Chapter 1 - Deceived

Bulma began to yawn wearily. It was after 1 p.m., but she couldn't keep her eyes open because of the tiredness. She had decided to stay in bed and sleep all day today.

Bulma held her head and sat up. She had a terrible headache and had a strange feeling in the stomach area. * Oh man, yesterday's party was really tough. * Bulma looked out the window directly at the pool. * At least everything is now clean again * Sighing, she let herself fall back into the pillow and then pulled the covers over her head. She yawned again and closed her eyes.

Suddenly she heard a loud bang that made her flinch. Then she heard someone trampling up the stairs and slamming her door loudly against the wall.

Bulma didn't dare move under the covers because she knew exactly who was standing in her door ... Vegeta.

She heard his steps approaching her bed and then suddenly stopping again. Bulma wondered, there was silence for a few seconds. Bulma wanted to push the blanket away again, but at that very moment it was torn from her and she fell out of bed in shock. She stared at the angry Vegeta in amazement. This approached Bulma, who was now lying on the ground, and pulled her to her feet by the collar of her nightgown. "Hey woman, what have you been lying in bed for so long? Repairing the gravity room!" He shouted angrily at Bulma. This then became so angry that she could hardly contain herself. She had loved to yell at him loudly, but her head was just booming from the loud music and all the alcohol she had drunk yesterday.

Exhausted and exhausted, she stood in front of Vegeta, who angrily glared at her with his arms crossed over his chest. Bulma, however, was not deterred by him and simply threw herself back on the bed. She just didn't feel like repairing Vegeta's GR now, yesterday evening had really finished her off.

Vegeta looked puzzled. * What is this woman thinking? How dare she just ignore me like that? * Even angrier than before, he grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.

Bulma began to gasp in pain. "Ouch ... you're hurting me!" She hissed and looked at Vegeta with hatred. Vegeta started to grin maliciously. He finally got her attention. "Finally repair the gravity space!" He ordered again and squeezed Bulma's arm even tighter. Bulma was starting to get scared. She felt Vegeta tighten his grip and screwed up her eyes. She wanted at all costs to prevent the tears that obscured her eyes from pouring down her cheeks. She didn't want him to see her cry. No, she didn't want to give him that satisfaction.

But then she felt how he squeezed even harder and would have liked to scream loudly, but she prevented that too. He held her prisoner quietly and without any movement and Bulma could no longer.

When Vegeta heard a low sob from her, he loosened his grip again. * These weak people. I didn't even squeeze properly and she's starting to cry.* Bulma felt Vegeta's grip loosen and sink to the floor. A lonely tear ran down her cheek, but she immediately wiped it away with the back of her hand. She got up from the floor again, but didn't dare look Vegeta in the eye. Silently she walked past him and made her way to the GR. Vegeta followed her.

Once there, Bulma looked at the display. It was black. She types something on the keyboard, but nothing happened.

Bulma picked up the tool kit she had left behind from the last time. She knew that it was only a matter of time before Vegeta would demolish the GR again and therefore found it better not to have to fetch her tools every time.

She took out a wrench and detached the panel from the display, behind which a lot of cables were hidden. While Bulma started the repairs, she thought about the previous evening. She remembered poorly, but knew exactly that Yamcha had flirted with pretty much every girl at the party.Of course he thought she wouldn't notice, but she had watched everything. She had been so angry with him that she didn't even notice how she got drunk all the time. When she finally made up her mind to speak up to Yamcha, she collapsed. She only faintly noticed how she was brought to her room by him and he then disappeared.

Bulma sighed. What should she do now? Should she be mad at him or forgive him again?

Bulma awoke from her thoughts when she heard a soft beep from the display. She looked at it and saw that it was working again. So she reattached the display panel and turned it to face Vegeta. He had been watching her the whole time and just stared at her disinterestedly. "The GR is working again now!", Bulma announced and was about to make her way back to her room when she suddenly heard a loud clang, very close to her.Vegeta, who was just about to start his training, also stopped. Immediately he felt for the energies in the area and recognized that Yamcha and another weak being was in the room next door.

