Chapter: Refuge at Piccolo 2
I thank everyone who read my story, especially Piccolo09 and Lord_Vegeta, who left me a motivating comment !! There is really nothing better than having something like that written under your story! * snif *
So here comes the second part at last! The process of this part turned out to be a lot longer than I had thought, and I wasn't able to pack everything in. Therefore no piccolo this time either. But definitely in the third part.
I hope that I haven't slacked off too much, as I've given myself a lot more time for the first part. I'm curious to hear your opinion, but first of all have fun reading!
Vegeta resolutely walked down the hall. In the end he saw the unconscious guard. He frowned and wondered if a burglar had actually sneaked in here. While he was still thinking about it, he suddenly had to pause, because he felt an aura flare up close by, but it died away again immediately.Concentrated he tried to locate it again, but it was now completely erased again. However, he could clearly identify the aura as that of a human.
"What was that?", He thought, slightly confused, "but not a burglar? Which damned person can please extinguish his aura?" (Except those of the Z group, of course)
Vegeta continued on his way attentively and looked around the corner. His gaze immediately fell on the closet, because he was sure that the aura had come from there.
"Ah, the little bugger must have crumbled in the junk room. I'll make minced meat out of that ...", Vegeta grinned inwardly. His confusion was gone as quickly as it came. With a big grin, he stepped over the unconscious man and picked up the doorknob. Then he tore it open with a jerk. For a few seconds he stood in front of the closet and was disappointed to find that there was no burglar in it.
"Hey, where are you? Show yourself, human!" He growled menacingly. Still nothing moved.
"It must be here somewhere," he mused angrily, took a step into the chamber and looked around to the sides. As he turned to the left to examine the shelves, he suddenly felt the aura from before come back to life, right next to him! But before he had really realized this, something kicked him full force in the sideways face. He only felt himself being thrown into the shelves, which collapsed with a crash. The splintered wood rained down on him while he tried to understand what had happened. For a brief moment he lay under the rubble and rubbed his chin with his hand, which hurt a little.
"Damn! What was that? About this burglar? How could he kick me away like that ?! And so fast?", It hammered into Vegeta's head, horrified. Who the fuck was that? He had to follow him immediately.
"He'll get that back!", Vegeta growled angrily and rose from the rubble. He noticed that his hand was bloody. He stared at her in disbelief and only now noticed that his lip was bleeding and blood was running down his chin. (from "rinnen", not "running")
"That ... I think ... just not ... that was ... definitely ... not a human," he stuttered confusedly.
But suddenly his eyes sparkled angrily. He felt badly hurt in his pride that he had been bloodily beaten in boxer shorts by a primitive person! His anger rose immeasurably, he clenched his hands into fists and while he freed his powerful fluid, he growled with all his might: "Arrgh! I'll finish you!"
His scream was full of terrifying anger, it echoed through the entire Capsule Corporation and by now everyone in the house had woken up. Vegeta stormed out of the chamber in a rage.
Lee had of course deleted her aura immediately after she had brought it for her powerful surprise attack, hurried frantically into the corridor and slid around the corner. She could still hear the shelves smashed under Vegeta's serve and everything collapsed noisily.
She hated making noises at work, but it didn't matter now. All she had to do was make an instant escape. Not a very elegant finish, but Lee wasn't worried about that at the moment. The joy of her well-hit step also passed very quickly when she thought about how angry the guy would be. She knew him too well from her observations. He was already sick when it came to honor, dignity and vengeance.
Lee dashed down the hall in panic, carefully looking for a way out. Of course, your trained eye caught sight of the ventilation shaft that was just below the ceiling. A wave of relief came over her. That was how she probably escaped.
She flew under the covers as fast as she could with an extinguished aura and stormed into the shaft, the flap of which opened inward and closed again after she entered.
Here in the narrow shaft she felt reasonably safe, because Vegeta would hardly find her here. And it was reassuringly dark that Lee had to turn her night vision goggles back on.
