Chapter 4

The warrior's low groans were slowly driving the guard insane. For an hour he had been dragging the oversized monkey around with him to finally find the room in which he should lock him up. His master was not present during this time. He said he still had to take the appropriate precautions. For him it was just a modern way of getting out of the dust. The room was in the most remote part of the underground catacombs and to get there it was a long walk. Jovo, the guard, cursed the decision not to put the monkey on a wheelbarrow now. He couldn't feel his shoulder anymore and his legs wouldn't go along for much longer either. He was not used to such exertions. He was a guard, but more of a butler level. That he had also volunteered for this work was now the stupidest decision of his life for him. Well, in the beginning everything sounded great: good working hours, a camp for the night, clothes were provided, the food tasted good too and the payment was not bad. So who wouldn't strike right away? The fact that this work had to do with physical exertion was of course kept quiet. It would also be nonsense to mention something like that. At least he didn't have to clean - not yet.

Bulma tried to calm down slowly, while Son Goku thoroughly examined the bedroom of the two. No sign of Vegeta. His clothes were still in place and you could even see the indentations in the bed where he had been. Son Goku was at a loss. Apparently he's not gone very long, but he would have let Bulma know - and he hadn't. So something couldn't be right there. But where was he? "I'll get the others. Together we can search everything faster. We'll find him, don't worry Bulma." But the inventor was worried. Vegeta has been so weird lately and Bulma was seriously thinking that he might have harmed himself. On top of that, she was pregnant. She hadn't told Vegeta yet because she had the feeling he wasn't happy about it or didn't even notice it. Trunks didn't know either, only her parents were privy to it. "What if you don't find him? What then?" Bulma burst into tears again. She put her hands in front of her face and slumped. It was just too much for her. Son Goku took her in his arms, gently stroked her back and talked to her: "Don't think about something like that now. He'll be somewhere." But somehow even Son Goku had a damn bad feeling about the whole thing.

The master looked happily at the screens and watched the Saiyajin in his desperate attempts to escape. He had already understood the seriousness of the situation, but he didn't seem to understand what exactly was wrong with him."Poor little prince." Grinned the dark figure and would have liked to laugh out loud.

The white figure had managed to sit up in the meantime. Panting, he looked more closely at his room, but the blurry vision didn't make it easy. Where was he? And how did he end up here? Was it all just a dream and any moment he would wake up in his rooms? After all, he was actually dead and had been promised that he would no longer feel any pain; but that was apparently not the case. His head hurt like hell and he didn't dare move his limbs again. What did he have? He examined his arms. He saw a puncture in the left upper arm. Had he been given drugs? Then he wouldn't feel that way now, he knew that. So it had to be something else. But what?

The little guard trotted back to his master and carried the news that he had brought the warrior to his room. “What are you going to do with him now?” The master turned to him. "Let yourself be surprised.", He just said and looked back at the screens. The guard also took a look at them. "That white thing. What's his name? Or her?" The master just started to grin and in the darkness his white flashing walkers looked more terrifying than they actually were. "That, my dear, was once a dangerous tyrant. He has exterminated countless peoples. And now look at him, how helpless he lies there and does not know what is going on in his body." The guard paused. A tyrant? The? It looks really cozy, he just thought, but didn't want to ask any further questions.
