Chapter 5: Flying Lessons






Since that day, Kiara slept almost always with Vegeta and the two had otherwise become best friends.


One day Vegeta walked past Kiara's training room and stood in front of it in amazement. It had always puzzled him that there were so many strange weapons in Kiara's training room, but her training was the funniest of all. She only fought in hand-to-hand combat without using Ki rays or the like. Her physical dexterity was admirable. Cele never met her once, as Kiara always took cover with somersaults or jumps. Her punches and kicks weren't any worse. They were so precise that they met Cele every time. Kiara was about to strike again when Cele interrupted the training: "Hold Kiara! That's enough for today! Take a rest, ok!" With these words he left the room and Kiara looked after him thoughtfully and confused. "Why did he stop training?Was he afraid of losing? And why should I rest, I'm still in top shape! "She was torn from her thoughts by a bang. When she turned around, she realized that it was Vegeta who had fallen over a battle ax. When he got up he said:" Damn it! Why does there have to be so much stuff lying around here! What is it, go on, let's train! "


After a while, Kiara had herded Vegeta into a corner, but when she reached up to strike, he was gone. Kiara looked around the room and noticed that it was floating on the ceiling. "Hey Vegeta! Come down there! This is unfair, I can't fly!" Kiara shouted offended. Vegeta thought she had misheard. This girl had a great fighting style but couldn't fly! Incredible! "You can really fly?" Vegeta asked still incredulously. "No!" answered Kiara. After a short silence Vegeta said resolutely: "I'll teach you!"


"Ok! You have to push yourself off the ground with all your might, it's actually very easy!"Vegeta showed Kiara a few times and gave her a few more tips on how to land. Kiara didn't find it easy at first and lay down on her face a few times, but after a while she got a feeling for it." Hey , class! You learn really fast! "Said Vegeta and then added snootily:" But that's no wonder either! Finally I'll teach you! "Kiara learned really quickly and after just under half a day she was able to fly perfectly.


The two of them had completely forgotten the time during the flying lessons and only left the training room late in the evening. After showering and changing, they went into the kitchen to make something to eat. The cook warmed up their dinner again and then left them alone in the kitchen.


When they had finished eating they left the kitchen to go to their bedrooms. On the way there the two bumped into Nappa, who had been looking for Vegeta for a long time. "Your father is away with some soldiers to conquer a planet for Freezer."Nappa explained the prince." I think this guy is so incredibly strong! Why can't he conquer his stupid planets himself!?! "Replied Vegeta and Kiara looked as if she wasn't interested. Neither Vegeta nor Kiara could suffer from Freezer." He's constantly ordering my father or us around! I would really like to beat him up! "Said Vegeta angrily." But you wouldn’t have a chance against him, Vegeta! Your father is already planning an attack against Freezer, but you will have to be patient and don't do anything rash! "Nappa whispered to the two of them.


After this conversation, the two of them went to Vegeta's room and talked a bit before they fell asleep exhausted.
