Fanfic: Doch nur ein Traum? [2]

Chapter: But just a dream? [2]

3rd part

The two sat with their hearts beating loudly, feverishly wondering what to do. "I think I have it ..." René whispered. His pulse was racing. Shouldn't it have just been a dream? Was it a vision? "You have to ...", he continued hesitantly, but then spoke again more confidently and resolutely: "As soon as I'm in heaven you can get yourself to safety quickly, right?" Martin shook his head. "What about the others here on the bus?" He asked. His friend gave him a piercing look. Nappa came dangerously close to the window. “You're the only one here who can fly besides me, so no more arguing, right?” Martin nodded, concerned. "Okay ... I'll try," he said slowly, gazing over the people around him who looked like they were frozen. They were pale and did not move. René tore him from his thoughts. "Just train well and a lot," he said, looking at the rapeseed field next to the bus, which was now in golden bloom, "after all, I only know what will happen as far as Vegeta's base.Maybe he'll break his word one day and come back here ... "René turned around and smiled at his friend:" And tell Jule about this, okay? "Then he turned his gaze outside where the Saiyajin had already gathered and suddenly became serious." Wait! René! I still have to tell you something! ", shouted Martin at the last moment," I ... I also have a monkey tail! "René turned around again." You have WHAT? "he exclaimed in disbelief," just hide it well and watch out! "Then the window next to him splintered. René gave Martin a warning before he was dragged out of the window and tried to free himself, wriggling. Martin got up and rushed out. He looked around and then floated up into the sky.

"Let go of me, Raditz!" Shouted René and thrashed around even more wildly. The person addressed let go of René in astonishment. "How do you know ...", he paused when he saw René's grin. In his opinion, something was terribly wrong. "I need to get your attention!", thought René. At that moment, however, he saw his friend rise into the sky." Good, "he thought," then we can start. "

From that moment he completely forgot that he could have turned all these events in his favor. The memory of his vision was blown away. Everything happened just as it had been shown in the dream. Until they got to Vegeta's base. From the outside it looked like an oversized, round space capsule and had countless small and at least as many large rooms. On the north side were the apartments of the Saiyan royal blood and on the south side the landing stage and the control room. Next to it, in turn, were the storage rooms for the space capsules.

They were just walking through one of the many corridors behind Vegeta when the dream suddenly came back to René. Again he brooded over the look he had noticed in the dream, and although he intended to attack Vegeta in one of these ways, he let it go and just crept after him thoughtfully. He was only startled when the prince stopped at a door and indicated that they should go inside. Julian and René went in and René was confused. "Why hadn't the look appeared? What does it all mean?" He asked himself. At that moment the door closed. They were locked in. René sat down on the floor with crossed legs. He was disappointed and exhausted.

After Julian had tried to open the door with a couple of powerful knocks and failed, he walked across the room. Then he saw two piles of combat suits farther back. But they weren't those of the Saiyan. They were completely normal clothes, although he hardly knew what normal clothes were anymore. He took the piles and put one next to his friend and put the other at his feet. Then he sat down next to him.

For a while the friends were silent in their lonely room, but then it became too much for Julian. "You knew right? You knew everything! "he muttered." What did I know? ", René asked, puzzled." Well, all the Saiyajin stuff ... The whole time I had the feeling that you weren't at all surprised by all that happened. Martin also told me that you had a dream. Is there a connection? "It came back. René bowed his head and looked at the floor. Should he tell him? The one about the vision? His friend looked at him questioningly." What's going on? You have never been so locked up! Never! ", he continued to persuade him." Well, it's like that ... ", René began while he got up and started to put on the suit, because his was still very tattered from his last fight," I had one Kind of vision. Everything happened exactly as we just experienced it. Except ... "" Don't say you saw Vegeta's face, "interrupted his friend." Yes, it was. He had a strange look on his face. And now I think about it all the time, because at the point where this face came in my dream, it didn't appear ... "" That's strange ... "said Julian when René had ended," I'm more frequent Woke up sweaty in my bed at night. And when I wanted to close my eyes again, Vegeta's face always appeared and grinned maliciously at me ... "He paused and looked up. Something had happened at the door. The two immediately spoke to their feet. The heavy door opened himself and Bardock came in. "What are you doing here? ", René snapped at him and got ready to fight as a precaution." Take it easy ... ", Bardock replied. His facial expression was a bit like the dream images and the other two winced. Bardock waved them over." The king wants you see! ", he said coolly. Only now did the two notice a star-shaped scar on his left cheek, which shimmered strangely bluish in the light that shone in from the hallway. He must have already ended many fights successfully.

