bed. Konan knew that he was incredibly scared that she might disappear, leave him alone… As with Yahiko….
A tear rolled down her cheek and slapped the floor with a thud.
Sure, she trusted Nagatos to act and knew that he made the right decision when it came down to it, but nevertheless, she missed her former teammate terribly.
It was only a few weeks ago that he left her alone, but it felt like an eternity in her heart!
She had been incredibly relieved that Tobi had asked them both to come to his home, but after a few hours she realized that EVERYTHING had its price.
And so they would owe him more and more ... day by day ...

The fingernails scratched the gutter.
"WHAT?!"
"I'm sorry. That's all I found out Master…. "
The familiar spirit disappeared in a cloud of smoke and Tobi was beside himself.
He cursed again loudly and his mask distorted, shortly afterwards he was gone.

Konan had meanwhile put Nagato on her bed and went outside.
Ame was just bleak. When people didn't cry, Heaven did it for them.
With her back against the wall, she peered into the darkness. She winced.
"Who's there?"
Slowly, barely noticeably, the left hand disappeared into her equipment pouch and reached for a few sheets of paper.
The night was quiet ... A shiver ran down her back.
She concentrated Chaka in her left hand and threw a sheet of paper, which formed a shuriken in the direction before the sound came.
Slowly a shadow came out and threw a ball of paper at her feet.
"You are good Konan."
A familiar voice came out.
Although she recognized the person by now, she remained tense.
Tobi now stood directly in front of her and continued:
"But you still have to learn a lot!"
The right! She could not and would not accept such a thing.
The leaves flew in the air and she made a few finger marks.
"Paper villains!"
Tobi stopped while the Shurikens came closer and closer.
Before she could realize what had happened, all the papers around Tobi were stuck in the floor.
"What the-"
Before she could speak further, she was pressed face to face against the wall.
"Next time I'm not so gentle!" Tobi hissed into her ear and vanished into thin air.
