Bakura

She sat on the floor again and grinned up at him cheekily. “Do you really want to punish the one who saved your son from death?” There was scorn in her voice. He looked down at her in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
"Your guards failed!" She laughed; the Pharaoh just kept staring down at the girl in disbelief.

Dany opened her eyes. Another dream. And she never fully grasped the situation in which she was then. One thing was certain: apparently she had saved Atemu's life once. Telling Ria would do her no good; the smaller one would only say as much as necessary again. Dany had long since figured out her strategy: Ria wanted her to remember everything on her own.
But that only confused the older one even more. Instead of chronological, the memories were mixed up and always fragmentary.
She sat up and held her head. She was overwhelmed by a severe headache. Dany slipped out of bed and went downstairs to get a glass of water and a headache pill.
Outside the stars still shone in the sky; she couldn't have slept long. But when she opened the door, someone stepped out of the shadows behind her.
"Danielle!" The girl whispered in a hoarse voice. In a flash it turned around and tried to see someone in the shadows.
"What do you want from me again?" Snapped Dany; the headache became more and more unbearable.
The person opposite said nothing; however, a childish giggle could be heard. But then she got serious again: "You have to go to Egypt!"
"I beg your pardon?" Dany looked up. "What am I supposed to do there?"
"You have to go to Egypt with Yami; you'd better take Ria with you too!" She repeated without answering Dany's question.
"But..."
"The best thing would really be for you to drive without your parents!" Thought the girl, ignoring Dany's objections. "They would probably just hinder you ..."
"Hello? It's school!", Dany threw in and stared angrily into the purple eyes.
"So what? Then you go on vacation! It won't take long ...", replied the girl; she suddenly added with a giggle: "By the way, very sweet, the kiss yesterday!"
Dany's mouth fell open. In disbelief she stuttered: "How ...? What ...? You were watching us?"
The person opposite grinned, but said nothing more.
"Spanner!", Dany hissed softly and looked at the girl angrily. This one, however, giggled softly. "I'm just taking care of you!"
"But not like that!" Said Dany angrily. "Why are you doing this anyway?"
The girl shrugged. "I don't think that matters!"
Dany growled menacingly: "Why are you following me all the time?"
The girl was finally getting serious again; the grin wiped itself from her face. "Evil ... It is coming back! There is a relative of Evil in your ranks!Take care because I won't be able to do it all the time! "
With that she disappeared, leaving Dany alone with her confused thoughts.

The days passed; just like the weeks and the holidays were just around the corner. Literally kicked the front door; completely surprised Dany.
Danielle had taken care not to tell Yami or Ria about her dream and the encounter with the girl. But on the first day of the holiday she remembered what had worried her for the past few weeks.
The first days of October shed their light on earth when the holidays began. Dany woke up; the sun tickled her with its rays that passed the window. Immediately the guilt pressed on her stomach. So slowly she had to tell Ria ...
Later, the sun was already at its highest point, Dany knocked softly on Ria's door. "Yes?" Came dull from inside. Dany opened it and looked inside.
"Ria, can I talk to you?" Dany asked quietly and the smaller one looked up from her laptop and nodded. "Clear!"
Dany described everything to her again and Ria frowned after a while. "To Egypt?" She asked. "Evil is coming back?"
Ria began to brood; she seemed to be wondering who might be meant by that. Dany just stood there undecided and after a few minutes of silence asked: "Do we want to or not?"
Ria leaned back and nodded to the blanket. "Yes, that would be the best ... But you have to explain everything to Yami!"
"I am aware of that!"
Ria turned to her and said, "I'll teach Mum and Dad!"
That cleared it up between them. Now the only worry that remained was that her parents and Yami had something against it.
Dany immediately grabbed her inline skates and drove to Yami. When she got to the little house, she rang the bell and stepped nervously from one leg to the other.

Meanwhile, Ria called her mother.
"Lianne Munir!", Someone answered the other end of the line.
"Hi, Mum ..."
"Ria? What's wrong?"
"You ... um ... Dany and I, we thought we'd both be going on vacation with a friend or two now ... Do you mind?"
"And who pays you for that?" It came back cheekily.
"Well ... we thought ... you guys!", Ria said meekly and clung tighter to her cell phone.
Lianne just laughed before answering: "Okay ... where do you want to go?"
"Egypt!", Ria mumbled softly, after which there was silence.
"Okay!" Came after a while and Lianne added: "How many people should fly?"
Ria counted through briefly before she managed: "Four!"
Lianne sighed slightly, but then agreed.

