Chapter 4: Night visit




Kiara didn't sleep very well that night. She dreamed of black beings with glowing red eyes that came out of a mass of lava. Then, she saw a big black monster with rice teeth emerge from the lava and send out a black mist that suffocated her. She woke up drenched in sweat and shivering. After she had calmed down a bit, she crept down the hall into Vegeta's room. Once there, she crawled under Vegeta's covers and snuggled close to him. Soon she fell asleep.


Vegeta woke up in the middle of the night and found that he had an arm in his face. After he pushed his arm away and turned on the light, he realized that Kiara was in his bed. At first he wanted to wake her up, make a mess and throw her out of bed, but then he just stared at her.


"She looks really cute when she sleeps!" he thought. Suddenly Kiara opened her eyes and looked at him.With a jerk she started up and looked around the room: "What am I doing here?" "How should I know that, when I woke up I definitely had your arm in my face!", Vegeta replied sullenly and then added : "So! Why are you here?" Kiara looked at him puzzled, she would have thought he would beat her up now or somehow freak out, but that he just asked her, albeit harshly, why she was here, she had not expected. She thought for a moment and then said: "I had a nightmare!" Vegeta looked at her crookedly and said: "Yes and, go on! ????!" So Kiara told him about the monsters and other demons she had dreamed of . After she finished speaking, Vegeta eyed her. She wore a pink, wet pinafore and the strand of blue hair fell over her face. She had tied the rest of the hair in a ponytail, but some strands had come loose and now, quite disheveled, slipped over her shoulder."If you want ...," the prince began, "if you want you can sleep here." Kiara thought she couldn't believe her ears, Prince Vegeta offered her, and in a friendly tone, to sleep in his bed sleep. She hesitated a little and then gave him a "Thank you!" as answer. Then she snuggled back into the pillows and immediately fell asleep again. Vegeta, however, lay awake for a while and rubbed her cheek again. "Actually ... she's really nice!" Thought, but then he too fell asleep exhausted.


The next morning Kiara woke up by shaking hard. When she opened her eyes she saw a face and began to scream in shock. "Are you crazy? !!? You can't just start screaming without warning!" Only now did Kiara notice that it was Vegeta who had woken her up and now looked at her rather sourly, if not annoyed. "Come on! Get up, the training is about to start!", Vegeta urged her.So Kiara ran into her room and got dressed. When she came out of the room, Vegeta was already waiting for her. " It's about time!" said the latter and then said: "Come on now" They went into the dining room, where a huge feast was already waiting for them. After dinner, the two went to training. "Why did you wait for me and suddenly you are so kind to me?" Kiara wanted to know, but Vegeta just shrugged his shoulders and then replied: "I don't know! Maybe I like you!" Then he turned into the corridor that led to his training room.
