Naruto was slowly waking up in excruciating pain. His body felt heavy and ached. It was also pounding in his head as if he had drunk too much sake.
It took a lot of effort to even lift his head and open his eyes.
When he was able to bring himself to it, he initially felt blinded despite the weak light. He didn't know what was wrong with him, but it filled a burning sensation in his body. A look down told him that he was sweating profusely.
He looked around wearily.
He wasn't in his cozy room ... he was in a forest, but it wasn't Kiri's forest. No, he didn't know this one.
What was going on here?
Where was he and how did the blonde get here?
Suddenly adrenaline shot through his body and with him the memory came.
Sasori.
Murder Sith.
The dream.
What did this all mean?
"Deidara," he sighed softly.
He wanted to get up, but he was too weak.
He looked around.
The forest was thick and gloomy, in some places some light penetrated through the thick branches. How long had he been passed out?
Mighty fir trees held their fan branches around him like a cage.
He tried to get up briefly and propped himself up with one hand on the tree that stood behind him. Sharp edges cut into his hand on the actually somewhat rough bark. Confused, he looked at the bark. It looked like it had been forcibly torn out in a small place and then closed again. Naruto paused. He let his hand wander slowly to the wood, grasped it and pulled on it. The bark came off easily. He was holding half the piece of wood in his hand and was suddenly startled when he found strange-looking characters carved into the wood on the inside of the bark. Nonetheless, he put the piece aside and tugged on the other half. It tore, broke and something red, glittering a lot on the stone in front of his feet, but it didn't break, it just bounced off the stone.

Confused, but at the same time interested, he picked up the little something and looked at it carefully. It was a small, transparent, red stone and looked like it was made of glass. But that was impossible, as the impact on the hard stone had proven. When rays of light fell on the stone, which was the size of a marble, but not so round and smooth, a wonderful play of red tones fell on the forest floor.

The ocean-colored eyes sparkled. He had never seen anything so beautiful. He thought for a moment, looked around and put it in his pocket. Then it started again! His heart pumping faster and Naruto gasped, gasped and finally sat down again.

There was silence for miles. There was no sound to be heard far and wide. Not a bird that warbled a song and not a rodent that scurried through the thick bushes. It was as if all the forest dwellers had left this place.
Briefly he spotted a deer, but he immediately jumped away with loud jumps when the unnatural silence was suddenly broken by a noise.
It sounded like a rattle.

A black raven flew over a high wall directly towards the palace. Below him, on a majestic bridge, two lions conspicuously followed him.
Far below him, so far that the trees looked as small as needles, stretched the vast gardens of the vampires. There were hills on which, now in summer, blood-red poppies bloomed. In the midst of the numerous flowers was an unmistakable building made of glass. Further back you could see a large forest that was teeming with poisonous snakes. There was a city on the other side of the wall. Through a mighty gate, you could enter and admire the countless houses and sights.
After his gaze fell briefly on the two lions, the raven sank elegantly onto the stony floor of the bridge and transformed into a boy.
The boy did not look at the beauty around him, none of this interested him.
If it had been up to him, he would not have set foot in the palace.
But his big brother needed an errand boy again.
A light wind came up and his jet-black hair danced over the boy's forehead. Sunbeams conjured up sparkling light reflections on the manes of the lions that followed each of his steps.
Neither the wind, nor the sun, nor the grandiose sight of the palace could elicit a movement from his face.
Around him servants hurried in a complicated dance through the entrance hall, which was only briefly interrupted for a respectful bow when they crossed his path. The tall doors at the end of the hall were opened for him by servants.

He entered the great hall and saw an older man on the throne with short black hair and blood-red eyes. In his left hand he held a beautiful rose. The light that broke from a sloping window and stuck to the pure red of the rose gave the shine of this flower the finishing touch to make it look perfect. A black panther was curled up next to the throne. As he entered the black-haired man, he raised his head and showed his pronounced fangs. The newcomer acknowledged this silent threat, for his part by consistently ignoring the powerful predator. Suddenly the big cat made a tremendous leap in the direction of the bored looker. Even while jumping, the huge body seemed to change its shape. After an elegant landing, a handsome youth was now standing on the landing. The latter gave the younger one a malicious smile as he tossed his long, black hair over his shoulder. How the one who just entered hated his older brother.

"Right on time, as I expect my son to do," said his father, turning the rose between his fingers.
The boy just nodded
"Well, little brother, had such a nice day again, huh?" uttered the long-haired boy ironically and teasingly ran his tongue over his sharp teeth.
The person addressed briefly looked at his face without changing his expression and then turned back to his father, with a look that said: `` What is he now? `
"My son, yesterday the 1st consultant successfully returned from his assignment."
He paused for a moment, cleared his throat, and then continued:
"The reason I need your presence is:
That he reported that he had used up his yohimbine and ... "He saw his eyes sharply and it looked like the red in them was glistening as he continued:
"... nobody can take care of it. That's why I just decided at short notice that YOU Sasuke do this job." He stopped turning the rose, led it to his nose, inhaled the sweet scent deeply. Then you only saw how the pure red was covered in a dark black, the petals slowly separated and fell to the ground. Slowly the red of the man's eyes darkened until they turned a deep black.
Sasuke looked at his father speechless and confused.
Had HIS father ordered HIM to do servant work?
Just because some stupid servant didn't have time to fight a snake? What else were they there for?
But as the youngest son of the clan knew, His Highness did not tolerate any contradiction. Not even from his own son. He knew exactly what would happen if you didn't obey. Which is why he left the room without saying a word. All he heard was a pleased chuckle that probably came from his brother.
When he got to the bridge, he turned into a raven again and flew away.

Sasuke was still angry.
Furious, he flew over the forest.
Out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly saw something flash.
He paused while flying and hovered in the air, then sharpened his eyes and tried to find what he had just seen. He got lucky. It looked like something in the forest was reflecting the sun's rays.
Sasuke's curiosity won and he was thrown down.
When he arrived on the dry forest floor, he took on his human form again.

Naruto leaned against a tree and tried with all his might to get up, but he couldn't. His legs buckled and an inexplicable heat had struck Naruto's body.
He couldn't explain it, but he was hot and sweating.Even the strong burning sensation that ran through his stomach couldn't cover it up.
Again he heard something rattle.
It really sounded like someone was shaking a rattle back and forth.
There were large bushes across from the blonde. When he took a closer look he noticed that the small green leaves were moving.
Suddenly you heard the rattling even more clearly and it was clear to the blonde that what was rattling had to come from the bushes.
Suddenly his vision blurred and he felt even worse than before.
He saw little black dots dancing in front of his eyes and he had to gasp. Naruto didn't know why, but something was happening to him.
He tried to sharpen his vision by squinting his eyes, but it didn't help. He raised one hand, which he did not need as a support, in front of his eyes. He saw countless fingers on his hand. Saw them a little blurry, as if he had turned a thousand times in circles. His perception seemed to be at an end. Then it rustled again. With wide eyes he stared at the bushes in front of him. In the next instant, something would come out of there. Naruto feared the worst.

Chapter 2 ends.
