That is the counterpart to "A Mate`s Death". So now from Goku's point of view.

Ps.: "A Mate`s Death" and "Whisper" are only short intermediate stories. The real story is yet to come. I only wrote it because I had no ideas about the other one. (Just if someone cares.)

He didn't really want to die again, he had so much to live for.


He wanted to live to see his family.


He wanted to touch the soft, soft skin of his wife.


He felt tears welling up in his eyes.


He sacrificed his whole body, his soul, his existence just to save the world.


Although he wished for a second with Chichi.


He wanted to tell her that everything would be fine.


He wanted to hold her in his arms and explain to her himself that he was going to die now.

Tell her that he will always think of her and always be with me no matter what.


He wanted to kiss her soft lips again.


Just once more.


It never bothered him that she yelled at him.


Never.


He knew that she was only worried about him and only wanted the best for him.


He felt his life slowly coming to an end when he whispered.


“Chichi, I love you.” One last tear, the first at the same time, rolled down his cheek and shattered on the floor.
