Chapter: Part 3 - Cleras’s story
(Note: So, here is the long-awaited third part ^^, well, I can say for sure that the ff will have 5 - 6 parts, so I've already got half of it. I really got over the commis Happy with the second part * the komi-writers through cuddling *, well, that's it from me for now ^^)
Finally Yugi recovered. "What do you want? And who are you anyway?" He asked. Suddenly he was totally angry with the guy, after all he had sent Joey into the realm of shadows. This question burst out of his mind immediately after the train of thought. “Why did you send Joey into the realm of shadows?” When you thought about the fact that a few minutes ago he had been totally afraid of this guy, now there was nothing left of that fear. There was only anger at this stranger now. But the stranger did not answer immediately. He just looked at Yugi as if he wanted to test whether Yugi didn't already know the answer. But, after a short time, he looked away again and smiled."Why Joey had to go to the realm of shadows? Are you really wondering? You should have already known the answer!", He said and seemed very amused by Yugi's questions. Ok, Yugi had a certain guess, but couldn't easily pronounce it. "Well, I'll tell you! Joey had to go to the realm of shadows because he was your friend. If I take over the body of a friend from you, I could have certain problems getting you, the Pharaoh out of the way, he said. Yugi wasn't particularly sure what to think of this guy. The fact was that he was an opponent of Yugi. Unfortunately, this was now evident. He, Yugi, was to blame for Joey being in the Realm of Shadows. But maybe it wasn't. When Malik took over Joey's body, Joey was still in his body. Couldn't it be the same this time? "You still haven't told us who you are", Tristan now interfered in Yugi's train of thought, which he interrupted with this remark."Who I am? Well, what the heck! You won't be able to do anything with my name either way. Since the Pharaoh's memory has faded," he looked at Yugi again when he mentioned Pharaoh, "But you can go to me Call Cleras! And does the name mean anything to you? "He didn't need to have said 'you' at all. It was clear that Tristan couldn't do anything with the names. Yugi couldn't do anything with it either. 'Cleras', what a strange name! He had already said what he wanted. He wanted to get the Pharaoh, Yugi and Yami out of the way. And Yugi / Yami had to get Cleras out of the way so they could save Joey.
"Well, today I'm not particularly keen on rendering you harmless," Cleras finally said, bored. "I'll look around a little first and try to win a couple of people for myself! Believe me, I have my options!", He said to Yugi and nodded at his 'puzzle'. Does that mean that he had the same capabilities as Malik of controlling people? No, it couldn't be! Or rather, it couldn't be. Nothing good could come from such power, Yugi knew that very well. Tristan also seemed to be of his opinion, but looked at Cleras very frightened. "So Pharaoh," he said as he got up. "See you! And believe me, sooner than you would like", he said with a grin and walked past Yugi and Tristan. Why the two did nothing against him, they asked themselves immediately afterwards when the room door slammed behind them. Yugi just couldn't quite understand it yet. Joey, his best friend, was trapped in the realm of shadows because of him and his past, his other self. Yugi had to fight against cleras, that much was clear! But couldn't he risk Joey's life by doing this? What if he won against Cleras but couldn't save Joey? Yugi slowly sank to the floor. It couldn't all be true. No sooner had they saved the world from Malik than the next one arrived. The biggest problem was that he turned Yugi against his best friend. Yugi didn't want to fight Joey, although he knew very well that it wasn't Joey anymore, but Cleras. If only he knew more about Cleras, then he could try to convince Cleras that he had to release Joey again. But maybe Cleras would never listen to him. Yugi had noticed very well that Cleras had something against him. Maybe he just had to find out what, and then Cleras would go away again? But those were just delusions, Yugi was aware of that. Delusions so that he would not realize that he would soon have to fight his best friend's body.
Later, Yugi couldn't tell how he got home from Joey's house. Or rather, how Tristan slowly helped him up from the floor and then more or less pulled him home. None of this stayed in his memories. The first thing he really noticed again was the way he was at home, alone in his room, staring at the Millennium necklace.Ishizu had given it to him. With it she could see into the future, but also into the past. Should he or shouldn't he try? "We should at least try it, maybe we'll find a way to save Joey", Yami said into his head. But Yugi still wasn't sure. He had actually seen and heard too much today. He didn't want any more. If he could see more now that he actually didn't want to see, how would he react? But then he remembered, at least as best he could. Yami was right. That was her only chance to save Joey possibly without a fight. Slowly he reached out his hand for the chain. But before he even touched it, he pulled it back again. "Yugi remember, I'm with you, there are two of us! We can do it!", Yami's voice encouraged him again in his head. "Ok", Yugi whispered and took the chain. How should he use it? Ishizu had given it to him without telling him how it was used.Yugi only realized that he had just asked himself this question in vain when the Millennium Chain suddenly started to glow in his hand .....

The whole village was devastated. The few survivors of the attack met in the former village center and looked at the damage. No house was intact, there were no more boards, stones or other things that they could use to build new houses. The villagers only realized how many were dead when they realized that they were only 15 people, down from 100 former residents. Most of them had lost their entire families. So also a man who stood a little apart from the remaining 14. He stared at the rubble of a house, certainly his house. What he was mumbling incomprehensible, one could not understand. The others didn't seem to pay much attention to him. They just kept wondering how that could have happened. The man standing to one side clenched his fists as if he couldn't stand their gossip. "You are really difficult to understand ...", while he said that, his voice slowly grew louder. Only now did the survivors seem to notice him. "What do you mean by that, Cleras?" Asked one of the survivors, who appeared to be the 'spokesman' for the rest of the villagers. "That .....", Cleras now pointed to the destroyed houses, to the smoke that was still hanging over the village and also to himself and the others, "..... that is the work of Pharaoh, the you so much admired. I told you before that this Pharaoh will bring you down! ..... "Cleras screamed meanwhile. The others stared at him. "You can't be serious, our Pharaoh would never do something like that ...", the 'spokesman' tried to appease him. "NO !! He just keeps summoning the monsters in shadow games! That you still stand behind him, even though he killed your families with it, I really don't understand anymore.I thought that would finally have opened your eyes ... ", after a short hesitation, Cleras began to scream again:" YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND IT! THE GUY HAS YOUR FAMILIES ON A CERTAIN, MY FAMILY, HOW CAN YOU STAND BEHIND HIM? “The villagers stared at him. Could Cleras be right after all? Had her Pharaoh really betrayed her?
(Final remark: But again I ^^. (I just can't help it) .... Well, I would be really happy about komis again .... but before I reveal how the ff will end (I already know pretty sure), I'd rather close it now ^^, so thanks again to all those who read the ff ^^
