Chapter 7 - A First Clue - A Reason for Doubt?
Sorana lay awake in her bed all night and waited for the first rays of sun to get up. She thought about everything Shinji said to her yesterday afternoon. It wasn't really that much, but one sentence had a lot of information. And she thought of Vio's words and had to realize with regret that she finally had doubts. But Vio said how she deals with it, she has to decide for herself. She sat up and looked out the window. She hadn't gone to Sousuke's that night and stayed with him as usual. Because she had doubts. Now she just had to realize whether it was simply because it was Shinji who had told her that and she actually always trusted him, or whether there was another reason. "What am I really worried about? I love Sousuke and nothing will change that. And a statement from Shinji can't change that much either." She got up and put on her Shihakusho and went out of her house to the Street in the direction of their division.
Lost in thought she went along her way, with the result that she was probably wrong Shinji and even if she had her doubts at first, she no longer thought about her but simply about her relationship with Sousuke in which they were happy, both of them. When she got to her division, she went in the direction of her small but nice office. She knew that she was here very early today and that Sousuke and Shinji would probably come later. But she had thought wrong, because Shinji was already at his division's estate. Actually he almost lived there, but Sora was still amazed to see him here so early. But something in her told her that she didn't want to talk to him. So she looked at her way again and walked along it with the intention not to let a single word come out of her lips before she passed him. But of course Sora did not go unnoticed by Shinji and so he turned to her to talk to her about yesterday again. He knew it was wrong and it was just a right moment to tell her. But what should he wait for? Should he only let his suspicions sit up when something had already happened? But in this case it wouldn't have mattered what he did because he couldn't achieve anything with Sora. "Do you have time? I need to talk to you." He asked her as Sora walked past him. However, she just closed her eyes and continued on her way. Shinji sighed a little annoyed. “I knew it would turn out like this.” He didn't want to hold up Sora any longer and so he didn't go after her, but went to his office.
Hikari was on his way to Toushiro's office. She went her way very upset because she only came home a few hours ago.Yesterday she went out with April and then met Kira, Matsumoto and Renji, which more or less both included them in their drinking spree. April had decided not to sleep for the last few hours because she was so fit and active and she also had to go to Captain Unohana and didn't want to appear there as a sleepy corpse. Hikari admired April's energy and walked with her in the direction of the 4th division. A few minutes ago she dropped April there and went on to her division. You could clearly see that she was after the last night, but she didn't want Toushiro to recognize it and so she went to his office early so that she could do her work in the meantime, without him or Matsumoto, who in her opinion probably would be today wouldn't show up at all. Yesterday she was already sitting pretty, April thought that too.
When she finally arrived at the division, she went straight to the office. At first she wanted to sleep another hour, but then she wanted to start work immediately. She hoped everything went according to plan and Toushiro wouldn't show up in the next two hours. Because after an hour of sleep and a few cups of coffee, the tiredness should hopefully be gone. But when she opened the door to the office, the shock of her life overtook her at that moment. Toushiro sat there! He was at his desk and already working. "Good morning Hikari! What are you doing here so early?" Hikari was still standing in the doorway, a bit scared. Toushiro looked at her and realized that something was wrong. "Tell me, is everything okay?" he asked Hikari. "Um, yeah well ... of course! I just slept badly." Toushiro nodded. “You look like that, too.” Hikari scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. Then she sat on the couch and took a piece of paper from the pile and began to work. "Have you already eaten something?" Toushiro asks her afterwards. “No, I haven't gotten around to it yet.” After that answer, Toushiro stood up. "I'll get something for us," he said and set off.
