Chapter: --- And daily greetings from the Dragon Ball --- Part 13
--- Part 13 ---
Vegeta was standing in front of the steak house, holding his stomach. "Man, I'm so full, I think I won't eat anything for 1 week!" He burped loudly and left. The waiter and the chef stood in the doorway and stared after him. “Tell me this is just a bad dream!” “Unfortunately it was. The guy consumed 14 of our SteaksXXL without batting an eyelid!” “What if he comes back?” “Then we're broke! "The waiter struck steak from the menu of the day and hoped to explain the matter to his boss. Vegeta, meanwhile, had run into a side corridor and took off. "I've wasted way too much time!" he cursed. He followed a contact on the dragonball radar heading south.
After an hour, Vegeta reached a sandy wasteland and checked the radar. “Right below me!” He went down and examined the ground. "Nothing! What a bummer, I have no time!" Angry, he shot several energy balls and created some deep craters. After the dust settled, he found the dragon ball between a few stones. "Something like that, what is he doing so deep in the earth?" Vegeta wondered. But then he thought about it. "So, number 3 is waiting!" he called and flew on.
In the Capsule Coorp. Bulma and her father cleared away the last of the rubble. "I think we can get the first parts right away!" said Mr.Briefs happy. “Luckily I have them in stock!” They got to work and fetched the huge segments with auxiliary robots and began to attach them.
"Shit! Where is that damn bullet?" Vegeta was romping around in a grotto into which the radar had led him. Water could be heard everywhere, rushing through the rock. Apparently there was a source nearby. Vegeta was a little queasy because the entrance had long been behind him. Then he saw the dragon ball in a corner on a pile of bones. “Where are the parts lying around?” Vegeta examined the corner and picked up the dragon ball.“And who lives in such a hole?” Then he heard a noise behind him and turned around in a flash. A bear stood across from him. “What's that?” Vegeta was disgusted. “You stink!” The bear replied with a deep growl and attacked Vegeta. He struck back and sent the bear into the realm of dreams. “Stupid cattle!” He looked for the way outside. In the sunlight he checked his radar again and traced the bearing.
Late in the evening he had 5 dragon balls together. Meanwhile Vegeta had transport problems and had to make an emergency landing. “Where can I get a bag in a hurry?” He looked around and discovered a village nearby. Vegeta crept up and peeked out from behind a bush. "They look like from the Middle Ages!" he was amazed, because the villagers in this remote region did not think much of modern technology and were dressed in coarse fabrics. Then Vegeta spotted some wicker baskets. "I need one like that!"He looked around and sauntered as harmlessly as possible to the baskets and took one. He was about to turn around when a woman stood behind him." What do you want with my basket? You are not from here! "She looked at Vegeta appraisingly. He glared at her and said." Shear yourself away! This is important and I need it right now! "The woman put her hands on her hips." I'll get my brother right away if you don't put the basket down again and leave our village! "Vegeta groaned. Then he turned around. When the woman ran after him screaming, he held her at a distance with an outstretched forefinger." These earth women! "He cursed and lifted off. The woman stared after him and completely forgot her grumbling.
"Because of that stupid bitch I lost time again!" he cursed. “Where's the last dragon ball?” He checked the display. "That can't be true! With Karkarott nearby! I completely forgot!" Vegeta accelerated and flew towards the rising moon.
"You papa?" "Yes?" "Do we want to train again tomorrow?" Between two bowls of rice, SonGohan found time to ask a question. "Gladly! That was good!" SonGoku also tried very hard to get the bowls empty quickly. "And papa? I wanted to ask if ..." "Shut up!" SonGoku listened intently. "Someone's coming! Vegeta!" He got up quickly. " I'll do it !" he shouted. Vegeta could not yet be seen outside, but the aura could be felt. Then SonGoku saw him in the moonlight. "What is he doing here!" he thought. Vegeta landed and went straight to him. “Hello, Karkarott!” “Well, it's probably no longer daytime!” Vegeta hissed loudly and pointed to the radar. "That thing says there's a dragon ball around here! Do you know where?" SonGoku was amazed. "But he needs it! Normally he doesn't ask anyone and certainly not me for help!" "Nope, I can't help you! At the moment I don't know anything about the Dragoballs!"Vegeta growled. Then SonGoku saw the basket." You have all but one! What's in such a hurry? "" Nothing! "Shouted Vegeta." Don't worry about your own business! It's important! "He turned around." Well, I can forget that then! It's way too dark to look! "He picked up." See you soon, Karkarott! "Grinned Vegeta and flew away." How did he mean that again? "SonGoku scratched his head.
"Shit, I dawdled too much!" Vegeta cursed the entire return flight. It landed right on his balcony. “Oh no!” Something occurred to him. "Tomorrow the things will be gone again! Shit!" He was the basket on the wall and the dragon balls were flying around the room. Vegeta sat on the table and brooded. “I have to manage to find and use these things in one day, otherwise everything would be a mess!” Suddenly the door opened and Bulma came in. "What kind of noise are you making?" she exclaimed angrily. Then she saw the dragon balls lying around. "Oh, you found her! That was quick!" "Don't talk nonsense!" hissed Vegeta. “One is missing!” “Then get it tomorrow!” Vegeta stepped on the floor. "Damn, I thought I made myself clear. Tomorrow things will be back in their original place!" A little plaster trickled from the ceiling because Vegeta had kicked too hard. “Watch out!” Bulma got mad again. “You wreak havoc wherever you go!” Vegeta didn't move. “Hey, I'm talking to you!” Bulma walked up to him.
So, that's enough for today (was only in a good mood anyway)
