Trunks lay there until evening. Thousands of thoughts were buzzing through his head. He went over the whole relationship between himself and Marron, but he still didn't understand any of it. Slowly he fell asleep exhausted and sad. The next day he decided to write a letter to Marron too. In him he wanted to express all his feelings. He sat at his desk and thought about what to write. He knew full well that he had to think about it all carefully.
He started:
Dear Marron!
I don't know if I can ever forgive you for that.
