Episode 1

Chapter 2

Dim light streamed through the Shion walls of the palace and hit the face of the emperor's daughter Marron. From the garden the birds began to wake Marron out of their sleep with ease with their wonderful singing. But Marron hardly moved. She didn’t sleep any more, but since she didn’t have any duties to perform today, she wanted to lie down and rest a little longer. But when she heard someone from the watchtower shouting "They are coming. They are coming." She suddenly jumped out of bed and ran as fast as she could into the lobby, where a few other palace residents had already gathered. She listened to the many excited voices talking about how the emperor had fared. Marron's heart was beating faster and faster with excitement. To calm herself down, she knelt on the floor and took a deep breath. She spent minutes in this meditating state. But when the large archway opened, she opened her eyes at the same time and looked out with tension."Funny, usually father comes in first, hopefully nothing has happened to him." Marron said when she saw some men enter who seemed to be wearing something long. Only when he got closer did Marron realize that it was her father on a stretcher. it was covered with a silk scarf. "Father!!!" she screamed, got up and lunged at him, but one of the men stopped her. “He's not dead.” Said the man “Only seriously contagious.” “I still want to see him” “Afterwards.” He said to calm her down and pushed her into the next room. “Let go of me samurai.” She screamed the whole time. Only when they were both in the guest room did she stop.

"You damn bastard. Why didn't you let me see my father?" She yelled again after a short pause. But he just sat there and blew deeply. "Speaks." he heard her scream again. "I've already told you once. Your father is seriously ill and could infect you." This answer was obviously not enough for Marron, because she got up and walked across the room with small but quick steps."Don't you care why your father got sick?" she asked the samurai, but Marron only replied, "Can't you leave me alone and go?" "Unfortunately not." The samurai replied, "Your father gave me the task of protecting you when his illness began." Marron groaned deeply. "Oh no." she thought, "No samurai, just not a samurai. They are much too rough and have not a bit of manners." For a long time she sat there and spoke softly to herself until Chi-Lu entered and told her that she could now visit her father.
