Die Prophezeiung
At Akatsuki
He led me into another large room. There were seven people standing there, all men. In the middle of them stood their leader again, Pain, if I remembered correctly. I took a look at all of my new roommates. I had already met Sasori, Deidara and Hidan, the latter looking at me with a lustful grin when my gaze reached him. A tall man with green eyes was standing right next to him. You don't recognize much of his face, which was covered in scars, but he didn't seem very charming either, I would probably stay away from him. I had to resist a grin when I saw this fish person. He really looked like half human and half fish. It got harder not to laugh when I saw the plants. Should that be all serious criminals?
"TOOBI IS A GOOD BOY!", An eighth person came running into the room screaming and bumped into me.
He landed on his bottom and I looked down, perplexed.
What was that!? His whole face was covered by an orange mask.
"Tobi!", Pain said dangerously quietly and the one called got up and ran quickly to him.
"Tobi is sorry, Leader-sama!", He apologized submissively and hung his head.
"Just stand up and shut up!" Pain growled.
Immediately he did what he was told.
"Since we are now complete," his gaze wandered to Tobi, who hung his head again, "I would like us to clarify which team she should join."
"She would be in good hands with us," said the white-haired Hidan.
I looked up at Itachi, uncertain. He couldn't help thinking that I should come to that of all things.
Pain seemed to be thinking.
"She's coming to me," Itachi said simply but firmly.
"No, that would only distract you," interjected Pain.
Itachi gritted his teeth angrily and I turned pale as Hidan's grin grew dirtier.
"I'll think again. Dismiss!" He ordered.
"I'll see you again, honey," Hidan whispered and walked past me.
It ran cold down my spine.
"Oh, Itachi," Pain turned around and looked at him impassively.
"Come with me again, please."
Now I was standing here alone with Itachi's promise to be back soon. How should I find my way around here !?
"You need help?", Hidan's unpleasant voice whispered in my ear. I winced and turned around.
His purple eyes looked down at me so lustfully that it ran cold down my spine.
How fast could I get away from him?
"No, thanks. I can do it myself," I said firmly and strutted towards the exit.
"See you, little one," his hand brushed my bottom and he was gone.
I stopped indignantly.
Beside me someone cleared their throat and I jumped aside. Why did they all have to scare me so ?!
"Um ... Runa, un?", It was the blond young man who had burst into Itachi's and me earlier.
"What is it?", I was a bit confused and added my irritation from Hidan.
"I ... I just wanted to apologize to you, un," he muttered, embarrassed.
"Oh, it's okay. How should you know that? But ... Deidara?", Now I was a little embarrassed. He looked at me questioningly.
"Um ... could you ... maybe show me the way to Itachi's room?"
Now he was laughing.
"Sure, come with me, un."
I had tried to memorize the path as best I could, the next time I would know whether it had worked. I was sitting on the bed in the room and I was getting bored. I had already inquired about everything in the room and when I came across the mirror in the bathroom, I realized why they had all stared at me like that. I was still wearing Kakashi's dress. I hadn't even thought about it anymore. And only now did I realize that I didn't have it with me. But I had to get along with that, unfortunately. Again Deidara's words came to mind ...
Better stay away from Hidan.
He didn't have to tell me that extra. But that had only confirmed my suspicions that Hidan had nothing good on his mind.
Suddenly the door flew open and Itachi stomped into the room.
What was the matter with him today?
"What else did Pain want?" I asked trying to sound relaxed.
"Send me away!" He snorted angrily.
Send Itachi away ?!
"He wants me to go on a mission with Kisame and that immediately!" He got a little louder.
"But he can do me. I won't leave you here alone!" He sounded determined.
I sighed inwardly.
Why should it get better now?
"You will go," I said firmly, looking into his eyes.
He looked back a little amazed and finally sat down next to me.
"But I can't leave you here alone, with ... at," he took my hand and began to knead it restlessly.
He was so worried about me.
"I'll be fine here on my own. I promise and woe you will come back without having successfully completed the mission," I said and pulled him to me.
He kissed me passionately.
"Ok ... then I'll have to get ready to not disappoint you, right?" He asked with a smile.
It was unfair to use my light to take away his worries, but otherwise he wouldn't go. I was very much afraid of being here alone, especially after Hidan's action.
He packed his things and stopped in front of the door.
"Thank you," he said and disappeared into the corridor. Farewells were probably not for him. Maybe it's better that way.
"Runa, un?", There was a cautious knock on the door. I had just lay on his bed the rest of the day and thought about how things could go on now.
"Yes Deidara?"He opened the door and poked his head into the room.
"Um ... I wanted to ask you if you might be hungry, un?" He asked, a little embarrassed.
My stomach answered for me.
"I think so," I replied with a laugh.
He smiled and opened the door all the way.
"If you like, I'll show you the whole headquarters afterwards, un", he added.
I got up from bed and smiled gratefully at him.
"Yes, that would be good, Itachi hadn't had time for that yet. Thanks Deidara."
He grinned and turned around.
Maybe not all of them were bad here. Maybe I would make friends here and finally be able to lead a normal life?
As normal as life as the only woman among criminals could be.
