Chapter: Harry in distress

Today it's finally back to Hogwarts and I'm a little sad about that this time, because I had a summer class with Sirius.
On the platform I also saw Ron and Ginny, who both greeted me stormily, only there was no trace of Hermione anywhere.
Sadly, I got on the train after saying goodbye to Sirius.

I sat in a compartment with Ron and Ginny and proudly told them about my vacation. Just as I was done, the door opened and Luna snuck in.
She looks at me worried and asks me if everything is okay.
I tell her everything is fine, even though I lied, but I couldn't tell Luna that I miss mine.
I told her that she can sit down with us and that she can tell us about her vacation. Luna eagerly began to tell that she had been to Spain on vacation and that she met Neville and his grandma there.
She also told us that she and Neville were now a couple and that she was happy to finally have found someone who understood her.

I'm really happy for them both, but my heart is crying out for love and Hermione.
I miss her laughter, her loving and encouraging words, her hugs, yes, I miss everything about Hermione.
I sit on the train, pensive, wondering when Hermione will come back to Hogwarts, or whether she might not come back at all.
No, Harry don't even think about that, I warn myself.

Finally the train arrives and we take the carriages up to the castle, where Dumbeldore and the other teachers are waiting.
We quickly take our seats and listen eagerly to what Dumbeldore has to say.

"Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts and, of course, a warm hello to our new students."

"Let's get to a serious topic, as you all have noticed, some students are missing, but be assured that they will appear here again in the next few weeks or days and take up their usual school life."

"So now we can start the feast!"

For some reason, however, I'm not hungry at all, which is probably also due to the fact that I ate too much on the train.
I carelessly gobble down what I have on my plate and wait for us to finally go upstairs to our dormitories.
I'm tired and just want to sleep, but it could also be that I just want to sleep in the hope that I will dream about Hermione.
Yeah, it's damn hard for me to get through the next few weeks without Hermione.
It almost breaks my heart when I see Hermione's empty space.
Sadly, I go upstairs with the others, where I immediately go to bed and fall asleep.

The next morning I decide to write Hermione a letter.
Maybe he'll cheer her up a little, I think.
But first of all, I have to struggle in Snape's class and that just doesn't suit me at all.At the front of his desk he is arrogant as ever, and if I see that correctly, he is also happy that Hermione is not there.
Bor I could punch Snape for his arrogant manner.
Oh great, now he also talks to me and wants to know how to get on with it.
He knows for sure that I'm not getting along, since I've always worked with Hermione and now he's enjoying his triumph that nothing works for me.

How I hate this guy, it's really no wonder my dad didn't like him either and kept showing him that.
After 60 endless minutes, the lesson was finally over and I was able to relax somewhat.

Fortunately, we now had fortune telling and it is so wonderful to fall asleep.
No sooner had class started than Trelawney came up to me and took my hand to read from it.
I would like to know what there is so exciting to read from my hand, except that I am the boy who survived.
As always, she begins to wrinkle her forehead and her eyes are getting bigger too.

"My poor boy, I can see that you are suffering and that you are very tense."

Well, somehow she's right, but of course I'm not telling her that.
I'm excited to see what else she sees.

"Oh, what do my eyes see here? Our dear Harry is heartbroken, bad, bad."

Yes, yes, she is good at talking, she doesn't know what it is like when you suffer and miss a loved one.
Obviously annoyed, I follow the rest of the lesson and wait for lunch to finally be served.
Menno, I'm hungry like a wolf and classes just don't end.

Finally, it was about time, I think to myself, and run into the great hall to eat.
I shovel my plate to the brim and start eating when Neville asks me if I'm really heartbroken.
I look at him with a cough and say no to him resolutely.
Sorry Neville is a good friend, but that doesn't mean I have to tell him everything.
Even Ron doesn't know that I love and miss Hermione.
When I finish eating I go upstairs and write Hermione a letter.

I quickly sat down at the desk and began to write. Hedwig, who was sitting next to me, didn't leave me for a moment and waited until I had finished before bringing the letter to Hermione.

So I start to write, but somehow I forget the words.

Dear mine,

I hope you feel better soon and come back to Hogwarts. We all miss you here and it's terribly lonely without you. Well, to be honest, not everyone misses you, there are even people who are happy that you are not there. Snape, for example, the arrogant snob thinks he can get it across and amuse her with it. I tell you, if he wasn't a teacher, it would have made a difference and that wasn't too close. But now enough of the bad things, please get well again and I'm looking forward to taking you in my arms to give you a warm hug.

Much love yours

Harry

Hedwig carefully took the letter in her beak and I watch her flutter away.
Satisfied, I lean back and close my eyes. I can clearly see Hermione smiling and hugging me, but unfortunately I have to wait for this moment and that makes me sick. Dear God, if you really exist up there, then do something so that I don't have to wait so long.
I suffer like an animal, my heart is almost tearing and I feel terribly lonely.
A tear runs down my cheeks and I look sadly at the photo album that Hagrid once gave me.

(In terms of music, I recommend Keep Bleeding love by Leona Lewis).

I wipe the tears from my face and notice that Ron is standing in the room staring at me.

"Harry is all okay with you, I mean just because you're sitting here crying."

"No Ron, nothing's alright, I miss Mine and I love her and have been for a while," I tell Ron seriously.

Ron keeps staring at me and his mouth drops down.

"You love Hermione? I mean, why are you only telling me this now?"

"Well, because I thought you might be angry because you once thought she was cute," I speak to him.

Ron assures me that he just thinks Hermione is cute and doesn't love her, he tells me that he fell in love with Parvati and that what's going on there.
So I don't have to worry about him getting in the way.
Relieved, I fall around Ron's neck and burst into tears again.
Ron listens to me patiently and tries to comfort me. How am I supposed to go without Hermione for three weeks or more?
I miss her so terribly who she sometimes annoys with her way of knowing everything better.