When Sora was finally at her small office, she saw how the door was wide open, which surprised her very much, because she usually locked it. She thought intensely whether she had forgotten to lock up yesterday at noon when she left, but could not remember exactly. Still, she was sure she had because she always locked. She walked closer to her office and looked inside to see if someone was there. Well, it wouldn't be an art to recognize something, because this office was really very small. She has had discussions with Vio because of this, as it is the same with her small office. But the one who was in her office was a little surprise for her. "Sousuke? What are you doing here?" wanted to know from her boyfriend, otherwise it was usually not his way to look for something in other people's things."Good morning Sora." He said smiling and went to her to give her a kiss. "Tomorrow, but now tell me. What are you doing here in my office?" Sora was very excited about his answer. Sousuke looked embarrassed. "Yes, well, I can't find the report from my last mission anymore, so I thought I'd take a look here since you also have reports from missions." Sora looked at him in amazement. "Yes, but only from my missions," she said. "Anyway. If you find him, can you give him to me?" he asked her. "Sure, I will." She sat down on her chair behind the table. "Sora, where were you yesterday? I've been waiting for you." Sora looked at him. That was exactly the question she didn't want to be asked. She couldn't tell him the truth, could she? No, probably not. "I wasn't doing very well. That's why I figured I'd just stay home." She hoped Sousuke would buy this from her, since she wasn't a person who could lie. Sousuke looked at her and then went to her. "Take care of yourself. I don't want you to get sick," he said and kissed her. After the kiss, Sora looked at him. "I will." "See you later, sweetie," he said and then left her office. "Yeah, see you later," she said softly to herself and sighed.
April stood at the door of her captain's office. She thought about a little more and then knocked. In response, she got a nice “Come in.” From Unohana, whereupon she opened the door and entered. "Nice to see you April. Come here and sit down." Unohana said and April did as she was told and sat down across from her captain. "You wanted to speak to me?" she asked politely. "Yes, it is about the following. I did not miss that you do not feel so comfortable in this division." April looked at Unohana. "Captain, that's not what you might think ..." but Unohana interrupted her. "I already know how it is," she said. "What many of us have noticed is that you are better suited to combat. That is also my opinion and our job is to encourage young Shinigami to be taught something and not let them wither." April saw her Taicho at. “That's why, after careful consideration, I arranged for you to be transferred to a different division April.” April's eyes were full of curiosity. She couldn't wait to see which division she was going to be in. Even if she liked the 4th Division, she was really happy to finally get somewhere where she could fight. "You're going to the 11th Division. To Captain Kenpachi Zaraki." April thought first, the name meant something to her, but she had no picture of the captain at the moment. "That was all April." "Thank you, Captain. Thanks for everything." Tomorrow morning she would start her service in the 11th Division. "And then I can finally go on missions."She said with a smile.
Usagi had just woken up and was getting ready to go to her division. She would be serving another mission today at noon. It shouldn't be a difficult mission, but rather find and destroy a few Hollows in the real world. It was a mission like many others. It had no special meaning. A duty that needs to be done and that could only make you stronger. After a short time she arrived at her division and decided to take a look at Sora. Maybe there was news from her.
Yoko also made his way to Sora's office. She was back in Soul Society since yesterday and wanted to talk to her friend. On the way there she ran into Vio, who was apparently going in the same direction as herself. "Hey, Vio!" she called to her friend. This turned around. "Hey Yoko! Nice to see you, everything okay with you?" "Of course, and with you?" asked Yoko. "Well, it works. In 6 days it will be 2 months since Hisagi just disappeared like that." "And he still hasn't contacted you since then?" Vio said no. “What are you going to do now?” “I'll go look for him.” Vio said. "What? You don't even know where to start." Yoko said. "I know, but I can't just let this sit on me. I have to do it." Yoko thought a little. "But you have to promise that you will definitely come back and that you will be careful." Vio smiled. "Promised!" she said and then stopped. "Do you want to see Sora?" Yoko asked as both of them were standing in front of Sora's office. "Yes, I wanted to see how she is." "That works out well, I just wanted to see her too. I came back from a mission yesterday and I thought I would stop by today." Then Usagi came around the corner and saw Yoko and Vio. "Usagi, hey. Aren't you on a mission today?" asked Yoko. "Yes, I did. I