Reluctantly, the friends followed him into the corridor and towards the palace. On their way they saw many Saiyajin who were bustling around everywhere, as if they all had an important task, but many stopped behind the "newcomers" and looked at them skeptically.René felt their eyes on his back and looked around nervously and without moving his head, just out of the corner of his eye. He was surprised that Julian had become so calm when everything was teeming with enemies!

They continued down the hallways. Turn left and then right again. In the beginning Julian had tried to remember the way back, that's why he had been so quiet. "You never know ..." he thought to himself as they turned a corner again. "So how was that again? First straight ahead, then the second passage on the left and then through the fourth door. Then turn right and left again. At the big door, left and then ... right? Or was that left? Or stop There was this big door! "Julian shook his head. He would never find his way outside through this maze of corridors! His only option was the long-established Saiyan who could lead them through this maze.

While Julian was still busy with the way, his friend was already drawing up an escape plan. But what he didn't really want to succeed ... The many corridors confused him too. He came to the conclusion that they had to wait so long to flee until they knew their way around the corridors.

Bardock smiled. He could read what was going on in their heads. And he was proud that his son wouldn't let himself get down. No matter how dark it was around him, he still seemed to see a ray of light and Kakarot knew how to use it. That was a clear sign that he really was his son. Just to test this, he ran three times in a circle with the two "newcomers", but this time he was on the right track. Very soon they were standing in front of a large gate. To Renés and Julianus astonishment, there were no other decorations on this door apart from two fighting figures with monkey tails. Even so, it was the only ornate spot on this base they had seen.

The door opened and the three entered a large room. But this wasn't exactly the kind of hall they were used to on Earth. This room was more like a sports or combat hall. If people were standing at the other end of this hall, they could only be seen very much reduced in size. Buttons were worked into one wall. And right next to it, a monitor disappeared halfway into the wall.

Bardock stepped forward and shouted something. A hissing sound was heard, as if someone were moving very quickly, and a figure was already standing in front of Bardock and quickly exchanging a few words with him. Julian and René could not understand what was being said there, but they knew exactly that this conversation was being held through them.

After a short while, Bardock bowed and the figure looked past him to the two newcomers and motioned them to follow her. Then the figure rushed away. The friends followed her quickly, because they were afraid of getting lost, because they had no idea that Bardock had led them by the nose.

Julian quickly passed Bardock. René followed in a short distance, then he paused. He heard Bardock's voice loudly: "Watch out! Verdena is not to be trifled with! Don't say anything wrong, otherwise you are as good as dead! She is the princess!" René looked at Julian, who was already ahead of the game. "Strange. Jule doesn't seem to have heard him," he thought to himself and then briefly turned to Bardock. This one didn't look like he said anything. René was confused. He had heard his voice clearly! He looked at Bardock, completely confused. He smiled briefly. Then René heard this voice again, but Bardock's lips did not move: "Listen! You are my son and I will guide you through thought transmission! I will help you through there!" With these words he left the room and disappeared into the corridor. Now it was done. René stood there with his mouth open and didn't know what to believe. He had always been told that his father was killed in a car accident when he was a baby! What if this Saiyan were his father? Had he sent him the dream too? He had read once that it is not uncommon for a vision to involve two people. He was so amazed that for a moment he completely
