Visit to Itachi
Chapter 5
It was a mystery to me how I could get out of bed the next morning, since I had slept for an hour at most. "Up ..." Kakashi interrupted his sentence because I was already dressed and ready. “You are already awake?” I nodded and rubbed my eyes sleepily. "Well ... well, breakfast is ready, you can go downstairs.", Kakashi said, while he continued to look at me. "Is what?" I asked, walking past him into the kitchen. He caught up with me within seconds: "No, I'm just amazed that you are already awake ..." I nodded and signaled that I understood him. At breakfast, I yawned several times. "How long did you sleep today?" Kakashi asked me. "Uh ... about an hour ...?" I said guiltily, although I couldn't help it. "Why? Because of your" phone call "yesterday?" Kakashi winked at me. I blushed. "You knew it wasn't a phone call?" I asked. "Of course, do you think I'm stupid?" He laughed. "I don't think you want to know ... But why didn't you do anything?" I asked. My mother didn't even allow me to invite a boy over, let alone go to one. "I don't want to embarrass you in front of Naruto ..." said Kakashi. "Please ?! You think Naruto was here ?!" I jumped up from my chair and gave him an angry look. "Yes of course. I saw you looking at him. But he's a nice guy, so it's ok.", He replied and bit off his bun. "1. Naruto wasn't here! 2. I don't want anything from him! 3. Stop saying that!" I shouted angrily. "If Naruto wasn't here ... then who ...?" Asked Kakashi. I swallowed and sat down again. “Someone in my class, so you don't have to worry.” I gave him a wry smile. “I'm asking you for the last time, who was here?” Kakashi looked at me intently. "A boy with black hair," I said. "Oh look, it's getting late we should go." I wanted to go, but Kakashi grabbed my wrist. “I'm listening.” “Have I already told you that I'm not going home with you today?” I asked, to distract from the subject. Kakashi held me tighter. "His name is Sasuke, you will know him," I said. Kakashi knew my whole class, after all, he was my teacher. "Sasuke?" He asked incredulously. "Yeah, I couldn't believe it either," I answered him. “What did he want?” Kakashi's gaze carried curiosity with it. "Oh ..." I looked up in the air, hoping to find an answer. After thinking for a moment, I remembered something that sounded at least halfway believable: “He just wanted to ask about his homework.” “And that's why he comes into your room through the window at night ?!” Kakashi frowned. "You can see how important school is to some ...!" I said, scratching my head nervously. Kakashi didn't quite believe it, but didn't ask any further questions.Instead, he went to the car and drove me to school. "Oh yes, earlier you said you won't be driving with me today. With whom then?", Kakashi asked, looking at me out of the corner of his eye. "By bus," I lied. He nodded understandingly. "I can understand that, Naruto also drives the bus ..." He looked at me conspiratorially. I returned his gaze, albeit hostile. When I got to the school, Kakashi pushed some money into my hand and left. "I'll see you at home later!" He called out to me before he left. "Yes, I'll come a little later!" I called after him. I didn't know where to go because I wasn't paying attention yesterday. So I just walked somewhere. That couldn't be that difficult ... Unfortunately, it was harder than I thought, so I was happy when I heard a familiar voice behind me: "Hey, Caro!" I turned to the curly head and gave him my joy to look really great: "Kibaaaaaaaaaaa!" Immediately afterwards I fell around his neck. He went red in the face. "You are my last resort," I said after letting go of him. His blush was still there. "Where's the fire?" He asked. "I'm lost ..." I replied. He grinned. “I was wondering where you're going.” I gave him a light nudge in the ribs before we went into the classroom together. "Oh, what else I wanted to tell you ..." Kiba looked at me with his animal-like eyes. "... tomorrow we have sports, so you should bring sports equipment with you." I nodded briefly, then the teacher came into the class and I sat down. We just had Kakashi ... "Well, I brought you worksheets. You just do them now." He handed out the papers, sat down at the desk and began to read. "You, Neji?" I whispered, nudging him. He looked at me. "Who do we have in sports?" I asked. "Mr. Gai.", Neji answered. “We have sports together with another class, but they are all a bit older than us.” “Why?” I asked him. He shrugged. I returned my attention to my worksheets before Kakashi came. It didn't look like he was paying any attention to anyone, because he was staring at his book. He did that yesterday in the hour in which we had already done it. "I want to know what he's reading all the time." I whispered while I looked at Neji. This one grinned slightly. "Nobody knows. If you ask him, he says it doesn't matter. Naruto tried to take the book away from him, but unfortunately without success ..." "Hmm ... I'll try to find out what kind of book that book is is ... "I said to Neji and smiled furtively.