The door opened and Yami stood on the threshold. "Hi, what are you doing here?", Yami asked briefly, surprised.
"Yami ... can I come in for a moment? I have something important to tell you!" Yami nodded and stepped aside.
In the living room she began to explain everything to him and Yugi, who was also there; part of that of course was that Ria was actually her sister.Yami took it at first, stunned. Still, the brothers believed her, which relieved her. Both were even looking forward to the trip to Egypt.
When Dany left the house, it was evening. The moon was bright in the sky and illuminated the earth. Beside him the stars twinkled in competition.
She rolled slowly down the street, not realizing anyone was following her. The man followed the black-haired woman with quick but quiet steps. Dany didn't notice him until she turned a corner. She saw his shadow out of the corner of her eye. At first she thought he was just walking in the same direction, but when he was still behind her after five minutes, she got eerie.
She no longer paid any attention to the surroundings; she just wanted to get away. But in doing so she overlooked a raised pavement slab; stumbled and fell.
The man had caught up with her by now. Dany sat up slowly and turned around. She took her breath away when she looked into the face lit by the lantern.
"Ryo?" She asked quietly, but then stopped. It couldn't be Ryo. The man in front of her looked much older; his hair stood up wilder and his eyes did not radiate the friendliness that Ryo always displayed.
"No, his cousin!", Said the person opposite and grinned dirty. "I am Bakura!"
Dany wanted to leave, but this name ... Something stirred inside her again. Again the surroundings blurred, a new memory was about to break in, but Dany would not let that happen. For the first time she struggled against it. Her subconscious told her that he wasn't one of the good guys. Was he the bad guy? After all, he was related to Ryo and he came from their 'ranks'.
Bakura took a few steps towards her, but suddenly something dark red shot past Dany and pushed him back.
"You won't hurt her!"
There it was again: the child's voice. Dany looked up. A little girl was standing next to her. Her eyes shone purple; her hair was dark red and soon even had a tiny tinge of purple. White angel wings protruded from her back, she wore a red and white top and skirt; she also had a wand in her right hand. It looked exactly like Dany and Ria's, only the staff was red; the star on the tip was red and white and the ribbon under the star was also red.
"Ireon!", Bakura hissed and the girl turned to Dany. "Get out of here! I'll stop him!"
Dany did not have to be told twice. She jumped up and drove down the street, glancing back over her shoulder a few times.
But soon she could no longer see the girl and Bakura.
When she got home, she literally stormed into Ria's room and told her what had just happened.
"Ireon?" Ria suddenly breathed softly when Dany had finished.
Dany nodded and asked curiously: "Who is Ireon?"
"Galaxy," she began, "is the angel of darkness .... Orion is the angel of light .... and Ireon is the angel of love ... There is another one: Andromeda ... she is the one Angel of Death"Dany looked at Ria. "But who is Ireon? As a human?"
Ria shook her head. "She used to be Atemu's sister, I don't know who she is today ..."
"Can she, like us, have the same name as before?" Dany asked and Ria nodded. "It can be, yes ..."
"What was her name earlier?"
Ria smiled pained. "I do not know it anymore..."
Dany looked at Ria, disappointed. "Ah, wonderful!"
But the smaller one smiled encouragingly afterwards. "We'll find out yet," she said and winked. "First of all we are going to Egypt!"
Dany nodded, admitting defeat because she wouldn't find out anything for the time being. But she hoped that she would dream again and maybe even include Ireon in it.
It took a moment, but then she realized what Ria had just said.
"So can we go?", She asked and Ria nodded happily. "Of course. Mum and Dad also pay for Yami and Yugi if they come along ..."
Dany told her how Yami and Yugi had reacted but wanted to come anyway. "Great!" Ria said. "Maybe then both of them will get their memories back."
Dany yawned. "When are we actually flying?"
"Mum said in two days!"
"Waaaaas? So early? I have to tell Yami that!", Dany ran out of Rias room.
