Fanfic: Triumph and Disaster
Chapter: Unusual acquaintances
Chapter 1: Unusual Acquaintances
A choked scream escaped her throat and she stumbled back a few steps. Brianna and Noelle came to her side, just as shocked and confused as Phibi, who raised her hand, briefly pointed to the six figures but let it sink again quickly.
"Um ... hi!" Said one of the guys. He had long, blond hair and bright, light blue eyes. If the girls hadn't heard his definitely masculine voice, they would probably mistake him for a woman. Next to the blondes stood a bare-chested white-haired man with a… scythe in his hand. In the foreground was a maybe 20-year-old man with orange hair and heaps of piercings on his face that didn't really improve his overall appearance. There was something dangerous about it.
Next to him stood a blue-haired woman who looked the girls up and down. She didn't look as strange as the rest of the gang, but still strange enough.
Further in the background were two other figures that you would not even notice. Both had the same expressionless look but you could tell that they were thinking hard about their situation. One had red hair and brown eyes. He looked younger and smaller, but again there was something dangerous about him that the girls couldn't really interpret. The other had long black hair that he had tied in a small braid at the nape of the neck. His eyes were black too and looked dead.
What they all had in common were the coats they wore. Floor-length, black, with a high collar and red clouds framed in white. If the clouds had friendlier colors, they would definitely be found on baby diaper packs or toilet paper, Brianna thought. Involuntarily she had to grin, drawing everyone's attention in the room. The two inconspicuous ones and the orange-haired one could really strangle you with their looks.
"What's going on?" Noelle whispered to her friend, who was still grinning. Her confused gaze flitted fearfully to the strangers and then back to Brianna.
"Head cinema." , Brianna said simply. She pulled herself together again and put on a more serious expression.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Phibi's voice was shrill and seemed extremely loud through the seconds of silence. Everyone, more or less, winced. "What ... What is this? What do you want? Who the hell are you?" She was getting angry. Her brow furrowed and she gave everyone except Brianna and Noelle a devilish look.
"Is that supposed to be a surprise party? That really isn't necessary." Noelle's excited voice was a bit out of place, but she continued to smile to herself. Nobody in the room noticed her remark.
"What," Brianna whispered to Phibi. "do five handsome guys in the apartment? And why has this never happened to me, huh? "
Phibi eyed Brianna suspiciously. But before she could reply, Noelle leaned into Brianna's ear.
"As good as you may look, Brianna, but what is wearing on your feet is a sin. Where can you buy something like that?" She shook her head and pointed to the strangers' "shoes".
"Yes, you're right! I can't even look!" Brianna demonstratively held her hand over her eyes. Noelle had to giggle.
“Girls!” Phibi's voice was loud and upset again. "Tell me, am I the only one whoseewhatis there in my apartment? Whatever stupid your shoes, sandals or whatever you call them look like. One of them has a damn scythe in it Hand! "She pointed with a gruff gesture in the direction of the white-haired man, who just grinned smugly.
"Hey, take it easy, sweetheart. These are just some freaks who are joking with us.", Brianna said and shrugged.
Phibi stared at her friend incredulously and wide-eyed. "Well, to me it looks more like they'd love to KILL!" Phibi yelled at her hysterically.
"Don't put the devil on the wall right away!" Brianna tried to calm her friend down. But she pointed again with an almost degrading gesture of the hand at those who were wearing the cloak.
"Me? Paint the devilon the wall? I think the devil has almost got us! And the reaper - thedead- is knocking on the door." . "Her finger pointed at the white-haired man again. And again he smirked smugly.
Noelle's voice rose above the arguing roosters. "Come on down again, you two! Perhaps it would be most effective to ask who you are and what you are doing here instead of imagining a horror scenario.", She looked her friends intently in the eyes.
Brianna and Phibi gave in. "Good. But then you ask her.", Brianna whispered to Noelle meekly.
Annoyed, she rolled her eyes. “Heaven Lord God.” She now turned to the group, who were a little confused about Brianna and Phibi. "So who are you? What do you want? And - the most important question - why do you wear such extremely uglyshoes?"
The orange-haired one just ignored her. “Who are you!” His voice made the girls shiver coldly. It was more of a prompt to respond than a question. He raised an eyebrow and studied all three of them with his most strange looking eyes.