Before she could finally take a deep breath, she suddenly heard a tremendous scream that made her blood run cold. It was Vegeta who unleashed all his anger. Sweat of fear ran down her forehead when she noticed how rapidly his fighting strength increased. She would not have expected such an extent. Panicked, she accelerated and turned left at a junction, as she thought she had seen an exit in the distance. In fact, she eventually reached another flap, through which she slipped and ended up in a large bath.
Lee glanced around quickly as she headed for the door. This bathroom was really huge and contained several showers in addition to a washing machine. She appeared to be in the communal shower room, which Lee was delighted with.Because the large workshop, in which a large garage door led to freedom, should be very close by. Lee pushed the door open roughly and came out on a bare, gray stone hallway.
Panting, she paused and looked around briefly. The hallway wasn't as luxurious as usual. The walls weren't covered with carpet, but with tiles, and there weren't any flowers and pictures were certainly not hanging here.
She was sure that this was the way to the workshop, precisely the door on the right.
"Yes, I can finally get out of there! I have to hurry, Vegeta may have already thought of looking for me outside," she made herself nervous. She stormed down the hall, swung open the door, and stepped through.
Indeed, the workshop. It was just huge and Lee would have thought it was a parking lot at first glance. Then she had to stand for a moment in amazement, because up in the ceiling there were some large windows through which the heavenly bodies shone magically.(I hope you don't mind the invention with the workshop and garage door)
She had to convulsively move on and ran past all the cars and airplanes, which were apparently all under repair, and machines that looked more than high-tech, until she reached the large garage door at the far end.
She turned her attention from the gigantic room to the gate. She had to get out of here somehow inconspicuously! Her gaze fell on the door next to it, which also led outside.
"Finally, my salvation!", She thought relieved and tried to open it. Of course it was locked, Lee hadn't expected anything else. As if by reflex, she pulled out a lockpick and clicked the lock to open. She jerked the heavy door open and fled outside. Carefully she looked around for Vegeta. But thank God she could still locate his aura in the house. However, she suspected that he was also about to leave the building. She couldn't lose any more time now. She was almost there. She couldn't afford to make another mistake. Her thoughts drove her down. She stormed off, rushed across the property, and jumped over the fence. She ran on as fast as she could to quickly disappear into the dark streets of the big city.
Vegeta stormed down the hall. Wild with anger, he raced back and forth, turned on the light, and looked for that darn intruder. But he couldn't find it. The aura was completely extinguished again and he seemed almost swallowed by the earth. It drove him crazy that he was so embarrassed. Breathing heavily, he finally paused and decided to look around outside. He hurried out of the building, hoping to catch the intruder on his escape.
But Lee was up and away. On the way to her secret hiding place (what a stupid word * sigh *), which was in the north-west of the capital in an uninhabited rocky desert (take a look at the World Guide!), She did not allow herself a break. While she was still in town, she dared not fly. Vegeta could easily spot her in the air if he was still looking for her. But since flying didn't exhaust her so much, she did so close to the ground as soon as she left town.
Lee's thoughts only revolved around the current situation. But she could hardly take a clear thought, she was literally in shock, her pulse was racing and her heart was pounding numbly in her head. It was already difficult for her to control her aura, she just wanted to be safe and finally to rest.
Fortunately, she was faster than she had expected, because without really noticing it, she had already shot over the sea and could see the location of her secret hiding place in the distance.
When she was finally on the ground again, she noticed again how exhausted she was, but she held up well, because she was already as good as at home. She dragged herself to a (inconspicuous * g *) rock and disappeared over a hidden ladder into her underground hiding place. She closed the entrance again sensibly, leaned against the nearest wall and slid down exhausted on her to the floor. She was out of breath and panting heavily. The sweat ran down her face, which she let sink once on the chest.
"Uff ... I ... made it ... I got ... safe ...", Lee gasped weakly. She was totally exhausted. This break-in was the horror of her life, she hadn't expected something
