The revelation

Everyone went pale at Jessica's corpse and Carina vomited at the thought that she had touched a corpse.

SUSI: "That can be impossible. We just talked to her. She can't be dead that long."

CARINA: "I think she's been dead a long time. She's ice cold."

SUSI: "Death has taken you. It will be the same for us if we don't seal this spirit.", She said almost desperately and sank to the ground.

CARINA: "Don't let it get you down. We just have to finish this quickly and then we can go home.", She said encouragingly.

ALICE: "What do we do with Jessica? We can't just leave her here."

CARINA: "What do you think we should do? Should we drag them out of the woods and tell the police the story about the glasses and the ghosts? They'll declare us crazy."

SUSI: "Carina is right. We could be accused of murder."

VOICE: "I was already expecting you.", An eerie voice echoed through the corridors.

The three friends looked around, startled, but could not see anything. Then her gaze fell on the dead woman. Suddenly the body disappeared, behind the body was a bloody pentagram and then the rock wall pushed aside, a passage came to light. Of course they went through, they came into a huge room, this shimmered in different colors. Just like the fireflies did.

VOICE: "Ha, ha. That you really came here, even though your girlfriend didn't survive and you humans don't normally believe in something like ghosts. That's really impressive," he sneered.

ALICE: "What do you want from us? We haven't done anything to you," she said aloud.

VOICE: "You called me and disturbed my sleep. I don't let you humans offer me such cheek. That's why I will take your souls, even if it has to be by force.", He growled formally.

ALICE: "So it was you all along. You followed and hunted us around town."

VOICE: "Ha, ha. Exactly. You don't stand a chance without your dead little friend."

CARINA: "Why shouldn't we have a chance without her?" She asked Sauer.

VOICE: "Because she had the most Spiritual Power and knows a lot about such things, so I had to get rid of her first," he laughed.

ALICE: "Come on, show yourself, we're not afraid of you," she said bravely.

SUSI: "Are you crazy? Don't provoke it yet," she whispers to Alice.

She didn't answer her friend and waited. The spirit materialized before them, it was not a human being, but a huge fiery two-tailed cat. Everyone was amazed when this ghost appeared before them.

SUSI: "Damn it. I have a cat allergy.", She said with big eyes.

CARINA: "What?"she asked incredulously.

ALICE: "That's not true at all. You have a cat at home yourself."

SUSI: "Right, but not that big," she said anxiously.

CAT SPIRIT: "Are you done arguing?" He hissed impatiently.

Everyone looked at him and noticed his hateful and murderous grin. He was standing right in front of them, full-size. You could feel that they were afraid of such a great spirit, but in order to get out of this forest they had to seal this thing and that would not be easy. Alice took the ban slip out of her pocket, wondering how to attach the ban slip to the ghost as quickly as possible. She called her friends over to consult with them, Alice apparently had an idea.
Suddenly they split up, each running in a different direction and trying to get close to the spirit, but it was able to fend them off again and again. The cat ghost was so caught up in the 'cat and mouse' game that he did not notice Alice sneaking up from behind with the ban and sticking it on one of his hind legs, which immediately sealed the ghost with a scream from this cat. Only the fog was left.

CARINA: "That was easy. That was really a good idea."

SUSI: "You call that easy? We almost ended up as cat food.", She screamed angrily.

ALICE: "I don't know, it was too easy somehow," she said incredulously.

CARINA: "You should be happy. We survived it and can finally go home.", She said happily.

But something else demanded their attention. In the darkness of the night someone suddenly began to laugh psychopathically. Fog came up and seemed to devour them, everyone closed their eyes in fear and when they opened this bathed in sweat again they were in the scene of the action, in Jessica's basement where they had performed the necromancy. And in front of or next to them she sat.

JESSICA: "Are you all right?" She asked worried.

ALICE: "Jessica! Oh my god you are alive.", She said and hugged her.

JESSICA: "Uh! Yeah?" She said confused.

CARINA: "Did we just imagine all this?"

SUSI: "Seems like it.", She said, relieved.

JESSICA: "Are you all right? Should I order the people in white coats?" She asked with an indefinable smile.

CARINA: "Are you crazy? We're not crazy."

JESSICA: "Hi, hi. What's normal? Hi, hi. Truth and madness are closer together than you think.", She said with a crazy giggle.

Susi put a worried hand on Jessica's shoulder and her surroundings dissolved, just like her friend. The skin slowly peeled off, revealing the flesh and then the bones, which then, in addition to dust, deteriorated. They all let out a horrified scream.

CARINA: "What's going on here?", she asked herself, holding her head.

Again that psychopathic laugh echoed the nonexistent black room.

SUSI: "Who are YOU !!!", she shouted desperately.

VOICE: "I am what you fear. I am what awaits you. I am what redeems you.", Whispers the eerie voice.

CARINA: "Why don't you leave us alone? You already have our girlfriend, isn't that enough for you?" She shouted, still holding her head.

VOICE: "Nobody escapes me, unless I want to. Let me play with you a little longer. Scream. Scream as loud as you can, nobody will hear you.", The voice sneered in amusement.

SUSI: "No! It can't all really happen. I want to go home.", She started to cry.

ALICE: "That can't be real."

VOICE: "It's not the reality either. You were all dead when you met me for the first time."

CARINA: "NO! NO! NO!" She shouted.

ALICE: "You are death," she said, barely audible.

TOD: "Exactly. And you will play my little game nice and good before I hand you over to hell."

ALICE: "Why the hell? We haven't done anything wrong! We're just normal girls who go to school."

DEATH: "You tried to summon spirits."

ALICE: "What's so bad about it? Summoning a ghost. We have sealed our ghost and you are welcome to have it, but let's go," she pleaded.

TOD: "Fools! Just because you caught a little demon doesn't mean that your souls have been pardoned. Every necromancy has a price. In your case it costs your soul.", She said with a laugh.

ALICE: "Please. The two are finished and you took my best friend from me too. It's easy enough !!!" she screamed and the blackness around her slowly dissolved.

They stood again in the clearing in which they had met Death with the many fireflies. The moon was still shining very brightly. From the shadows of the trees stepped a person in a robe, it was death.

DEATH: "I don't like to repeat myself. Your souls are cursed and therefore belong to the devil."

SUSI: "I don't want to die.", She howled.

CARINA: "It's all just a dream. A very bad dream."

ALICE: "Come to you! You want to go home too, pull yourself together!" She yelled at her friends.

TOD: "They will never be like they used to be, they have already got mad. Fear guides them and makes them sink more and more into the darkness. And all because you have conjured up a ghost."

ALICE: "No! Come on guys. You can't be serious. We've already lost Jessica. We can make it home," she encouraged her friends.

VOICE: "Nobody can escape this forest anymore," said a familiar voice behind Alice.

Alice looked around but saw only her two friends and Death, who lifted his head to reveal the face of her friend Jessica, which was illuminated by the moonlight.ALICE: "That can't be. You are dead.", She said, trembling slightly and sadness in her voice.

JESSICA: "Exactly. But I am DEATH."

ALICE: "Does that mean ... we're going ... no more shopping?"

JESSICA: "I'm just doing my job.", She answered without any emotion on her face.

Jessica raised her right hand and a scythe appeared out of nowhere. The scythe was a little larger than itself. The stick, like the blade, was blacker than the Darkest Darkness, on the blade were blood-red marks to be seen. Jessica ran up to her friend and swung her scythe towards Alice.

ALICE: "NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", she screamed desperately and automatically raised her hands to protect her