"What was that?" Asked Bulma, turning back to Vegeta. "This third-rate substitute combat worm and someone I don't know .." he replied.

Bulma's eyes widened, could it be true? Had Yamcha ... Without thinking further, Bulma stomped over to the room from which she heard more noises. She really wanted to know if Vegeta was right.

Vegeta noticed that the woman was angry and since he knew it was because of this surrogate battle worm, he followed her. He didn’t want to miss an argument between the two of them.

Bulma stood in front of the door of the next room and listened for a moment. She heard a faint cursing and the clatter of broken glass. Without waiting again, she pushed the door open. Her breath caught ... "Yamcha ...!", she stammered. How could he do something like that to her? Her gaze became obscured and she felt an infinite anger rise within her. She felt terrible, first this terrible party, then the headache and Vegeta. But now? Now it exceeded it Everything. Shocked, Bulma just stood there and stared speechless at Yamcha and a young woman standing next to him, the woman was only wearing the blanket of the bed and was busy picking up a broken vase.

Bulma collected herself again and let out all her anger. "HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ME WITH ANY BITCH IN MY HOUSE? GET OUT !!!" she yelled all over the house and they could probably even hear the neighbors. "Uh ... Bulma ... it's not what you think.", Yamcha stuttered, but Bulma wasn't put off. "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!? I SAY YOU SHOULD DISAPPEAR !!! LEAVE MY HOUSE IMMEDIATELY AND DON'T DARE TO SEE YOU HERE AGAIN!""Yamcha lowered his gaze, he grabbed the woman standing next to him by the arm and left the Capsule Corp. estate with her.

Bulma was still totally pissed off and would have loved to keep screaming all together. She turned around and saw an astonished Vegeta standing in front of her. "What are you staring at?" She snapped at him and made her way to her room.

Vegeta stood astonished, now alone, in the hallway of the Capsule Corp. And thought about it. * Wow, the woman really has what it takes. Even Frezzer who went down on their knees at this screaming. * Vegeta dismissed his thoughts and decided to follow the woman.

In the middle of the hallway Bulma stopped in front of her room and looked at a picture of herself and Yamcha that was hanging on the wall. They looked so happy on it. And now? It was all over! They had known each other for so long, they had been friends for so long. And now should it all be over?

Bulma's anger built up again and she closed her eyes for a moment.

She heard a strange noise and felt something fall to the ground. She quickly opened her eyes again and was startled. Unknowingly, she hit the picture with her right hand. A short but loud scream came from her throat as she saw blood run down the wall. Pain, stabbing pain spread in her hand. Carefully she looked at her hand and noticed how a huge shard of glass stuck inside her. Hot tears ran down her cheeks and she fell to the floor. Lost in thought, she stared at her hand and felt only the deep, great pain.

Not the pain in her hand that she felt through the broken glass. But the pain in her heart that Yamcha had inflicted on her.

Suddenly a scream rang out, but Bulma only heard it as if from a dream world. Mrs. Briefs had entered the hall and now saw her daughter lying bleeding on the floor. She quickly ran to her. But Bulma just looked at her dreamily.

She didn't seem to have grasped the situation she was in yet.

Ms. Briefs didn't know what to do, she just saw the blood oozing from Bulma's hand. When she finally realized that she couldn't just sit around idly, she decided to call the ambulance. As fast as she could she ran to the phone.

Bulma, on the other hand, was still lying on the floor, confused, when Vegeta suddenly entered the hallway. Shocked about what kind of scene there was in front of him, he stopped. The Earthling woman was actually lying on the ground, staring, with tears on her cheeks, at her bloody hand, which contained a huge shard. He took a few steps towards her, but stopped again when he heard steps behind him. Mr. and Mrs. Briefs came into the hallway and rushed towards Bulma. Mr. Briefs
