Chapter 2
Damn it, the blonde cursed in his mind and sighed softly. The girl gave him a faint smile before turning to leave. He was just about to stop her to compliment her goodbye when he saw the old man. He would definitely give him hell when he saw Matt Garbon. Mainly because it was said that he was actually in his shared apartment and was oh so sick in bed there.
So the boy carefully turned around and slipped his hands back into the pockets of his coat and started walking. Oh well. In principle, Matt had felt really shit this morning, no one could say anything against it, he couldn't even get up from his bed without flinching in pain and blurring everything in front of him. No damn it, he wasn't a wimp. He didn't know what was going on himself, but normally nothing would lay him flat that quickly.
After all, he spent half of his free time doing sports. It couldn't be that he had overdone it yesterday. Sore muscles didn't kill him half the way it did this morning. Staring darkly in front of him, Matt turned the corner and unlocked the door to the apartment with his boys. He would find out what had bothered him, he was sure of that. But first, he thought with a sigh, I have to get out of here ...
"Come on YunYun! Not so lame!", The brown-haired girl had to laugh when the young camel sank to the ground, completely stacked and ready. When YunYun looked up, it looked at her as if to say: Next time, you can walk this alone!
Still smiling, she shook her head and turned back to the spring, only to get on her knees and scoop up some water with the palm of her hand and drink it. "It's your own fault if you don't drink now. Then you look at me again at home like you did before ...", Shabanu mumbled and looked at the little camel over her shoulder. There was a slight noise and the girl started laughing again. "You know as well as I that I'm right ...", she straightened up again and looked up at the desert sky. It was more cloudless and pure than it had been for a long time. The sun shone steadily down on the hot, yellowish sand and brought the feet to a boil. But for born desert people it was only pleasant, not painful. "What is that?" She wondered aloud when she looked to the side and saw a plant with beautiful flowers. "There's no such thing ...", she mumbled to herself and grinned to herself while she crouched in front of the plant and examined it carefully. "Hey, YunYun, look!", Shabanu remarked and looked up at the little camel, which was only interested in its little ears and was still lying flat. "A kharin plant ... They are extremely rare ...",
"Wuhey! That sat!", Laughed the blond boy and jumped over the gap to the next house roof, looking over his shoulder and watching the explusion. He would call it one of his masterpieces. The chaos would start soon. More precisely, within a few seconds. Chad had to be back in those, otherwise they would catch him and he didn't want that, especially because otherwise his sister would be very worried. And he didn't want that again. "So hops!" He called again and ran down the street while he heard the alarm system and wild shouts rang out from somewhere. "Soldiers ... How nice ... Just come here ...", he grinned and turned the next corner to escape them. He "knew" that he would escape because he had left some traps on his way ... A lot of traps, in fact. Only he knew her and that gave him an immense advantage. Behind him he could already hear the hasty patter of the soldiers and when he looked over his shoulder again he could see them coming around the corner. "Let's let the fun begin!" He hissed and grinned to himself as he ducked away from a hail of bullets.
"Yan! Hurry up!" Shouted the older of the brothers and had already disappeared out the door. "Yes, yes! Now don't rush me!", He replied and then shot past him. "Well, where are you?" The little one asked and grinned at the older man when Yan was already at the other end of the street. He sighed softly and just shook his head with a grin. "Just wait until I get you!", Rafael uttered, but both knew that he never meant it that way. He loved his little brother too much for that. He was also the only living relative he still had. Too often he kept coming back to it, he thought as he walked down the street with him to take him to the temple. Rafael himself had finished his training, but Yan had a few years to go. "Well, have fun then," a knowing grin graced the dark-haired man's face. Yan rolled his eyes as he turned to leave and followed the monk who had been waiting for them at the gate of the temple complex.
"I'll pick you up", Rafael assured his brother and raised his hand in parting and watched him go until he disappeared into the temple.
