Chapter: Refuge at Piccolo 4

Salut, les copains! (woah, I can speak French well! * g *)

Big thanks to my dear readers! (I had already formulated that in a more unusual way ...) And have fun reading the fourth part! (It cost me a lot of work !! * grumble *)

@Lord_Vegeta: Yes, I can hardly find my story again when I go to look for clerks ^. ^ *. That must have something to do with the title, but as I said, it's too late to change it (I want a clean, tidy list under my name! .... No, I'm not perfectionist! How do you come up with that ??! * gg *) Now I always look under "Title with Z", you can find it right away.

@ Piccolo09: I hope you read my picking list! About the thing about Lee's ability: In the end, it kind of surprised me too. But that is now changing all of a sudden. (Hopefully I haven't given too much away ...)

Piccolo let himself be thoughtfully buried under the rubble.

"Man, me idiot! It's embarrassing how I let myself be thrown into the rocks by the! I really underestimated her, I didn't think she was so strong and fast, but above all so skillful. Where did she do that just learned? Regardless, I don't fall for her techniques anymore. She should dress warmly! "

He released his ki and blasted the rock around him. Some boulders were thrown explosively on all sides and crashed into the high rock walls. Lee avoided them without losing sight of Piccolo, who floated out of the rubble and landed on the desert floor again. To her surprise, he grinned at her confident of victory.

"I underestimated you," he admitted, "you have really interesting tricks. But now I'm serious. Get ready for a real fight." He took up a fighting stance, his face suddenly changed to deadly serious.

Lee felt queasy. She knew only too well that he was far stronger than her.She had been surprised herself that she had hit such good marks.

"If he takes it seriously now, it looks bitter to me," Lee realized uncomfortably, "But I have to stay tuned! This fight is only meant to impress him and arouse his interest, because ordinary people care about them Don't give a damn! Yes, he doesn't give a damn too, but one day he must care so much for me that he'll stop Vegeta from killing me! "

Lee took up a fighting stance and also looked serious, concentrated, her eyes fixed on Piccolo. As expected, he charged her. The meters of distance dwindled as she was horrified to find that she didn't know what to do. The thought that Piccolo was going to give her a real, tough fight paralyzed her.

"Come on, I have to do something! I have to impress him! Remember, I can fight, I am fast, I am skillful, I am strong!"Motivated by these thoughts, she stormed off screaming as well and headed straight for him. He was getting damn fast. She reached out her arm to be ready for a collision. Suddenly he was out of sight, Lee." She spun around frantically, he must be somewhere next to her! She felt his aura. His presence was uncomfortable, so dangerous. Suddenly she perceived something green behind her.

"Don't be afraid of it now!", She thought in panic and pulled out to a Uraken (punch on the back of the fist). But she hurled her strength into the void, she felt no resistance and was pulled back by her own blow. She twisted and lunge to keep from falling. She stamped so hard that the sand and dirt splashed into her downward facing face. She closed her eyes reflexively and held her arms and hands protectively in front of her face. Her eyes burned, she couldn't see anything. But Piccolo would attack anytime! Where was he? Was he next to her? Behind her? She whirled around uncontrollably again, now she was blind and panic too. She didn't know whether to protect herself or lash out. His aura was still next to her, behind her, around her, just everywhere! She had the feeling that the moment was dragging on for a miserable length. All she heard was the scraping of her shoes and her heavy breathing.

"Focus! You have to win this hand-to-hand fight!" Her aching eyes widened to see something. But she only noticed a huge cloud of dust around her. Did she stir up so much dust or was it the dirt in her eyes? She didn't have time to think about it anymore, because all of a sudden a fist shot towards her face. She threw her face aside, she could hear his fist whiz past her and felt her breeze. Her other hand tried to grab his wrist. But this hand also reached into emptiness. What was going on? Was he that fast? She believed that she was losing her balance, that she was falling and she felt completely at the mercy of her. And suddenly she felt something that dug deep into her stomach and pushed her into the air.

