Neko's story




Gohan: Let's fly over there, then you can tell us what happened back then!


He pointed to a spot between the spaceships' extinguishers.


Neko: Good.


You fly to the spot and sit on the ground.


Neko: All right, Vegeta, you probably remember the day our planet was destroyed. You taught me, like every morning, to concentrate my energies on an energy ball when father came and said you should come with me on Freezer's spaceship. I was pretty jealous of you back then because I wanted to come too. You were always allowed to fight with father, but with me it was said 'you are too young' and 'first learn to control your energy'. Well, I definitely wanted to come with you back then and so I secretly snuck on board your spaceship, which then took us to Freezer's spaceship.I waited behind the transport boxes until you all were gone and then crept down the hallways. What I didn't know was that Freezer's spaceship was so big and I slowly panicked because I couldn't find you anymore. Then I heard father's voice and ran relieved to the room in which I heard her, but as soon as I arrived I saw how Freezer killed our father.




Vegeta lowers his gaze, imagining what it would have been like for him to see his father die like that.




Neko: I was rigid with fear and thought it was just a dream, it can't be true. Freezer also killed the other elite fighters. I ran off, I just wanted to go back to our planet to tell the other sayajins. Confused, I wandered around the spaceship and suddenly noticed a window from which I could see Freezer. He hovered with his seat over the spaceship and he created a huge ball of energy with just one finger and then ... he shot it down on our planet.



Neko shudders at these words and the others try to imagine what it would be like for them to watch helplessly as someone destroyed his planet.




Vegeta: But I was on Freezer's spaceship too. How can it be that I haven't seen you?


Neko: When I saw the planet explode, I was afraid that Freezer would find me and then I saw the space capsules at the end of the corridor. They weren't guarded, so I snuck into one of them and pushed all buttons like mad. It worked, the capsule took off.




After three days I landed on a planet whose inhabitants had apparently already been killed by Freezer's people. Immediately I got back into the space capsule to fly on, but nothing worked, the 'tank' was empty. It didn't work anymore, I had to try, for better or worse, to survive on this planet with little vegetation. What I didn't know then was that for some reason the time passed there differently.It only passed half as fast as normal.


Vegeta: That explains why you are so young.


Neko: You mean contrary to you? Well, continue with my story: As I said before, I thought all Sayajins had been destroyed and every time I thought about it my anger at Freezer increased, I really wanted to become stronger than him to avenge our people and our father. Only my anger kept me alive all these years on the planet. I trained every day even though I didn't even know how to ever get off this planet without a space capsule. My strength increased and every time I was close to death it increased further. At some point I observed a strange animal that I had never seen before and when I approached it, it suddenly created a strange energy bubble around it and flew into space. It must have been afraid of me. But that was the idea. If I manage to form such a bubble around me, then I could fly to other planets and finally oppose Freezer.It took a long time again, but I learned to create this energy bubble. At first I only managed it for a few minutes, then several hours. The bladder now lasts for many days, but it consumes a lot of energy.


Son Goku: What? Can you really fly through space?


Neko: Sure, I don't need a space capsule, even though it's more convenient.


Piccolo: I've heard of these animals, they are extremely rare.


Vegeta: You have achieved a lot in the years that I conquered planets for Freezer.


Neko: I heard about it, Mennok and the others told me about it.


Vegeta: Why did you join them anyway? You are much stronger than she is!


Neko: When I was finally ready to search the universe for a trace of Freezer, I came across these ideotes. They told of a Sayajin who killed Freezers. I didn't believe them at first, but when they said that other Sayajins had survived I became curious and followed them.Well and that's how we got here. I didn't need her anymore, so I killed her.




Unaffected, she grinned at the remains of Mennok, Vami, and Urak. Suddenly she gets up and makes a serious face.




Neko: Enough babbling, we have more serious things to talk about. Vegeta!


He looks over at Neko, puzzled: What?


Neko: You are still the rightful heir to the throne of the Sayajin people!




Vegeta and the others also get up when they hear this and make a serious face. Vegeta already thinks what would come next.




Neko: And as king it is your job to lead us and wipe out every one of Freezer's people.




Goku, Gohan and Piccolo startle.


Son-Goku: That's nonsense, Freezer is dead and there are only 6 Sayajins left, who needs a king or a leader?


Vegeta: For once, I have to agree with Kakarott that I no longer travel through the universe to conquer planets.Now I even have a family here on earth.


Neko: family? I did not know that. If you really want to stay here then I probably can't say anything against it, but after a fight it can look different again.


Gohan: A fight? Do you want to fight Vegeta?


Vegeta: That's how we always ran affairs among Sayajins. Whoever loses has to submit. Okay Neko, I'll take the challenge.


Son-Goku: That could be exciting (to Neko and Vegeta) But don't destroy the whole earth, otherwise I'll get involved!

Goku, Gohan and Piccolo fly a little further away. Neko and Vegeta are now facing each other.

Neko storms towards Vegeta and her blows thunder down on him. He can only fend off a kick before a blow to the stomach followed. Vegeta is falling to the ground when he suddenly stops.




Vegeta: You are stronger than expected!




Vegeta transforms into a super sayajin and the fight goes on, they seem equally strong and both of them take heavy blows. Now Vegeta lands a punch in Neko's stomach area, but she counters with a kick in his side. They fly apart a bit. Neko wipes the blood from the corner of his mouth.




Neko: What's this Vegeta?


Vegeta: What do you mean?


Neko: Do ​​you think I can’t feel that you’re not fighting with full strength? Think about what it is about and fight right!


Vegeta: As you like.




Vegeta gathers his energy and transforms into a 2-fold super sayajin. Again Neko storms towards Vegeta, but this time she has no chance, Vegeta fends off each of her blows.She strikes again with all her might, Vegeta takes a swing and hits her in the back with folded hands. She falls to the ground and crashes into a rock that collapses instantly. Vegeta hovers over the rock while Neko digs himself up.




Vegeta: Give up Neko, you can see that I'm superior to you!




Neko stands again and slowly hovers to the same height as Vegeta.




Neko: Hahaha, don't overestimate yourself Vegeta! You are right, unfortunately you are superior to me when it comes to fistfighting and speed, but ... I haven't shown you all my energy!




Neko creates a huge ball of energy in front of it.




Neko: You should fight them off, or the earth won't exist much longer!




She fires the ball of energy and Vegeta confronts her. He is swept away a bit, but then he manages to move her towards space. Everyone watches the ball until it disappears.



Neko (smiling): I knew you could do it!


Vegeta: You don't impress me with that!


Vegeta shoots his energy balls and they spread around Neko.


Neko: What?




The bullets all shoot at Neko at the same time and explode. A large cloud of smoke remains.


Goku: Vegeta, what's the point? Do you want to kill your sister?


From the cloud comes Neko's voice: Don't worry, I won't let myself be killed that easily, I've trained hard every day since I landed on this planet and nobody will ever kill me!




The cloud slowly dissipates and Neko emerges in an energy bubble that is criss-crossed by small lightning bolts. Everyone looks in their direction. The bubble disappears.




Neko: So now I'll show you what I've got!


Now Neko shoots small energy balls and Vegeta tries to avoid them, too late, he is hit and falls injured to the ground.Vegeta tries to get up straight away and spits blood.




Vegeta: I will never give up! I want to stay here on earth and continue to train my son. No i will win this fight.




Vegeta manages to use a final flash against Neko, but she just hurls him towards space and then sees Vegeta storming towards her.




Neko: Wait Vegeta!


Vegeta stops just in front of her.


Neko: We don't need to fight any more, I see that you really want to stay