When the class was finally over, I went to the school yard alone and looked around for Sasuke. He couldn't be seen. I took a sigh of relief and closed my eyes for a moment.“You're making a big mistake.” I screamed, startled. I opened my eyes and saw Sasuke in front of me. "You enjoy scaring me, right ?!" I concluded. "Maybe ..." he said. A brief grin crossed his lips, then he got serious again. "Still. You can't meet him!" "Oh, and you can determine that?" "No, but I can warn you. You don't know him! He's a slimy, stupid, nasty ..." I cut Sasuke that Word from: "In plain language, you don't like him. Maybe he regrets what he's done." "I dare to doubt that.", He replied. “You don't know what he's doing when you're alone.” I looked at Sasuke in disgust. "You don't seriously believe that, do you?" "I would trust him.", He answered with a shrug. "I drove with him, alone. He didn't do anything!" "Yes, in the car ...", Sasuke pointed out. I groaned briefly in annoyance. "Take it easy! It's actually none of your business! If I hadn't told you that ...!" At the moment when Sasuke wanted to reply something, his brother's red Porsche stopped in front of the school. Sasuke looked past me full of hatred. "If you'll excuse me, I'll be gone." I said goodbye and went to Itachi. "Hey! How are you?" He asked me. "Good so far. And you?" "Also." He smiled pleasantly and opened the car door. I got in, he did the same, then he drove off. When I looked out the window, I saw Sasuke looking after me in disbelief. Somehow I felt sorry for him. I turned back to Itachi. "Um ... what should we do first?" I asked. "I don't care. We can go into town, to the cinema, I can take you home or I can show you my home." "I think - ..." Suddenly my cell phone started ringing. "Why now?" I hissed softly while I fished my cell phone out of my pocket. "Yes ?!" I asked, the receiver to my ear, annoyed. "Hey, Caro. Kiba and I are going to the cinema, are you coming with me?" Asked the other voice. "Naruto? Is that you?" I asked. “Yes, who else?” I couldn't see him, but I was sure he was grinning. "Sorry, already have other plans. Maybe tomorrow?" I asked quickly. "Ok, that works too. See you tomorrow at school.", Naruto said. "Yes, see you then." I answered and hung up. "Your friend?" Asked Itachi. "A friend," I corrected. “Well, as far as I'm concerned, we can go to your house first and then we'll see.” Itachi nodded. "Sure." "Um ... tell me ... do you have a brother? Sasuke?" I asked carefully. "Yeah ... why?" "He's in my class," I said. "Well?" Asked Itachi. "I find it strange ..." I said. "He is, too," he laughed. "We have had radio silence for a few years now ..." "Why?" I asked. I tried to sound puzzled because I shouldn't know anything about his ... history."He blames me for our parents' death," Itachi said after a while. "I don't understand," I replied. I really didn't understand. "Well ... I had a car accident once. My parents were in the back of the car ... someone drove me in from behind. My parents and I were in the hospital, but ... they didn't survive ..." " But then it wasn't your fault at all! "I said excitedly. "Sasuke sees everything differently. He says I could have been careful.", Itachi said. He had a sad undertone. "Didn't you explain it to him?" I asked. “I tried.” Itachi shook his head slightly and let him sink. "Unfortunately without success ..." Neither of us said a word until we got to his house. It was big, white and had a pool in the garden that you could see from the front. It kind of suited him. Amazed, I got out of the car he'd parked in a garage as big as Kakashi's living room. "Not bad ..." I said, eyeing his kitchen critically. You could get into it directly from the garage. "I don't mean to be rude, but how can you afford that?" I asked. "I rob banks regularly.", Itachi said with a grin. "Ha ha ... seriously." I looked him in the eye. In those beautiful black eyes ... Oh oh ... don't drool! "Are you okay?" Itachi asked worriedly. "Why? Am I drooling ?!" Panicked, I rubbed my face. He laughed. "No, you're not drooling." "Phew ..." Sighing in relief, I sat down on one of the chairs at the dining table. He sat down across from me. "Soooo ... what do we do now?" I asked, putting on my favorite smile. "Whatever you want," Itachi said gently. My cell phone started beeping before I could answer. It was a text message from Kakashi, he wanted to know when I'm coming. I only wrote that I was with a friend from school and that I didn't yet know exactly when I would be coming. He should be satisfied with that! He'd probably think I'm with Naruto ... "That stupid ..." I stopped when I realized I was saying this out loud. "I hope you don't mean me," Itachi said. "No! I meant my brother who claims that I'm in love with ... someone." I said quickly. I didn't want to give the name.