"What ...?", It shot through Lee's head until she could no longer take a clear thought, all perception ceased, she could only see blurred. She felt as if she were floating. Her gaze fell on Piccolo's face, which before her eyes became more and more blurred and swept past. Then suddenly something came from the side. It rushed towards her with tremendous speed and force, ramming her hard in the neck. She was thrown several meters through the air and back into reality. Her body was suddenly flooded with pain. Her stomach and neck literally burned. Lee wanted to scream, but she couldn't, she gasped. She shot through the void, she had lost all orientation.Gradually her speed decreased and she made uncomfortable contact with the ground. Her chest shook painfully. She slid over hundreds of stones and bumps that tore her back, but Lee hardly felt it, her body was so numb and at the same time so painful. It finally came to a standstill. She couldn't tell whether she felt pain or not. Nor did she know whether the blackness in front of her eyes should be the night sky or whether she had simply exposed optical perception. She moved her heavy limbs, rolled onto her stomach, and shakily leaned on her arms. She gasped for air, her chest pumping up and down violently. She gasped and spat blood. She felt like her head was going to explode.

"I can't ... give up ... I have to ... get up ..." Lee's head haunted. Dazed, she straightened up on her wobbly legs and turned her fuzzy gaze towards Piccolo.

She expected him to watch her motionlessly, but he was about to attack her again. Fortunately, her spiritual perception returned, because she still felt pretty blind. She felt him rush toward her and hit her with his hand. She tore her body sideways, but she felt infinitely slow. She noticed how his fist rammed her side, then suddenly a shadow fell over her eyes. The tip of his hard knee smashed right into her face and shook her brain, which stopped all thinking for a moment. Waves of pain came from between her eyes where it had met her. Lee fell backwards. She made a high arc through the air and hit her head first. But for the most part she hardly noticed. She rolled over once, then her limp body lay on her stomach.

It didn't take long for her to regain consciousness. She inhaled the stuffy dust beneath her and coughed panting. She wanted to straighten up, but every single limb and her head ached with every slight movement. And that now even her face ... strangely enough, it felt pleasantly cool. Shivering, she stroked her forehead and withdrew a blood-smeared hand. But that didn't bother Lee much. She surprised herself that her will was still not broken.

"No, I'm not giving up! My life depends on it. I'll show him! With my fluid I can take him by surprise again!", She thought and concentrated on her inner energy. She discovered that she still had a lot of it. She had regained courage and a grin crossed her face. She was ready to counterattack.

She forgot the pain, jumped in one leap, and kicked herself into the air with a few more powerful kicks. her clenched hands formed a huge ki ball as she hovered a few meters above him.

"TAKE THAT!" She shouted with all her might and directing her collected energy to Piccolo, who stared at her in amazement. Lee's strength discharged so suddenly over her shaky hands that she was hurled backwards herself. Her energy rushed towards Piccolo, who held his arms protectively in front of him. The ki attack crashed into his block and crashed loudly. But apparently he hadn't put it away without any problems, because he didn't hesitate for a second to form an energy ball as well.

Lee had caught himself and was floating in the air as she watched everything. Her attack had taken a lot of strength and she had to recover first. So she didn't like it very much that he wanted to attack again. But it didn't help, she went back to fighting stance.

And faster than she thought, Piccolo jumped high in the air, he had jerked his arms back and hurled a bright yellow, basketball-sized ki ball down at her.

She was crazy about it and before Lee knew it, she rammed her stomach. She could just barely hold it with her hands. But it was scorching hot and overwhelmingly powerful. Lee was pushed back, the ball tugging at its last reserves of strength. She stared in panic at the glowing energy. She could be reflected in her, looked into a bloodied, convulsively contorted face. And suddenly her gaze fell on the ground, right under her was her secret hiding place! Under no circumstances should she give in to the pressure of the ball! Lee began to whimper, she no longer knew whether it was pain or fear.

"I have to stop her ... stop her ... mustn't give in ..."

Her fingers spasmodically pierced the surface of the huge ki ball. They got so fiery that she thought they would burn up in them.

"I have to use my own energy ..." Lee saw the only option. She collected everything that was in her again.Screaming, she let it out and pumped it into the ball. She felt how all strength drained from her and how the tremendous energy she held between her hands developed into an explosive
