Gohan closed his eyes and looked across the street again, hoping that the girl would reappear.


He didn't see the girl, but the dog he was trotting around the corner of a dilapidated high-rise. Gohan followed the dog without hesitation. He had to walk down one of the dirtiest streets in town. And slowly he lost interest in the girl. but at that moment the dog turned into a front door and ran up to the fifth floor, where it disappeared into a rotten door.




Gohan didn't believe his eyes, he hoped this was all just a dream. A girl like that couldn't live in an apartment like that. Or is it? After some thought, Gohan decided to knock. He knocked three times on the door, but no one answered. He knocked again and this time a soft voice called: "Who's there?" "It's me! Yesterday, you remember. I made the acquaintance of your dog." answered Gohan in a shy voice."What do you want here?" replied the girl, annoyed. "Can I come in? I don't find it very easy to shout through the door." Gohan had now gathered all his courage and was waiting for a reaction from the girl. "No!" disappointed Gohan hung his head and turned away. “I'm coming out.” Gohan didn't believe his ears. And before he knew it, the girl was standing in front of him. There were traces of mud and dirt in her face, her hair was greasy and uncombed, but her eyes were beautiful and Gohan decided to take the girl out. He said in a brave voice: "Do you fancy an ice cream?" "Of course!" replied the girl in surprise. Son-gohan gave her the right of way and when he saw her back, the blow almost hit him. Her back was totally bony and her legs spindly. He wondered why he hadn't noticed that the day before. When the two of them were sitting in the ice cream parlor, the girl swallowed like a thresher.She didn't seem to get something to eat every day, from what she looked like. The unkempt appearance of the girl naturally drew countless glances at the two and Gohan would have loved to sink into the ground. When the girl finished her last sundae, Gohan offered her to go home with him to take a hot bath. Chichi would give her new clothes to wear and she could stay at his house for a couple of nights. But unexpectedly, she turned down his offer. She probably felt overwhelmed.


Son -Gohan couldn't understand her and when he made her his offer again, she got up and stormed up from the table in the direction of her run-down apartment. Surprised by this reaction, Gohan first had to collect himself again. But when he realized what was just happening, the girl was gone. Disappointed, he took the one to Haseweg. But he wouldn't give up so easily he decided to visit her again the next day.
