Fanfic: Ruf des Herzens [MM - FF]
Chapter: Chapter 1
Hall oils;)
The first chap is here and has nothing to do with the other Charas, but since I have to put myself in these first places, it won't come until next Sunday ^^. So. Until then you can get used to my writing style and remember: I write your parts in narrative form. Greetings and have fun reading,
Jay

After some time, in which I had calmed down again, the rain had wiped the soldier's blood away and I was starting to freeze from the wetness, I stood up, swaying, and looked up at her. Oh well. If the only girlfriend you had at the time was a head and a half taller, you could call it "look up."
Valere grinned and looked over her shoulder for a moment, but when she looked back at me, her gaze became serious again. "They are coming.", She said and I looked at her startled. "So fast ..." I mumbled and she nodded. "Yes, so fast ...", she sighed softly and put her hands on her hips. "Come on ...", it came from her and between the footsteps of the approaching soldiers, she took my wrist and ran. "What ... what are you doing?" I wanted to know, because she wasn't just running away from anywhere. She ran towards THE EDGE OF THE PLATEUS we were on. I didn't get an answer, but I could see a grin on her face as she glanced over her shoulder again. "Duck!" She called and I obeyed her for a second. Just in time to avoid being hit by the hail of bullets that is now starting. "Jump!", Valere shouted and I lifted my head with a confused look. "What the ...-?", I got no further, because the rest was drowned out by a startled outcry on my part. We JUMP. FROM THE EDGE OF THE PLATEUS. "This is insane!" I shouted and closed my eyes and prayed that we would get down safely, which was hard to believe ... I swallowed and said my last prayer. "Well, then you know what makes me tick", Valere replied to my statement and laughed. SHE LAUGHED! What was I thinking about becoming friends with her? But we have known each other for ages and should - if we weren't about to go - it should go on.
"I'll kill you!" I swore, although I would never be able to. She laughed again and I felt myself falling more slowly. "You can open your eyes again ...", she said and I felt her grip on the upper arm. In fact, I was on solid ground again, but didn't notice it until I opened my eyes again and was amazed to see that I was still alive. "So? Do you still want to kill me?" She laughed and I started to grumble. "I'm about to ..." I muttered, looking up. There a cloudy layer of cloud obscured the view upwards. Everything was still wet from the rain. The people down here in town wouldn't care about things that fell from the sky, so I turned back to Valere. "What should we do now?" I asked desperately, since I was honestly afraid of what would happen if the soldiers got hold of us. Valere smiled and put her hand on my shoulder while she loosened the grip on the upper arm and let her hand drop again. "First of all ... we need a plan ... And then ... we have to find answers ..." she said and I just looked at her in astonishment. "A plan? I thought you HAD a plan!" I said and she just shrugged her shoulders - again she had a big grin on her face. "You know me!" She said and turned around. "Yes ... It's been way too long ..." I sighed softly and just shook my head. So I went to follow her ... "Are there any others?" I thought out loud and she shrugged her shoulders. "Possible. That's what we need to find out."