Phibi got angry again. She didn't have her emotions under control very well today, but honestly, how would you react if six strangers showed up in your own living room?
“Stop, friend!” She gave him an equally dark look, which almost bordered on the impossible."This is my apartment here. Okay? What you're doing here is called trespassing! Ever heard of it? No? Anyway, you're damned lucky that I didn't call the police right away . You would look pretty old then. But if you can't answer these measly questions from her now, I'll quickly forget my goodness and grab my cell phone! "
Brianna and Noelle had never heard of Phibi such an outburst. Otherwise she always kept a cool head and didn't want to be driven crazy. Both stared at her, somewhat perplexed, as did the other six figures.
The white-haired man mumbled something incomprehensible to Noelle, like: "Wow, the little one can turn up a lot." She ignored him and continued.
“Um… thank you, Phibi.” Noelle turned again to the men and the only woman. "I will certainly not repeat the question."
"My name is Pain.", He started reluctantly, "I'm the leader of Akatsuki and unfortunately I have no idea how we got here.", He said curtly.
“Try not to distract from the shoes.” Brianna raised her index finger threateningly and looked around with interest.
“Shut up, Brianna.” In a whisper, Phibi reprimanded her for her cheeky behavior. The addressed crossed her arms and grumbled to herself. Even so, the subject was not over for her.
"Apart from that strange nameAka- whatever. Who are the others?" Noelle nodded towards the people behind Pain.
"Hi! I'm Deidara.", The blonde said immediately when Noelle pointed her finger at him, grinned stupidly and waved to make matters worse. Brianna raised an eyebrow.
The finger wandered over to the still grinning white-haired man who proudly displayed his abdominal muscles. “My name is Hidan.” He winked at the girls, who shook their heads in disgust.
"Itachi.", The black-haired man said curtly when Noelle's finger pointed at him. His voice was hypothermic and, like all his demeanor so far, expressionless.
The redhead was no different. Like Itachi, he only said; "Sasori." and turned away with crossed arms.
"And I'm Konan.", Said the blue-haired woman a little more friendly and open-minded than the rest of the group. "And who are you?"
The three girls exchanged a quick look before Noelle said, "I'm Noelle. This is Phibi." She pointed to the dark-haired woman, then to the blonde. "And this is Brianna."
“Who still wants to know how you can do that to yourself.” She pointed to the shoes.
"Man, Brianna. If you just find something like that beautiful." Phibi wasn't entirely convinced of what she said, but didn't want to listen to Brianna's shoe talk any longer. In reality, she didn't know if there was anyone in the world who would willingly put on these shoes. But it doesn't matter. She had far bigger problems than worrying about strangers and their aberrations in taste. So she turned back to Noelle and the "Akatsukis".
"Why do you actually wear such long coats? It's summer, even if it was so incredibly cold today.", Phibi asked one of the men, whose name she had forgotten. Who should be able to remember them?
"Because we always wear them! Got a problem with that?" The name comes back to her again. Hidan, or something.
“Hidan!” Pain shot him a devilish look.
"What?" He asked like a 6 year old stubborn kid. “But the little one is allowed to make a fuss here, right?” Phibi rolled her eyes. This reminded Brianna very much of a mother-daughter argument and had to start grinning again. And Noelle's mind was back in Paris and with the gay Frenchman. The three other men watched the little spectacle with interest. And Konan:
"Shut up, Hidan! If you put on a monkey show here, we'll be even deeper in the shit. Even you with your pea brain should have understood that something is wrong here. And only these three girls can tell us where we are at all have landed. "Everyone stared at the blue-haired woman, Hidan's mouth opened. Nobody had expected that this actually calm-looking woman could go crazy.
“Oh my god.” Noelle clapped her hand on the head and shook it like she was trying to make a terrible thought go away. She crossed the room towards the kitchen, leaned on the counter for a moment and looked in the cupboards for a glass.
"What's going on?" Phibi asked her. Her face twisted into a worried expression, as it always did when she realized something was wrong.
Noelle had found it in between a glass and filled it to the brim with orange juice that she had found in the refrigerator.
“Help yourself.” Phibi's voice sounded sarcastic.
“You are all really called that?” Noelle looked at the six people wearing coats and frowned. With one last sip, she finished her drink and set the glass on the counter. "Isn't that a stupid joke or something?"
Everyone shook their heads.
“What are you getting at?”
